It's not any kind of problem. I was facing the same and its normal. From 0-99% it would just take about 15 mins (or more), but in reality it hasn't really charged till 99.
Obviously no battery would charge soooo fast!
I believe that its due to that 1% battery mod.

ZTE Blade Overclocking

How high have you guys gone?
Im stable at 748MHz and 50% AHB Bus, 1hour Angry Birds and no real heat.
Tried 846 but phone locked almost instantly.
Mine isn't that great; 672 max with OC+AHB kernal.
It's good enough to make a positive difference mind
How'syour battery life?
is there a significant difference?
Battery life isn't too bad for me as I'm using SetCPU profiles to moderate the clock frequencies at set battery levels. Overall, I'm getting about a day of good usage
Stable with oc at690+ahb+hui with japanese jellyfish 6

690 seems more stable and still way smoother, also set max to 250 when phone off and power save profile, can take a sec to jump back but defo saved battery.
ROM: jjf v9 btw ;-)

1200 mhz on galaxy s. Safe?

Im wondering if anybody can attest to the stability and reliability as well as safety concerns with running a galaxy s phonew at 1200 mhz. I see a lot oflash kernels boasting this overclock. Thanks in advance

Flash and find out. If it doesn't freeze, your good. Some phones can't handle the oc. There's really no grey area, it will either be stable, or it won't. 1.2 is the standard, and is probably the safest. I'm at 1.48 and stable.

I'm mainly concerned for overheating as I've cooked a couple pc processors
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA Premium App
Use setCPU and set up a temperature profile. I have mine set so when the phone hits 120 F, the processor scales down to stock clock speed and cools off.

U will not have any heat issues unless ur charging ur phone. When u charge a galaxy s phone ur gets very warm including in stock speeds
Definitely. The Infuse 4G has the same hummingbird chip overclocked to 1.2 ghz by default, so it should run with no issues. I can doing 1.3 ghz with no problem. Can't hit 1.4 though.
Sucks since my last phone could handle 1.6 ghz (through a custom 1.6 ghz DOW kernel, thanks Morific!).
It is safe but you lose battery life so that didn't work for me but it is safe and no overheating issues
Dunno what Kernel i used but it was by Morific, and was discontinued for being unstable, but my phone has been able to go up to 1.4, they tried a 1.6 but was far too unstable or something.

I think the Manhattan project messes with the environmental properties of the phone or something.

Yes, the Manhattan project was a dud since it never really overclocked the device. In fact it only slowed it down.
But I requested a 1.6 ghz version of the DOW kernel from Morific, just for fun. Surprisingly it worked well with my old device.

That depends on the phone a lot. I know lots of people who use 1200 but I did with Overstock and Tigers Blood and my phone would freeze. Also use set cpu for the same side to keep an eye on temp.

I've had no problems oc'in, but it really does depend on your chip. Been running mine at 1420 for a week, super stable never gone above 29c under load. IMO, just have to give it a shot and see how stable it is for you.
I'm using Bullet and have been getting great battery life even with it fully OC'd. About 20-25 hrs with moderate use.

Is this happening after u flashed G3Mod kernel? Which version of G3Mod do u use? 1.7 is the most stable kernel of G3Mod. Check if the same happens on G3Mod 1.7 Lite.
Im using 1.5 extreme. It was ok when i was running jpd but i flashed jps then re-flashed g3 mod and it turns off 2 to 3 times a day

Well as far as I can recollect, 1.5 Extreme has an OCed bus which causes random freezes even if you use a lower CPU frequency. I suggest you to use the latest version of G3Mod kernel.
I will give it a try. So is 1.7 the latest

This has been happening with me ever since Kyrillos 3.0...
I always thought it was a problem with the battery just slipping out because it is quite loose. I put a piece of paper on the bottom to make sure it's jammed up into the connection part at the top. I tried using Blu-tak once under the battery but didn't like the idea.
Im starting to think that as soon as we start mucking about with our phones we have nowt but problems. Im going to get another phone so i have one to use and one to mess around with.

Or should I just put it to powersave mode??
I heard that it may decrease ur phones battery life. And from others that u need to put it at least to 245MHz so that the system can run!

safe on mine
122mhz works on mine and is very consistent. It never crashed on that frequency. Don't know if it'll work on other phones.
Anyways thanks gonna underclock!!!

I would also say two hundred better safe than sorry
Also battery on mine at eight hundred mega hertz is still eight or nine hours so really its only if you had no charger for longer than that that you would under clock

I've noticed that the battery level is very unstable. For example the LG Optimus 2x's battery level changes every 1% but on the LG-GT540 it changes every 3-10%

Aurora v5 Post your Battery Life Screen shots.

Hello,
I decided to create this thread in order to check how affected battery life is from different types of usage. Every user uses his phone at his one way so some might get more, others might get less. Here is mine.

Information like this in not useful at all, at least if you don't tell about your battery life time..... One battery with 2 years old will not have the same performance of another one with 6 months...

Without turning the screen off, of course you will get a lot less. Because screen drains most of your battery during use

Here it is for Aurora 5.0 u18_entropy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36291776
There are two different choices V1 and V2, use V1 it has the same entropy values as dzo's kernel. If you are using 5.0 u19 there isn't yet ezet's kernel for it.
