[Q] Shuts off after Bluetooth file transfer - Acer Iconia A500

My A500 will sometimes shutoff after I send a file to it via Bluetooth. It doesn't matter what kind of file or the size of it. I will do it more often when I am transfering a picture from my phone. Im using a Samsung Galaxy S phone so both are Android OS. Any ideas why it shuts off? It does not do it all the time its just random as to when it does it. The A500 is running 3.2 non rooted and my phone is non rooted as well with 2.2 on it.

Random Reboot with GRI40

I'm not sure if anyone experienced this yet, but I got a random reboot today on my Nexus One running the official 2.3.3, unrooted, etc...
I was driving in my car listening to music using the stock music app when it just stopped. When I checked the phone all I felt was a vibration and saw the boot screen.
I know the Nexus S had a huge problem with this, but apparently that was supposed to be patched with 2.3.3
I used to experience my Nexus One rebooting in the car when the temperature was high. The reason it would reboot was when bluetooth was on and it was connected to a dock. However, these issues were experienced with 2.1 and 2.2. Since 2.3.3 I haven't seen it reboot either "randomly" or reproducibly though...

I just updated from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 and differences are big, but some problems stayed, like slow WiFi, notification light not working, camera seems lower quality than on GB... And, the thing I hate the most about new update is that I can't root my phone! I'm thinking about flashing if some other method doesn't show up...
@Lancerfq
Did you flashed your phone or you updated with PC Companion?
Make sure to do a pc companionship repair after you update. This will make the phone work properly. The only thing bad about ics is the stuttering camera recorder. You can fix this with stabilizer off. I wasnt paying much attention to this while on gb so can't say if it was any different.
Oh and no root yet, that's about it.

[Q] [N900T] Skype mic stops working during calls

Hey all. I just got my Note 3 two weeks ago and I love it. The battery life is great, great specs, unlocked bootloader, and I find it easier to use in terms of size compared to the Galaxy S5. There is only ONE problem with this device.
The mic stops working during skype calls after random periods and the only solution is to hang up the call and call again. This lingers even after restarts of the app and phone.
Being a Nexus user since the Galaxy Nexus, the first thing I did was install TWRP and the latest CM nightly. I personally can't stand Touchwiz, which is why I sold my bootloader-locked GS5 to get this bad boy.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is it a Skype problem? Is it CM? Lollipop? My mic is fine, it works perfectly in every other application.
Also, I've noticed that USB 3.0 mode doesn't show up in the Connection type selection menu. Is USB 3.0 file transfer only supported in the stock kernel?

Bluetooth issues

Having an issue with the Bluetooth on this phone. When streaming music to a stock head unit (no navigation) on a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, the songs speed up for about a half second, every 30-40 seconds. It's not skipping, pausing or anything like that, it's actually speeding up the temp and pitch.
An S7 Edge doesn't do this with the same head unit, but the user was not happy with the S7E.
I haven't tested with other devices (but I will shortly), because she only listens to music in the car.
Anybody else see this issue? Thanks!
Same issue here. Happens in my car, with my shower speaker, and with my portable speaker
(UE Boom 2). It is incredibly frustrating and has been an issue with my phone for a while. Really miss my note7.

have you done a factory reset?
I know my bluetooth earbuds did this sometimes. It happened after trying to skip a song.. If youre not rooted, try a factory reset or see if your phone has an update? If you are rooted. Id wipe youre phone through TWRP and reflash your rom to see if that helps.
OK, so the phone isn't rooted (and never will be) and a factory reset is completely off the table. I do believe that it is either fixed or worked around, I switched the music player to PowerAMP 3.0 Beta latest build and it seems to be completely gone.
i also have this same issue when bluetoothing to my car. i still havnt found a fix/workaround for it. had this issue with stock ROM/and now the custom ROM so hopefully a update will fix it.
I've had this issue in 2 of 3 places that I've paired up.
1) Dodge Durango - Music from any app is basically unlistenable. I get about 10 seconds of music, then a bunch of stuttering, then about 10 seconds of music.....
2) Samsung Soundbar - Same description as above, but only when more than 5 feet from the soundbar. BT should be at least 30feet good in an open room, right? Yeah, not for me.
3) Jawbone Jambox - Everythign works fine here from everywhere in my condo. Separate, rooms, no problem. Weird.
So yeah.. Not sure if it's a BT buffer thing, but I certainly can't find any settings that might make any difference.
SUCKS
Same problem here. 2017 F250 Sync 3. Before I rooted it would randomly drop the bluetooth connection. Seems a little worse now that I am rooted running the stock Rom. Thinking maybe I should try an ASOP rom?
I do not have this issue or dropped connections. I do, however, get a 3-4 lag between the sound and the mouth movement on screen. It only happens with my LG V20 and my previous phone LG Nexus 5X. Before that I had a Huawei Nexus 6P that worked perfect.

I have a 2016 F150 with Sync 3 verizon 2.2 with Android Auto and I never had bluetooth issues until I rooted my V20 with Verizon. I also was having bluetooth issues with my Android Wear watch after rooting, it would randomly disconnect and never connect again until rebooting the phone. What fixed it for me was flashing the modStock kernel, I am currently on the WETA rom and everything is perfect.

So I wiped my phone and loaded the MegaROM. It's much better. Not perfect. So I believe most of the issue are likely software. Again stock the phone had significant issues. My old V10 rooted never missed a beat on this truck.
Bluetooth can always have random problems pop up unexpectedly. Aside from the occasional glitch here and there, I havent had any major bluetooth issues on t mobile stock Rom or on WETA (which I'm currently on)
My V20 never connects to my car bluetooth automatically, and doing it manually every time is driving me insane. I'll try rooting and flashing some ROMs tonight to see if that solves the issue.

Android Auto full of bugs. Any solutions?

Hi,
first of all, I love my Mi 9t. But I'm using android auto everyday and it is still full of bugs. First to paint a picture of my setup:
-Mi 9t Global 11.0.6.0
-Car: Skoda Fabia 2019, tried different USB Cables, everything works perfect with a Samsung Galaxy S9
List of Bugs:
1. Crashing of Media apps after disconnecting Android Auto
After disconnecting Android Auto the active media app crashes. I have to completly restart the app. Doesn't matter if using a podcast app like "antenna pod" or "podcast addicted" or "sportify". All of them are crashing.
2. Can not start media apps inside Android Auto
If the phone is connected to a car I'm not able to start any media app by using the cars display. There is just a message saying that the app isn't avaible at the moment. I have to pickup the phone and start the app directly on the phone.
3. Spontaneous crashes of Android Auto
Sometimes Android Auto just crashes out of nowhere. It automatically restarts after a few seconds, but after that I have to restart the media app by picking up the phone. (see bug number 2 and 1). It happens more frequently during calls.
4. Android Auto is lagy
It's not a bug, but in comparision to the Samsung Galaxy S9 Android Auto is a bit more lagy. It's not unusable but every command needs a few more moments then on the galaxy S9.
I tried different things to solve these problems. Using different usb cables, trying different media apps, changing the energy saving settings. Nothing helps so far.
These bugs are very annoying, therefore I thinking about using a custom rom or switchting to another brand. I got my Mi9t for a year now and these bugs are still not fixed. Some of them can lead to dangerous situations, because I have to pickup the phone during driving.
Does anybody having any ideas what else I can try. I don't want to do a factory reset now, because all the work I have to do setup the phone again. Does anybody else have similar problems?
Thank you all
Sorry, I am using Android Auto with Havoc 3.6 in an Audi Q3 and I don't have any of the issues. Works nice, no lag or crashes.
I even use AA Mirrow to get the TomTom app on my car's screen. Works most of the time as well.
I know this is not helpful, but just saying it's not the phone`s fault.
Thank you for your help. Now I have at least a recommendation for another rom I can try.

If you are going to try another ROM then you need to backup your data.
I would suggest you try the xiaomi.eu MIUI 12.1 weekly ROM. I have been using it for well over a month now and it is relatively stable, almost completely ad-free, and it also includes the latest security updates for Android 10.
update firmware of your car's multimedia. I use AA everyday with lineage, but I have had miltiple ROMs without an issue
