Installed this rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242721
After installing, where my phone icon and message icon are suppose to be aren't there. All I have is application icon. I tried holding my finger down there but nothing, I tried dragging icon but thats where the remove icon is.
How do I put my icons on the bar?
I have twlauncher installed trying out how to edit it..

previously in WM6 i've tray icons - colored battery indicator and commmgr icon in standart in tray.
now i have WM6 6.6.6.666 WWE and these icons are not in standart. i don't have Init_tray.exe in windows originally. now i have downloadet init_tray.exe and created shortcut in startup... after softreset i still dont have this two icons.
the only icon is a ScreenRotate - i've addet it in startup.
any idea with battery indicator in tray? commmgr icon i could create with battery status.
second question: how to hide bottom bar, not hiding task bar. vjtoggletodayiialpha.exe - this hides upper and bottom bar. tray stays, but it deform wallpaper.
thx for help.
it seems that i need TrayAp.exe. any one could attach it?
I've been searching for a way to show an ongoing notification in the notification tray without showing a corresponding icon in the status bar. Anyone know how?
I can make it show an empty icon by using:
Code:
Notification notification = new Notification(-1, text,System.currentTimeMillis());
(-1 as the first parameter), which APPEARS to not show an icon, but in reality it shows a "blank" icon that uses up an icon slot in the status bar. I don't want it to show an icon or use a slot up.
Hopefully someone's figured this out. I've seen other apps do it, but my google-fu is failing horribly.

When QuickSettings does this, it looks to me like it displays a blank icon, and pushes it to the right-most position. Don't know how the code works, but a couple times I've managed to get my phone running slowly enough to see it happen.
So like everyone here...I wanted to re order the toggles on notification bar and found this while playing with the phone. Samsung put a nice little toggle customizer in here. Here is how to access it:
Goto settings. Press menu key. Switch to tab view.
Click device up top, then "notification panel" . It will show a bunch of toggles and you can reorder them and choose what you want. All without installing or doing anything!
Or pull down the toggle panel (2 finger or the button in NP) and then push the little pencil icon at the top, jumps you right there.

Click to collapse
is there a way to completely remove the toggles? I would rather just use the toggles on my circle battery widget menu
Hi, I'm writing here, because Phoenix Rom thread seems to be dead... So I have lates phoenix ROM, and in Phoenix options I chose to hide some icons from status bar like IME switcher etc. But now status bar is not showing any icon, I dont see alarm icon, do not ditrubt etc. I dont even see text message icos, only standard ones like wifi and clock, It dosn't matter which options I wil check in phoenix settings. It seems like status bar just broke, Is there any way to fix it without reflashing ROM again? I just did it, because of some other bug, I restore my apps set everything up, and I don't wan to do this again
I think i'm spoiled by custom roms.
Is there an easy way to show the battery percentage in the status bar at the top of the screen? (i can't remember if this is called status bar or notification bar but its where the clock and notification icons show up)
Yes, pull down notification tray and long click (or press several clicks - can't remember) on settings icon. It will add system ui tuner to your settings menu. There you can add battery percentage icon to inside the battery icon
Yes. Pull down quick settings and hold the settings icon for a few seconds then release it. If you scroll down to the bottom of your settings page you should now have a section named 'System UI Tuner' where you can do this.
What an awesome tip! I had no idea about "System UI Tuner". Thanks guys!
Thanks for this tip ....
On Oreo this option is also found under battery settings.
On Nougat battery text was inside the icon, on Oreo it's on the left side and to my eye a bit bigger than clock. I couldn't stand this design flaw, but fortunately Gravity box can fix it and show text inside the icon again or on the right side and with smaller font.
