Staples Availability

Does anyone know when Staples is getting the Iconia? I've got credit from returning my GTablet and think the Iconia is the next tablet for me.

Someone on the phandroid forum said staples is suppose to get them this week. Funny how they have the case, but not the tablet and best buy has the tablet but not the case.
I have $50 at best buy so I'm waiting for the case from them.

Staples in Sorrento Valley San Diego has a display up (dell streak and Iconia). I went at lunch looking for the folio case. Guy said they only got the tablets in but no cases. I didn't verify exactly if they were in or not because I bought mine last night.

Best Buy has an exclusive through this week and Staples will start selling them on Sunday. Most stores have stock already, but can not sell until Sunday.

Verified. Went there this morning and bought the case, it wasn't even on display yet. The tablet will be up for sale Sunday at the same price as Best Buy.

Sweet! I just checked next week's Staples Ad and it has the Acer Iconia Tab it in! Should be available Sunday as a few people have mentioned.

Just so you know target is getting it too, not just best buy and staples, thats the one i'm waiting for because i get my employee discount ^_^

Its not in the boxing day flyer, but I stumbled accross it. Its also at futureshop for $49.99.
Plus free shipping from both.
Both futureshop and best buy offer a lowest price gaurentee. Although the gaurentee states that they wont beat boxing day sales, it could be argued that its not a boxing day sale since its not in the flyer. Wait until the futureshop sale is over and the price goes back to 129.99. Then if you make enough of a fuss in store you may be able to get it for $36. (beat the advertized price by 10% of the difference)

Hey folks any deals on the note 10.1 yet? I know it's still relatively new but the 32gb was going for $507 on amazon over the weekend. I sat down to order on Sunday but the deal was over

Samsung controls pricing for devices sold through authorized resellers and doesn't provide warranty support for those purchased from non-authorized resellers. The "deal" you saw was probably from the latter. Typically you'll see a Samsung sanctioned "X" dollars off every once in a while but usually you'll see things like a bundled in-store gift card or free accessories instead of an outright discount. If Costco carries the Note they'll offer some type of discount if sold in-store but not online where the pricing would be exposed. Depending on your tax rate it would be the same net price by buying it online and not paying tax.
This is today's price for a G-Tab 2 after its been on the market for months at Walmart, the king of discounting.

Walmart online sale for Blue TF300 maybe this weekend only!

As i have been currently shopping around the TF300t, i came across this sale today on walmarts website. I know alot of stores are having 2 day sales starting today, but nobody has the TF300 as one of those products, this may just be a price drop but i doubt it.. $319.99 for the blue 32gb model! Discounting continues; by midsummer I wouldn't be surprised to see the Note 8 selling at 300.

I wish they would start discounting them in the UK. No way I'm paying £340 for one!
I would imagine they would shift a lot of units here if the dropped the price to less than £300.

If you go brick and mortar OfficeMax has a coupon that works in store to get 20% off any tablet this week. You can print the coupon off from their website. For some reason the code the coupon says you can use online only works on select tablets.

I was just able to purchase one at OfficeMax this evening using the 20% discount. Paid $319 + tax.
The store didn't have one in stock, but they ordered one that will ship direct to me for free in 1 to 3 business days.
If you try to purchase it online the coupon will not work. But will work in the store. The coupon's good thru June 8th.

Based on what you posted I went to Office Max at lunch time and scored my Note 8. 0. They had it in stock. Cashier was surprised that the coupon worked. I was Going to try and hold out for the brown/black model that is allegedly coming out soon but this deal was too good to pass up

Please do not use xda in order to advertise commercial products.
