I bought a Samsung galaxy S2 off contact. I am looking for the best plan with days and text mainly with some minutes. I would like it on AT&T bands so I have 3g data. Thank you for the help.

I would say unlock it and move to starlight talk. The phone will work the same as in a ATT network and you get everything unlimited for $45

I'm just wondering, I am currently using the MT4G on the ATT network, but i'm wondering why they didn't detect its a smartphone and add the smartphone data plan. Is it because its rooted and S=off?
My sister has the Nexus One, which isn't rooted, S=on.
When she uses the internet, ATT detects she has the smartphone and adds the dataplan.
I'm using the internet every single day and they haven't detected anything so far.

I'm using at&t also its been a month so far... no smartphone data plan yet... but I think it has to do with the imei number for your phone... I'm assuming at&t doesn't have tmobile mytouch imei's in the database.

No 3g though, which is annoying, since pictures and stuff are naturally larger.
It was funny. Everyone in the store kept asking me what phone it was and how huge it was. The manager asked me to root his phone for him so I referred him to xda. But they loved the bad ass note

How much did you pay for he plan? I am in the same boat you were by purchasing a cheap go phone, paying for for the fifty dollar a month plan and cant get it tot work in my note. Did you get a refund? Anyone know how to get a prepaid plan refund on a gophone purchase? Thanks.

You have to edit the APN to get the data working with a GoPhone sim card.
Why not go with mysimplewireless? $40 no contract on T-Mobile network.

I wanted to switch but the tiered data plan was not worth it.
If VZ does unlimited again I will switch. I average 6-20gb a month of data. Low is 6gbs.
Now it appears VZ has netter phones than AT&T. I had the skyrocket but returned it because I want the nexus and the fcc past this through in december for AT&T but it was not LTE.

Is there any possible way to make my Verizon LG G2 work on T-Mobile / Sprint or AT&T? I bought it thinking I had 30 days to change my mind and then found out I only have 14. The Verizon plans are ridiculously expensive and I want to switch over.
Is there ANY solution to this? or am I better off just selling the device online and paying the $350 penalty
