I went to T-Mobile today because I was eligible for an upgrade.
I hated all the phones that are out now. I didn't want the Galaxy S 4g.
I had a cracked Vibrant. (It works fine, the screen was just cracked.)
I had another Vibrant lying around that was hard bricked.
I was always too lazy to just replace it, I also didn't really know how to do it.
I didn't want to search around and what not.
But, today.. I wanted to keep my Vibrant so.. I think I did it. ;D

does anyone remembering seeing a phone like this that was seen with a either google or t-mobile excutive
no, but they probably saw an early prototype of the g1 which looks similar to that and made a mockup of that...meaning the executive's "g1" either looked like that, or it looked similar to the current g1 but the person who saw it and did the mockup didn't get a clear view of it and improvised the bottom.

i dont think anyone ported the samsung widgetbar to the xperia but you can do the same thing with FEwidgets...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430190
i tried to get it working but had some problems...so i just gave up on it. good luck.
thnx on that!
I've tried a few seperate OMNIA Today Cabs, (WVGA) and I screwed up my X1i using one of them. I can't get the widgets working on either of them, so I guess FEwidgets is the best bet right now...
So I was bored at work and desided to make an Android Andy paper cutout. Figured since it turned out better then I thought it was going to I'd share it with you guys. Hope you like it.

Lemmie guess- Gov't Job?
Pretty sweet though- When I get down to my Gov't job in NM, I'll definitely print one up!
HAHA no not a gov't job. I do Tech support for the movie systems in the hotels so we get downtime while waiting for calls.
Folks, For a change, lets have some fun.
I know we would luv our DVP's and our friends would envy it, if it was not for the Wifi and freeze issues.
So, for a moment lets presume that we do have a bug-free DVP. Now come show the best part of your home screen!!!
Here is mine ( a bit photoshopped for the luv). And this will be my profile pic for sometime.

If it makes you feel any better I was on the phone with dell customer support earlier today and according to the they are supposed to be releasing a new firmware update this week or next that should resolve the wifi issue and freezing. Take that with a grain of salt though as it seems dell has said this to customers before.
So some things happened and my Nexus 7's touch screen got junked.
I've sent the device to ASUS support hoping they would fix it at reasonable price...
I was wrong. They want to charge me almost 75% of the damn price for an LCD change.

This is 210 USD. Any leads on cheaper ways to fix the damn display?
Get a faulty unit from somewhere like Ebay/Craiglist, but make sure the fault aint the screen.
Then take the screen off the faulty one, and replace it onto yours?
