gingerxperia v12 touch sensitivity - XPERIA X8 General

Hello. I installed the rom on my x8 gingexperia v12. I noticed that the sensitivity of touch is much decreased. putting on charge instead of the touch sensitivity returns to normal. you can put the sensitivity of touch as when it is charging?
thank you

V12 is worst version if this rom, try v11 or even v10 which by my opinion is best of this rom

KhanX Touch Navia V3 vs 3LIT3 V Suite, wich one do you prefer??

Hello everybody!!
Have you tried these roms??? I´m using 3LIT3 IV, and for the moment I think is the really best i´ve tried (and I´ve flashed many). But now we have the new KhanX rom.
Has anybody compared both???
Let me know, and thank you developers for your stunning work!!!
Hello luigizgz
Well I have tried a few also in my time, the last khanx rom is too colourfull for me and I am sticking with 3LIT's for the moment which by the way is great.
Thanks to all the coockers.
I prefer udK Syrius R7, best for me. Only change camera, and will be great.
i prefer chekhars...
fast, stable.. and less bugs..
I prefer Khanx. I find that his rom is fast and stable. I'm still using his V2. Just downloaded the V3.
3LIT3 V is the best at this time for me. Why ?
Cause this rom is fast and stable with 55MB of free ram with drivers 1.31 and you can do everything without use the pen ! It's not possible with c_shekar (especially to close an app with your finger, you have to use pen !!!).
Nevertheless there are two problems in the last version 3LIT3 : icon G (can be solved see topic), googlemap inside is an old version bugged, just change it with version 3.0 (with streetview!). And for some people that would like use tomtom 7.915 inside you have some things to do for maps .
I'd like to try KhanX Navia V3, but the theme is really horrible (my opinion of course) and i'm scared by the only 42MB of free ram with drivers 1.6... If someone know if it's possible to change easily its theme and if it can be controlled only by finger i could try it...

Why wouldn't you be able to close an app in c_shekar's ROM using your finger?
You should recalibrate your screen 'cause it's working just fine.

You can change the theme easily with M2DC. And no problem with finger closing the apps. I hardly use the stylus as well.
I like khanx ROM cause it's fast though not much memory left.

Which ROM would you recommend?

I'm currently using FroydVillain 1.5. The problem i have with it is it quite often seems laggy and slow. It also tends to stop responding sometimes when the screen is on and when the screen is off, both times meaning i need to remove the battery and put it back in again and restart the phone. FroydVillain also has numerous other bugs to do with the gallery app and camera app which are quite inconvenient a lot of the time. So i'm looking for a solution.
What's the fastest Hero ROM for Froyo, and which is most reliable? What do most people use these days?
I'm not a technical person so try and keep it simple enough please.
Floyo with flykernel for speed. But I am using cyanogen with that kernel on my hero

VR12 with Flykernel is fast and stable on my device.
Cronos 1.6.0 with gani's galaxy s theme, puckerrr

if you are looking for a sense rom i would suggest modaco custom rom.. i´m using it and it just works. no problems..
I have experienced all of the problems with FV 1.5, but recently I've tried FroydVillain 1.6 and the speed is SICK. And I really do mean WICKED SICK. Try it, you won't regret it.

I m trying Froydvillain 1.6 And works really good. Much better than 1.5

I tryed all Froyo Rom on my Hero and my choose was Floyo.
- Floyo 1.1.9 is the most stable for me. For a great experience you can add Launcher Pro and remove the included launcher with the "ReplaceSystemLauncher" utility (see Floyo post for more informations)
FroydVillain 1.6 (with 1.6.2 beta update) is very complete and amazing but a little bit buggy at the moment. I hope in future updates. Note: I found GPS works very very well in this rom.
I can suggest villainrom 12. I have tried numerous newer roms but they are laggy, especialy floyo.
Hello there
I'm currently using RCmix, which lately is getting more and more laggy.
I like sense, but I'm willing to test Vanila ROM's.
Checked 0.7 Froyo sense, but I frequently use camera, so that's out of the question.
So which ROM would You recomend ? Villain 1.6.1 / Floyo ? I think that others are quite old. Or perhaps nightly/CM rc1 ?
There is also Tegro , slide ROM.
I just want a rom that works
What do You recommend ? or should I just backup everything and test run everything for a week and decide ?
cheers!
I've been using Froyd 1.6 since it was released and its been great. Battery life is fantastic only dropping 20% on light usage days. Text/call/game 5 mins.
I'm not sure i'll even bother with the patches at this stage as its been so good.
I started on 2.1 stock which was quite nice but since purchasing the phone I wanted to root it and install custom roms etc and from the research the Villain roms seemed the best option. I had Villain Rom 12.0 and Froyd 1.5 before and have found 1.6 to be much faster.
I haven't tried any of the others though so don't have a wealth of experience as some other users might do. Really it depends on what you want from a Rom... There are always going to be trade offs with the Hero.
GLHF whatever Rom you choose and give some feedback on the ones you do try as I'm def interested.
Well I was using fv1.5 a while back. Switched to floyo 1.1.9, which is a great rom. speedy at 614Mhz, had only 2 FC's in a month. Battery life was good, getting about 16 hours with light-medium usage. Am currently testing fv1.6 now tho. Have calibrated my battery, so hopefully it will last longer than fv1.5 did. Speed Is also fast on 578Mhz. Haven't tried overclocking yet. But its best to try different ones yourself and see which one suits you

What Custom ROM to FLash, please advise.

Would love to flash a Custom ROM can any one advice which one to go for, particular about performance/ battery life.
thanks in advance.
I would personally recommend cyanogen as it is nearest to stock which I like, it is also very customisable. However there is HD Revolution or Lee Droid which I have tested and both work very well.
It comes down to how customisable you would like it to be and if you want sense or not.
I am using Leedroid without problems.
I am currently on RUU 1.32 and Leedroid's ROM is based on 1.72 if I flash Leedroid's Rom, will I be able to flash back to Official/Custom with base 1.32 kernel..?
Yes. You have ClockWordMod recovery manager for that..
I am running Android Revolution HD since the beginning, and I have to say in my opinion it is the smootest rom.
In a few hours there will be a new version of the rom, here is te latest changelog
Android Revolution HD 2.0.9 changelog:
- New Apache14 kernel 1.2.2
-- Updated Interactive + Smartass Gov to fix scaling ( Thanks To Lee )
-- Smartass tweaked a little from lees values
-- Better Prox. Sensor Dirver
-- CFQ + BFQ + Deadline are all built (you can chose which one to use BFQ default)
-- TUN driver is now a module again
- Facebook updated to latest 1.5.1
- Adobe Reader was doubled in system/app and data/app. Fixed
- Improved RAM memory management
- Improved battery life
- Hosts file updated
- Some tweaks changes
- Other minor changes and fixes
But after all it is all up to you what you want, I like this rom because it still has sense in it and I like that.
I can also recommend Revolution HD.
Really fast and in my opinion the best battery performance.
leedroid all the way
Revolution Hd is my favorite bit you will be better off testing different roms

Leedroid for me. Revolution ain't bad but it just ain't Leedroid.

LeeDroid, but Revolution HD is good too
Cyanogenmod or Leedroid.

LeeDrOiD 1.5.1
Top ROM
Leedroid man i found revolution slow.
i'm using LeeDrOiD HD v1.5.1 . simply superb!!!! great stablity, sense UI, and you can customise what all you need on your phone before you flash the ROM.
awesome battery life, i went to 34 hrs on full charge, and when i plugged in, the battery stood at 20%, this is with WIFI and GPS on all throughout, 3-5 calls, and some 20-30 odd SMSs. never got that much backup on Stock ROM.
revo has better batt life in general, lee droid has all those flashy animations
leedroid for me
Sence
Do both of these Roms have Sense installed?
Reason being i really like some of the widgets.
thanks
Leedroid mate! With Lee's kernel battery life is amazing, and the phone is very smooth.

yes they both do.
I have tried both, I like revolution best. I might switch to Cyanogen but then I'll miss some of the Sense apps, like SMS, Contacts, Gallery, Email, Etc.. :-(

[Q]What rom to choose

Hey!
I'm pretty new to custom roms, and i'm not sure what is the best for me.
I want a clean rom, without tons of apps i'll never use. Just a simple, smooth, fast(as fast as it get's) Android rom.
Have look around in the dev section, but i'm not so in to custom roms yet, and a little afraid of bricking my phone!
Any suggestions?=)
Well, people seem to be torn between floyo v.20 and Elelinux v6a.
I've tested out both and they both are fully functional roms. Speed and smoothness is hard to differentiate.
I'd suggest you go for Floyo as it has LauncherPro Plus installed and a better theme.
But it's best if you try out both for a while and then decide.
Then you should try doinxh new gingerbread rom.clean rom with additional features.less crappy apps
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
my experience says that you should test all the roms that tou find interesting. It's the best way to know wich one is better for you.
Rom X could be the best for me but Y could be the best for you.
Just read all the instructions, and then prepare to try all the roms you like and choose your favorite.
I use jerpelea's+ modules.
I am using Floyo v.20 by racht its fast and smooth no bugs yet and about the unwanted app you can uninstall any app or system app by some app named app uninstaller orsomething like that
Hope I helped
proud owner of sexperia X8
I usually try to use all roms, even the beta ones
I appreciate the developer´s works, and give a try to many of them. This way I can feel which rom fits on my use

Yes, it´s a very good rom. but i find that floyo0.20 is a bit faster. Adn it has following bug: yuu can´s set location in some apps, neither througt gps nore wifi nore mobile network.
kown bug is radio.apk is not not working, in floyo it is working fine.
i use floyo, but i have reboots when i switch from 3g to 2g on some locations (not on all, where 3g is avalible. But it seems, im allone with this bug On other roms i works.
Thanks for the advice guys!=) I will test some roms out! Starting to get the hang on how custom roms work, how to install, and so on=) Think i will try out doinxh's custom first, then racht custom! As long i don't get ten tons of apps i don't need, and a rom that works smooth, then i'm satisfied^^
Btw, if you guys have more suggestions, bring it^^, Trying racht's floyo now, but having some trouble finding the custom rom in xRecovery=P tested Srom-2.3.3GingerbreadX8-V2 by stelios97&zousoum96, and found it in like 5 sec, but racht seems to be a little challenge=P

Elelinux v6 by Frogy Furnetal.
No, from HTC Hero's Elelinux Speedmachine.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1070294
You can get this much hours of uptime with rachts Floyo too... just use Fast Reboot app (once a day) clen cache periodically (2 times a week is more than enough)
Intresting enough, performance didnt dropped at all..
P.S.: dont use Task Killers
Tried froyobread, but it didn't support my language, and the EQ didn't work, so i moved on back at stock, and going to test Elelinux out next i think=) Will test out Froyobread out later, when it's near complete, and got what i want=)
I had performance issue with floyo 0.20, IGO ran very laggy.

I like this ROM very much but I have issues with Google Maps.
Sometimes when I open maps the phone reboots in 4-5 seconds.
I have tried to wipe maps data, uninstall, reinstall but no use.
I'm using google maps 6.6.0 by the way.
Any ideas?
Maybe that's a kernel issue. :/
i think this is only .35 problem. i use the same rom for .32 kernel, and it seems pretty stable no lags at all, gameloft games working excellent.
just one thing: it scores less in quadrant than other miui roms i used but i cannot see any difference in scrolling etc

Yes, .32 doesn't have any bugs regarding the screen... Anyway, as a general rule, everyone REALLY should keep away from .35 ROMs as the .35 kernel Huawei did is just horrendous. Sure, devs did patch a lot of stuff, but still, it's a patch job.
Either use .35 kernel or 3.0.8 when this one is stable.
I am using .35 and have no problem in rotating screen
me neither using last aurora update 3 and no problems at all
