Database Users

Let's persuade gameloft to update their games for the X10.

Since some games like Nova and Modern combat: Sandstorm don't work on our phones, even with the update, if we show enough interest, then they might update them to run on our phones.
Please post here, if you want this to happen.

Asphalt5, Dungeon Hunter, Hero of Sparta, Lets Golf, Avatar, Tom Clancys HAWX are working, Nova, Assassins Creed didnt work for me

Sandstorm works. It just that its almost unplayable because of the lack of MT (Can't walk and aim at the same time)

I also want to see Nova. But, its a game made for multi-touch. Not sure how playable it will be on the X10.

Yeah, it works for me too.
Allready worked on Android 1.6, now even better.

I think they'll work very crappy because we don't have multitouch and it's a must for good gameplay in some of their games.

The better opetion would be to have them allow mapping of hardware buttons to try and use outside MT!

Dungeon hunter only kind of works. You cannot switch the controls to the control stick which is infinitely better than point and tap

I had the same thing on 1.6 - they even gave me another game as recompensation

I'm uploading files to my site,link in sign, and the ones that works are included in the games folder.

Yo mate,i visited ur link but umm,i couldnt start Gangstar on the X10 mate ,nor Avatar...i mean they do start but the graphics are black objects and screwed textures (Its not my phone : All other games work like a charm).
(I also saw that i had the files on the SD from my old Gangstar so i didnt need to redownload,could those be the fault?)

Same problem here with Assassin's Creed.. black textures..

Firmware xwjvh problems?

I recently installed the xwjvh gingerbread firmwafe on my fone.... Its battery life. Is amazing... But i noticed while playing games especially gameloft games... It freezes alooooot toooo often it has become an irritation... Is there anyway to fix this and is flashing xxjvq a viable option for better stability?

I have the xwjvh rom and I play with modern combat 2, hawk and gt racing and I haven't any problem. What kind of rom do you have? What's your benchmark?

I use stock xjvwh... And its online games i ahve a problem with... Like modern combat 2 would freeze often on startup wen i just switch my wifi on so m thinkin it has sumfin to do with the wifi..? And i play chaos and order got stuck often. Too but now i put in jvq and it seems like the freezes have bcum much less. And bearable

Played 9mm and realized screen is not sensitive...

Hi all,
have you guys experienced insensitive screen when playing games that have joystick like in 9mm, where sometimes the joystick would get stuck in a direction and you would need to touch it again to release it from the stuck position.
Imo, this really affects gaming...

Never had any sensitive problem. I didn't try 9mm, but it could be software. Maybe a bug of the game.

I used to play a lot GuerrilaBob and I am sure I have never noticed anything wrong. Try another game with the same joystick mechanism.

9Mm is running smoothly on mine. Controls are fluid and games in general run lag free for me.maybe it's rom related, am running checkrom v5 btw.

i have this problem in PES2011, too. i will have a look for it this evening in 9mm. and i know other poeple having issue this in PES2011.
i think, it's a problem of the touchpad driver, but i have this on different ROMs, from KE7 to KI3, with and without torchpad lag fix.
and it only occurs when you touch the joystick continuously. if i play PES2011 and drop off the joystick just every few seconds the problem does not appear.

GTA 3 Keeps Crashing

Hey guys. Really liking my GS2 and GTA 3 on it, but as I get further through the game it seems to be crashing more and more. I've started it up 4 times just now and it's crashed a few seconds after each time. Anyone know a fix?
I heard Chainfire is a fix, but I don't want to root/put on a custom kernel

a simple idea.. avoid resuming the game.. when you resume, dont begin to play immediately.. play after few secs..
silly things.. but it works!

Games on ICS

For those of you that have gotten ICS for your acer tablet, you will need to download Adobe Flash to play games (Facebook). The new Android 4 does not come with flash.

you couldve just added it to my thread...the games still dont work. it hangs. or it might just be the game I am using , ravenwood.

Just to let you know I was playing Facebook game using opera mobile 12 earlier on ICS stock. Although I only tryed a couple of games they did work.
