I only went to the Motorola's service, with my broken droid (i've bricked it!). They sent it to the motorola's center...

Dears,
I have the same issue, Europen model, bricked it when I was trying to install 2.3 and no matter what SBF i use now, it keeps failing. Are you saying that there is no solution?
thanks,
Mark

You must send your device to Motorola...! but they don't have the sbf for now... I don't know why they don't have, but yesterday I've spoken with a motorola's men, that said me that they don't have this sbf and so I'm waiting also. wich screen you see? you sé bootloader corrupted or?

Bootloader version
Code Corrup
They must have have the sbf, otherwise they could not install the phones. I think what they told you is BS.
I was also pissed because I called the shop and they told me that updating the phone means loosing the warranty in a very 'nice' style, so I told them I don't care if I have to cover but fix it. I'm handing it over to them today, we'll see.
Cheers,
Mark

Help: SBF for the European Motorola Pro

Hello everybody...
I'd really like to flash the CM rom from jackpotcalvin on my German Motorola Pro.
The only thing missing is the right SBF-file (vodafone). Did anyone get his hands on it yet? I am searching for days now without any luck...
I would really apprechiate your help!
thanks
I think there is no option to get the SBF file yet. I have the same german vodafone version and I've bricked it because I'm stupid. Now, I have a beautiful and expensive paperweight.
its a bit off topic, but why don't you just send it to vodafone and let them reflash the phone? it will cost you a few euros but you will have a usable phone again.

Because my phone is from eBay Deutschland and I'm from Spain. Here this phone isn't available. I think I have to send it to Motorola directly.

[Q] [Help!] How to make my new MB526 work?

I've bought a new MOTO MB526 with silver keys, and then I try to flash the MIUI into it....OMG,it's dead.
Many versions of defy+'s SBF profiles had been used. The version of its factorysets' SBF is 2.3.6, now how can I save my phone?
Well, I got some information from China Android forums, they said that the bootloader of my phone is higher than the level 5 now. And Series of November products will be like this after RSD flashing any SBF.
Who can offer me a usable SBF for thousands China Dedy+ fans, THX.

Try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263212 or this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1127085 and if it wont help wait for new chinese rom or maybe downgrading process will help you but I'm not really sure about bootloader.

I'm sure that this version of SBF cannot be used into these new MOTO MB526, what a pity! Now I need a SBF with a higher version of CM39 and other profiles, or even I will guess that our 526 phones are real defy+?
Will we hope for the GOOMO(Google and MOTO) phone?

[Q] Failed to boot 0X1000

Hi everybody, this what happened:
I tried to flash my atrix with Atrix 1.26 Retail SBF through RSDLite.
After that it shut down and when i try to turn it on it says :"Failed to boot 0X1000" then it shuts down again. It doesn't even give me any option.
For the record, my phone was up to date (i got that wifi only system update by att). Also, this phone is unlocked and I have no warranty with any carrier.
I hope I didn't brick it.
Please give me simple solutions if there is any. Your help will b very much appreciated.
Thank you so much.
i'll let others break down the news to you..
Sorry bud, but I believe you now have a nice set of glass upon to look at.

Can't believe people are still doing this with all the warnings in the forums.
You tried to SBF back to 4.1.26 (Froyo) on a bootloader unlocked phone. You now have a very expensive reflective beer coaster!

This error also comes up with soft bricks which you can fix as you gave options to choose from and can recover. This guy has no options.

People are being helpful...by telling you sorry. If you need it for work, you'll probably just need to go buy a new phone ASAP. Like others have said, there are plenty of warnings and instructions on what/what not to do on your phone. Unfortunately, you missed those. Hope you can find another phone for cheap...
You have a hard brick, never try to downgrade. Nottach was able to fix his because he got a brick by upgrading, and he was lucky enough to figure it out. Downgrading on the other hand ruins your device, every time

We are helping you, by telling you that there's nothing that you can do. Your phone is hard bricked. There is absolutely no way to recover from a hard brick, period. You need to replace the phone. That is the reality, and there is no getting around it.
I was running CM9 on my Atrix when my digitizer went bad and I got a dead spot. I submitted it for warranty and before I sent it I tried to put it back to normal. I did something wrong I guess and ended up with a different boot error (didn't even give me an error code the screen was black unless I plugged it in I just got the NV flash thing). Anyways, I sent it in and the same phone came back completely working with a fixed screen. I think when they get it they hook it up with a factory cable and flash it back to stock with the SBK, which we don't even have access too. Just send it in for warranty saying it has software problems, and I can almost guarantee you it will come back working.

Possible he does with motorola. OP there is a tool on motorola website to see if its under warranty. Maybe give that a shot.
Bro do some reseatch that error message is a soft brick I believe I ran into a similar issue when I first roote it last year
Just thought I would weigh in that I received this same error code after an attempted SBF flash of zomgunlock-lite.sbf, and thought all hope was lost, but then I found this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27158667&postcount=153
The instructions there helped me un-brick my phone, and I'm a happy camper once again

GUIDE: Obtain your bootloader unlock code from Huawei

Note: This applies to the Chinese version. It might also apply to the international version, but since I don't have an international Mate 9, I can't be sure. I just got my unlock code from Huawei the very hard way, so hopefully this guide will make it a little easier for everyone.
UPDATE: Because Chinese text is not displaying correctly in XDA, please see here for the tutorial:

Thanks button presses are always welcome. Donations are even more welcome. I've spent tons of time working on this phone! PM me if you want to send a few bucks my way.
AGAIN, THIS APPLIES TO THE CHINESE VERSION (MHA-AL00) APPARENTLY IF YOU HAVE THE MHA-L29 YOU WILL BE MORE SUCCESSFUL CONTACTING HUAWEI EUROPE
Just running through the process now - Thank you for all your help, you are a star.
I sent an email to get my code to unlock the bootloader, now I'm waiting. Thanks to you

No harm in trying.
So, please, I hope to hear more reports. I REALLY hope that someone with MHA-L29C900 or MHA-L29C432 can get their codes soon, and help with the oeminfo collection.
@duraaraa
can you please update the title of the thread to mention this is for the L00 as some people sometimes don't read well the first post lol.
As for the L29 it's much faster apparently, we just need to call Huawei in the country where you bought the phone, then they will send it to you in 3-4 days.
I have a friend who asked for it yesterday, an got it today. I will be calling the today again just in case to be sure to get it.
Thanks !

OP5 bootloader relock and reencrypt

I've done some searching and I couldn't find any straight forward info about how to relock the bootloader and reencrypt my OP5.
I'll sell it but the buyer asked for it.
Can anyone shed some light and/or direct me to a thread I can rely on in order to do so?
