any rom/kernel combo's with pptp encryption? - Galaxy S II General

i've searched and read much on this subject but i'm still (maybe more than before) confused.
are there any roms or kernels that have working pptp encryption? i've tried several kernals and i have it working with no encryption but if it is ticked i can connect to the network but no data is transfered.
i know there are a lot of threads about this but if somebody who knows a bit about this could help me out it would be great.
thanks in advance
Update: the newest siyah kernel seems to have done the trick pptp encryption is now working

[SOLVED] PPTP VPN *Working* over 3G

Hello,
Have tried a few ROMs in the past month and noticed that on some of them the PPTP VPN worked over 3G and on most of them didn't.
I installed today a fresh copy of Cognition S2 1.5 and PPTP didn't work over 3G. I flashed the latest nymphetamine kernel and *BANG*, PPTP over 3G started working immediately.
So, it looks like the problem is somewhere in the kernel (maybe with the iptables support?).
Anyway, if PPTP over 3G is not working for you, try to flash some kernels and see if you get it to work.
Cheers.

[Q] VPN in CM7

Hello, has anyone gotten VPN to work in CM7?
I am on intersect's kernel and all I get is unable to connect to VPN.
Is the issue from the kernel?
Just un update from me, seems the kernel was indeed the issue.
Updated to latest intersectRaven kernel and now everything VPN-related works great. (pptp and l2tp)
Netflix/crackle apps are working great from Europe now.
Cheers

[Q] Droidwall IP tables rules not applying in AOKP 2.5

I've been flashing roms for a month or so now, but need a firewall to manage data on my Pageplus plan.
Droidwall worked for me on all roms except Wizard's latest Miui build and Dubbsy's AOKP Kanged v 2.5.
Wizard's Miui had a built–in firewall that worked well. However, I didn't find one in Dubbsy's AOKP build, but really liked the rom otherwise. Anyone have any suggestions to get a working firewall? Thanks.

LG L5 Wifi cannot find my network after installing OC Kernel

So, I've installed CM 11 Beta 3 + an OC Kernel and now it just won't find my network, it just keeps searching and searching and finds nothing, I've also tried writing it manually but it says "Out of range", it is needless to say that before installing the kernel the wi-fi worked pretty well, it's not a ROM trouble but a kernel one I guess. I've also tried other kernels and it keeps failing, also tried different ROMs such as Pure AOSP 4.4.2, CodefireXperiment and it doesn't work either, any idea? somebody?
The wifi kernel fix isn't working either.
works great for me

[8.1.0] {Exynos} Not working mobile data with AOSP ROMs.

Hello. For weeks i have a problem with my mobile data using all of the AOSP ROMs based on Android 8.1.0. Today i researched and I think that modem is the problem. I also fixed it by a half - that means everything based on Google DNS working, the others - no. I think backup of modem will be able to solve my problem.
What do you think guys about this? Someone Has ever that problem with s7e or other phone? Have you solve smthn like this?
Btw. Changing DNS with rootless/root apps doesnt work.
Thanks a lot for your answers.
