No lag here.
dont work at all ask for network
Where's tilt function?
For me it's working fine without any lag. Anyone of you know how to use tilt? In my EVO 4G there's a Look-around button which allows you to tilt the satellite view.
There was another update today, but not sure of the changelog.
can someone extract and post here the apk please cause it seems its not available in greece ATM..
Thank you..
Don't work on my tablet
If you tell me where it is, I'll do my first Android extraction for you.
Tilt works when you slide up and down with two fingers.
As for those complaining that it's not working, I'd suggest you uninstall it first and then download it from the Market again.
Don't run it yet but reboot your tablet and then turn on GPS and make sure Google Maps is working(detects your location). Now run Google Earth. It should work now.
My experience is with the US A500 and so don't know if this method will work elsewhere.
yeah it still doesnt work at all with the same stupid message

Sorry to hear that. It must be a US/non-US issue then.

Google has released a Beta version of Chrome for Ice Cream Sandwich which means it will be available on the Note soon. I've been using the Dolphin browser but I'll switch to Chrome when the ICS update is released.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/249455/chrome_comes_to_android_but_only_for_the_1_percent.html?
Nice, although I wonder what's changed compared to the internal browser seeing as they're both webkit based.

Because Adobe doesn't support mobile flash any longer.

Chrome has a built in flash player. What makes you say there won't be support?

What isn't clear is if the lack of Flash is because it's a beta, or because they never intend to implement it.

No its clear, adobe is done with mobile flash. They want you to use AIR and google is going with it on chrome.
Too bad about the Flash support, since a lot of pages still use it.
I tried Chrome on my Note running the CM9 alpha, and while it was beautiful, convenient and promising, I can't use it as my default browser.
The page navigation goes haywire sometimes and the tab management does not work at all; it doesn't show the tabs and the whole application freezes and has to be restarted.
All of this is probably because it's a beta app on an alpha ROM.
Still, I'm thrilled that Chrome is finally available on Android and I'm sure it will be great once it's done!
Without flash it's a nono for me even though i love chrome on my PC.

I understand that! However, that doesn't necessarily preclude getting the existing Flash plug-in working with Chrome, because that's mostly a Google thing rather than Adobe. For example, the later Firefox nightlies for Android have experimental Flash support.
That being said, personally, I doubt they will bother.

Dave
I don't see the point of flash on a mobile device anymore. I don't miss it on my iPad at all. With that said, it would be nice to be able to use it on the rare occasion that we need it.
How often do you use flash on your phone seriously. And if you absolutely need to use it (ie restaurant website) then just open it in the stock browser, no problem!
Since flash obviously is supported on ics it just feels like an unnecessary omission that would make it my standard browser.

Looks like no flash support for chrome, ever.

Is WA under dev or will never release?
Yes Mozilla/Firefox is planning to arrange Whatsapp for their Firefox OS by developing a web app or any other way. You will probably soon see Whatsapp running on Firefox OS.

Absolutely wrong. See here.
BUT there are other options:
Wassap (no longer public)
ConnectA2 [I confirm working. Also Audio, Images etc. ]
and even a few more non official clients.
Sorry No Plans
According to Whatsapp they have no plans to bring their popular app to FxOS. Although Telefonica had suggested it last year but soon Whatsapp denied the allegations. I'm on ver 1.3 of boot2gecko and still no whatsapp and the other apps that try aren't as good.
Time to leave WA

ConnectA2 is probably the closest whatsapp clone out there. It's looking more and more like it with every update they make. It's a great whatsapp clone. I never tried loqui for whatsapp chatting, so I have no opinion on that app.

Today i descoverd the most cool app for drivers name simply Waze, you can find out lots of stuf in real time(police, gas stations, trafic jam,accident...) Let's use it in big numbers so we can take care of each other in traffic.

Thx for the info.:good:
waze is awsome !! I use it often and it's better than any navigation app because it's like a social navigation gps.
You can instantly know why your road is blocked for example.. because users share it.

I've used it before on other phones haven't gotten around to it again, but yeah it's pretty cool.
Especially when someone else on the same road as you is using it and you pass each other, everyone in both cars is looking around to see who else is using waze!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Waze and Google maps actually share the same information. While Google maps may be missing the social aspect, there's not much else different between the two. Google acquired Waze in June of last year.
Google acquired waze earlier this year and has started integrating waze feature into google maps

Yeah, part of it was buying up the competition but each has something the other needs so it makes sense. Waze has a good framework for gathering live traffic data and stuff like warnings about speed traps and accidents as people report them. They don't have a very efficient way to manage/update map data and their map data isn't as good as Google's. Also they didn't have many advertisers so they weren't making any money.
Google has great map data and connections to advertisers but they didn't have the level of live/social data updates that Waze has.
So Google bought Waze and is able to support the project financially and with map data while gaining better live analysis data about delays and traffic and cops and stuff.
I'm assuming at some point they will become the same thing (either keep Waze and make it "Waze powered by Google" or just roll them all into Google Navigation).

I use the app very much and have never had a noticeable drain in neither use nor for non-use. Greenify looks wonderful. But everyone as he wants, so no one is forced to use the app. Personally I do 1000 times better than the FB garbage
I think the new design is very interesting.. I'm excited to see how the other GApps are going to look like. For me it's very interesting that they removed the navigation drawer..

Now if only Google will get some consistency on a UI standard across their Google products. Every damn app has a different ui lol. What is the Google design team smoking over there? Lol.
Hehe yes, it's true but on the other side it's good to see they update the apps and the most updates are good updates
Hangouts , G+ are fine now , Gmail i don't use but looks ok. Maybe in the future we see a package of the apps that visually harmonize

I wish. One thing I love is consistency. The one thing that Google lacks. I think each app has its own team. They need to collaborate for a collective ui.
