Try jvr again. Flash jvr and do not flash a custom kernel. check if the problem goes away. if it doesn't, it might be a problem with your phone hardware or with your router settings

I`ve flash it and the wireless works ok ...then i`ve made a root (CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVR-v4.1-CWM3RFS) and still the wireless works well ...... will the kernel could cause this problem ?

Yeah, some kernels can cause problems like that, but I doubt a CF kernel would do that.
I would advise you to flash semaphore kernel 1.8.2 (which is the latest) it's based on CF, and I prefer it
Glad it works ok now! Do not use JVS/JVT.. Some people, like you and me, have that wifi bug on those firmwares

So, what you sugest ? to instal a stock firmware and then just semaphore ...or the same package (firmware , root , kernel ) ?

I suggest you to do a factory reset (settings>privacy>factory data reset), then flash JVR via odin, then flash semaphore kernel (that will also root your phone). Then you should be good to go ;D

Here is way to resolve your problems:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40778466&postcount=4
3. If wifi is not working do this to fix it:
a. Flash with mobile Odin this tar file that contains the two XXUBMF8 modems -> http://dfiles.eu/files/qy2st0qmf more mirrors are posted for the modems at previous posts.
(some users reported that mobile odin causes problems to recovery)
or
b. Flash with odin 3.04 the two modems. Power off your device, then open it again and boot to download mode (not reboot at once to recovery) and flash the XXUBMF8 modems

flashed Omega rom 6.0 because of headphone clipping and distortion, headphones work perfect now.
next prob no wifi have changed kernel many times how do I get wifi to work?
wifi is a kernel component.
try flashing a new kernel..
but note that sound stuff is a kernel component, so you may break your headphone stuff by fixing your wifi
you'll probably just have to keep experimenting until you find a good one.

nah, those are the main ones. you could try Abyss kernel:

I think you should search the Omega Rom thread.
You should have flashed the modem using Odin mobile pro. Detailed steps are to be found within the Rom thread.
Omega 6 is xxubmf4, how come your baseband is xxubmf8?
However, there is now available Omega 7. You can follow the instructions within the Omega thread and you should have no problems.

You can try these steps:
- either flash Adam Kernel (I personally flashed it only after I already fixed the Wifi)
or you can follow these exact steps:
Download the modem in computer (MF 4 for Omega6, MF8 for Omega 7)
Put the file in internal memory using usb cable
Remove the usb cable from the phone, the following steps need to be done without the usb cable in.
- Open "Mobile Odin Pro"
- Go to "open files" and put the modem file (MF4 or MF8 according to your Omega version) from internal memory
- Check the modems in MOP (the files should appear in modem and modem#2)
- Go to flash firmware without any wipe and press that button
- The phone will go into the dl mode with the big green android
- Press the power button for about 8-10 seconds
- The S4 screen will appear and after another 5-8 seconds it will appear the blue android
- It will show that the file is flashing
- The phone will then reboot automatically
- The wifi should work now!
Your joking me all I did was flashed Adam 1.4 about 5 times and was fixed
Flashing the right modem fixed it for me from the first time, then I flashed Adam and that's it.
You should have your baseband similar with Rom version.

Really? I flashed XDV3 on my friends SGY Duos and everything was fine. (Except he was annoyed with Xduos Bootlogo).
Can you install any other kernel without this problem? Like Compact kernel?
Anyway try with different baseband.

You can use Google Search for that.
I suggest you to check Sammobile Firmwares or XDA thread on your device forum. It will show latest firmware
OF YOUR COUNTRY/REGION.
I never owned SGY duos. I own SGY GT-S5360 and SGS+ GT-I9001. So unfortunately I cannot help you.

if you have unzipped the file downloaded from sammobile and placed the firmware file ending in .md5 in the pda section and it doesnt flash you may have to split the firmware first
see the link in my signature for how to split using splitfus2

actually latest firmware for duos is DDMF4 for india and XXMC1 for Europe at my last check (see my firmware thread links in signature)
Anyway if a number of people are reporting the kernel freezes the screen than its probably a kernel bug when used in firmware after a certain date
You will need to build a new kernel based on the latest ramdisk sources - unfortunatly thats not a job I have experience in
there is something wrong, ive tested both some time ago with same kernel and without issues, but on deodexed.
You should have to wipe dalvik cache and Battery stat via CWM before flashing Custom Rom.
Hope this will helpful for U

I could really use some help/advice on this one.. I have been searching xda and google for ages trying every "trick" there is but nothing works. My phone is the Note 3 Sm-N900(exynos)
My problem is that my wifi simply won't start:/ Now let me give you the history of this problem
I was on KitKat and my wifi wasn't working and I was pretty sure it is a hardware problem. I wanted to factory reset it and get it fixed somewhere.
I saw android lollipop and thought oh well if I am resetting everything I might as well flash android 5.0 (russian version)
I did that and baam, WiFi was back! That led me to think that it was just some software issue after all and I was damn happy.
I instantly rooted and installed trwp (made a backup) as I always do.
On the next day, wifi stopped working again, I restored the backup and everything back to normal with working wifi.
Then I decided to install the new cyanogenmod alpha version. Wifi still working fine only sd card wasn't recognized for which I downloaded the fix which is available in the cyanogen thread.
After installing the fix wifi was gone again.
I restored my backup I had made after upgrading to lollipop but now WiFi still isn't working. Is it a hardware problem after all?
That's about it. If you need any logs or any additional information please let me know.
Thanks very much in advance!

Did that and I got this:
AP: N900XXUEBOA6
CP: N900XXUEBNL6
CSC: N900SEREBOA6
I did a google search on that code and if I understood right the problem is that MODEM is missing. I tried flashing a few different MODEM files (all for sm-n900 and starting with XX which I believe is my country code).
Result was no connection at all, sim card not being recognized and missing IMEI. Now I am back on stock lollipop (rooted and with trwp) so back to normal besides the WiFi issue.

oh ok thanks. I am not experienced in that area. I read about kernels too somewhere but didn't really find anyone and also don't know much about it so if you could give some advice I'd highly appreciate it.
So 2 more specific questions on this...
1. Do you think flashing a new kernel might solve this problem?
2. What should I look out for when finding the right kernel?
Again I only have experience rooting and flashing stuff so sorry if I am a little noobish on the subject
Flashing a non stock kernel will trip knox .
If already Knox 0x1 then try the Civato kernel posted in this thread .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/rom-civz-flexlollipop-rev1-2-aroma-t2987732
Your problem reads as hardware as you have changed kernel via firmware flashes .

install just the kernel or the rom?
It says that it is for the SM-N9005 so will it be compatible since I have the SM-N900?
Thanks again and I can't wait to give it a try
Sorry it is my fault did not realize it was not a 9005 .
So don't flash a 9005 kernel .

I already had a look earlier but was mainly looking for roms. Now I believe I found a good kernel which I will try once it's downloaded (slow internet atm:/)
If you don't mind it would be very nice if you could have a quick look at it and tell if I am right or wrong in thinking this one is ok
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...il-6-2015-kernel-n900lollipop-pekaka-t3073666)
EDIT: Flashed that kernel but still no wifi
So I tried flashing various kernels without result. If nobody else has any ideas I guess I will have to take it to a shop and see if I can get it fixed.
Is there anyway to make sure myself if it is hardware or software related?
