[Q] how to root 2.3.4? - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

Hi All,
I'm using Huawei C8800. I've heard that Huawei C8800 and U8800 are same hardware. My phone is v.2.3.4 and I was tired for root my phone. Does anybody know how to root 2.3.4 in C8800.

[Q] Problem when root Huawei U8800 Ideos X5

I rooted my phone before, but when I had my phone repaired (because it was stuck on Huawei logo).
Then, I cannot root my phone. I used SuperOneClick and it is stopped at step #7 (waiting for device)...
Superboot did not work either.
Thanks for help!

Problems with 3UK model of the xperia arc s just would not be rooted - regardless of the method used. from what ive read (here and elsewhere), this was common when the os was updated to the latest version, which mine was. I wasnt interested in downgrading the rom to root, so i was stuck on that one.
Im not fully settled on rooting the g2 though, to be honest i havent had a need for it as yet, a lot of the common bloatware can be disabled so.....not sure, but maybe if theres no issues with the 3UK model i might try...

how to root or how to install custom recovevry on Huawei Mate 9 Pro LON-AL00?
LON-29, looking at root guide as well.
LON-L29 root also
Hi!
I'm lining up for instructions on how to root LON-L29. Just got the device today and all of my previous androids were rooted.
Current setup is firmware C432B139 all stock, bootloader not unlocked.
Anyone tried this?
It is unofficial TWRP for LON-L29 international

Seems too unstable/unreliable. Can't risk it that much, I use my phone for work so it has to be a stable root without too much risks when rooting. So far I've found rooting guides/unofficial twrp's for mate 9,but mate 9 pro doesn't have ext sd slots and seems that the file system is encrypted and twrp doesn't support it yet.
Just have to manage without root for a while. XDA is filled with excellent devs and I'm sure someone figures this out. I'm not that capable, only good at following instructions

That forum was hijacked by people with Mate 9 phones, the LON-L29 seems buried on all the replies.
I wrote a guide on this:

Hope it helps!

[Q] Blade Max Z Root, TWRP, Xposed??

Hello,
Thinking of getting the Blade Max Z exclusive to MetroPCS. It has great specs but I need to know if it can be rooted (Android 7.1.) I also need TWRP and would like to put Xposed on it.
Searching the forum didn't bring up anything about the phone.
Thanks in advance!
You will never see root for this phone. Much like the version before it, the Z Max Pro, it is unrootable

Why are they in rootable is there no flaw in the system or what I really don't understand maybe, I'm an dumb for not understanding but, I think the goal is to find the exploit not just say it's unrootable

Huawei Y7 2019 [DUB-LX3] Updates and custom ROMs

Hi guys,
Is there any custom ROM for the Huawei Y7 2019?. I think this phone should have a thread too.
Any news, comment or idea about when will be the EMUI 9 (Android 9: Pie) update arriving to this phone?.
Any of you guys, have already the EMUI 9 running on this model? I read that Huawei is testing/releasing this version but just in China (i dont have any idea why). An comment from you about this guys?
Thanks in advance and i hope this thread will be helpful for many of us.

No updates , not anymore, I don't think that someone will try to root this phone... Bootloader is too hard to unlock. So , no root , no roms...

I think i saw a video showing how to unlock the bootloader but i don't even tried it. I am thinking on sell this phone, seriously man. What a waste of time and money. Get back to Samsung definitely.

Y7 2018 model is not so different from 2019 model, better CPU (SnapDragon 430 vs 450), double ram and better selfie camera. So the same custom roms (8.1/9.0) could work on 2019, since kernel/ramdisk/vendor remain to untouched. Look for Project Treble or custom roms for Y6 2018.
2019 model is ALREADY unlocked and rooted on MoS. It worth pay 4$ for unlocking!

Any news? I really want to change the UI of this phone, it's just ugly.

Huawei's ****ty Bootloader System
Hello i was a fan of the Huawei P8 Lite because such a great phone. Being Very happy with the P8 Lite i decided to get the Huawei Y7 Prime 2018.I got very dissapointed when i found out that the forum that showed you your phone's code no longer worked. Eventually i sold that piece of sh*t Y7 and got a Xiaomi phone which serves me very well and has plenty of roms.. My advice for you as a former Huawei Fan is to sell tyhat phone and get a new Xiaomi or Samsung..
Thanks for your time, hope i helped:good:
