Yah, stock rom browser doesn't allows you to download something that you don't have the extension installed.. xD
But, you can use Opera Browser to download that files for you
Or install nexus v2 rom ^^

Can somebody please provide a wpa_supplicant file to get reverse tethering working on tripnmiui iris froyo rom? please help.
I think wpa_supplicant is for wifi and you don't need reverse tethering on wifi.
Do you want ad-hoc support?.

yeah i want to share pc net on my x10i. but i have vista so i can't use connectify. so i wanted a modified wpa_supplicant file for trip's miui froyo rom.
there's a flashable wpa-supplicant file. You will also have to do some changes on vista. Search Google. For ad-hoc wpa-splicant for the tutorial.

which rom are you using?
What exactly did you do?
If you know where the wpa_supplicant config file is in your rom and know how to replace files than you can just extract the content of above zip file and replace it manually.

Download all files works. I've never had a problem since getting it.

As the title says i'm having trouble downloading files from any file hosts. Have tried a number of different browsers - Dolphin, Opera Mobile and Mini etc but no joy.
When i click on the specific link i have the option to download but the file type is displayed as .htm. Changing this to rar does no good as the file does not download properly.
Any ideas guys??
