soft brick help

hi everyone
i've just managed to soft brick my phone while trying to flash a kernel..
can someone help me unbrick it using a mac...dont have access to a PC

Using windows you can reflash figure Be 2.2
Or if u were in a cmw recovery enabled rom then I can provided you the update. Zip for fugu kernel.
If Odin works in Mac then you can just flash another kernel/rom

Thanks for trying to help managed to get hold of a friends windows PC and flashed 4.1 + fugumod 2.43 beta 800hz edition so far so good ..
Just one query ..doesn't the 4.3 update have voodoo app?

4.3 update contains all previous updates of indroid, so just update it and u will find the voodoo app.

I did upgrade to 4.3 but no voodoo apply
Is it kernel specific?

Yes it is kernel specific. But dont know if ur kernel version is supported or not.
U can always try fugmod 2.4 beta3 kernel which definately supports it and its also very stable kernel.

He is probably trying to unroot of course!
@OP: If flashing a stock kernel doesn't work, flash a stock firmware. That will definitely unroot your phone.

Iam new to all this , mine is note "N7000DDLB2" & 2.3.6 gingerbread , I Rooted successfully,
now i want CWM for this, i saw chainfire's thread there is No "LB2" . i dunno wot to do , pls help

If you are flashing ics rom, then try using same method of root like n7000 (cwm.zip)
Find ics installation rooting link from my signature.

NewO OTA I9300XXBLH3

on samfirmware in ota files I9300XXBLH3 i have install it and is very smooth! also the toutchwiz is different you can not change the homescreen icons where phone, contacts, messanges, internet.
but very smooth!

oh my bad.. samfirmware was giving a bad gateway error earlier so i just checked samsung updates.. thanks for the clarification though..

Is it possible to flash ONLY the modem?
I´m now on Checkrom V5 (based on XXBLH1) with Siyah Kernel. And if this information is needed, I´m from Austria.

No you must flash the fw that was written at the fìrst post and direct root, and then direct install the zip file

ok.. i just flashed the ota over xxblh1 (nee).. samfirmware has the ota and there's a lot for different regions and they also indicated the needed base rom for each region..
you will lose root once you flash this so you will need to re-root the device again.. cfroot 6.4 works pretty well..
so far, i noticed that everything is scrolling smoothly.. especially in contacts and messaging.. i still see some redraws though.. but good update nonetheless..

Where does it say this is an OTA update for Australia ? I have been on XSA (australian non branded Rom) since new and havent received any OTA update since LF2.

Can you upload clean nandroid backup?
