Please elaborate, in what way does it not work for you?
I personally installed it and it works very well, here might be your issue, when you load a web page with flash content do you see a square box with an arrow in it?
If so, have you tried tapping the square box with arrow?
You will have to wait a while while the flash content loads.
Other than that, well, I got no idea.
Tnx works nice. Just install de APK and it runs.

I'm getting a lot out of this forum, so I thought I'd try to put a little back by posting a minor point I worked out for myself:
A couple of apps I've tried needed Adobe Flash Lite. When I allowed my HD2 to search by wifi, it responded with "Device not supported".
I went to the Adobe site and downloaded the lastest version for Windows 6 Pro and took a chance. It works fine.... So far anyway......
Link here:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/distributableplayer/distributableplayer_flashlite_wm6_en.zip
Thank you for sharing this.
Did you try it with any of the 2 browsers?
Thanks for this. What applications does it allow you to use? Will it allow me to view videos on the bbc news site etc or youtube?
Does this really work? The link is broken ATM.

it is claimed skyfire can do away with the flash lite/ flash 7?

How? lol
I installed it and so far no difference. I believe its installed as I see it under Manage Applications. Well wait, in the native browser when I click on video content it shows up with a play button, when I hit play it plays right in the browser really choppy though. Does this confirm its installed correctly? If so, why so choppy? Is it because the Aria has a processor under 1ghz?
No, the file posted above is NOT working for anyone running 2.1. What you guys are seeing in the browser is Flash Lite, which was ALREADY present and working on the Aria before you installed the above apk.
Again, do not install the apk posted above. It's just wasting space on your phone and not actually being used by the browser.
I installed the Flash 10.1 for Android 2.1 w/ sense. My understanding is that the flash 10.1 was altered to replace flash Lite. According to the Adobe website my flash version is 10.1.123.425. So I think one of them works.
See your flash version at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
That is what it says I have and I didn't install anything.

Yea it doesn't do anything. I can tell it loaded a page and quickly said htc flash or something.
I removed the 10.1 install and went to the page, no change.
So yea, don't bother with it. Useless.
But you can install Adobe Air!
http://phandroid.com/2010/07/02/install-adobe-air-for-android-now/
How do you remove the 10.1 install? I am not sure where it got installed :\
You just goto Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
D'oh! I had gone in there previously but for some reason, I missed it.
Thanks!
is there a test site
I installed this right away before it was said it wouldnt work but whats the difference between the lite and the full i didnt do any testingbefore i installed it but all the sites i have tried work fine, im using stock rom i installed it using sdk but i play games on miniclip.com and i went to a flash test site and tried all the videos and and samples they had and all worked fine. i did not do any tests before.
is there a site i can go to that will show me its not working before i remove it thanks. also one thing i did notice is that before i installed i saw something somewhere i think it was in applications and i think it was com.htc-flashlite or htcflashlite something like that and i dotn see it anymore but i do see htc flash player and adobe flash 10 before i installed it i did do a clear cach on the htc flashlite whatever that was(prolly just a flash lite bright screen) but i cant find it now not sure where i saw it.
Any chance of making thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15399026#post15399026 work?

Did you actually test it by going to a Flash enabled Website? In that case, can you follow this post and state the output?

The version test page can be found here:

I don't think FP works correctly.
My browser crashes whenever I try to activate a Flash object...
(even the flash checker thing)
One thing.
If i search my unpatched market for "flash player" it shows adobe flash player 10.3 and even gets installed.
But haven't checked further.

Hm, that's odd, lemme try to see if I'll get any different results!
I don't think it actualy installs it...I can't find it anywhere in the un-installer ._.

I also can't get back to the Flash Player's page on the market >-<
And when I tried it showed that I need to install Flash Player to use that thing (I had it installed)
I'm downloading an alternative version from the interwebz.
Well, still nothing, the 10.1 version is the only one that "displays" flash content, but it crashes, the 10.3 on the other hand doesn't even display flash.

I saw it, and my install also finished, but when I went to checkout some flash stuff it said I didn't have it.
But under my uninstaller it clearly said: Flash Player 10.3...

same with sabsa prime v 2.1, reverted back to gingerbread
I want ICS with sense because only ICS or JB that can make my device read my own language.
Flash has been "abandoned" by Adobe itself. With HTML 5 , there is no need for flash any more.
What is your native language? There are custom ROMs that support different languages.
Let me know which language you want, and I'll try to locate a ROM for you..
//https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer&hl=pl
(Type without first '//')
This one works well for my Sabsa prime
Enjoy
P.s. Sorry for url on that format but I am under 10 posts and cant paste links...
hi. I'm newbie here. but I found something.
Flash already works on kitkat. but only running on Dolphin JetPack. so I tried to enable on Firefox for android.
Here's my modified Flash Player apk, that makes flash works on Firefox and Dolphin JetPack.

I'm newbie so I can't link here. please copy and paste this url.
you need to uninstall other flash player on your device and install that apk. and run Firefox. that's it.
I only just tested on Nexus7 android 4.4, but it will work other devices.
It works! Thank you very very much, mate!

Rgrds,
Ged.
I have N7(2012) KitKat and Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.81
Thank you so much
How did you do it?
best option so far, unless anyone found anything better?
Edit: works fine with firefox 27. Video controls are a bit iffy, you need to hold down the video and select full screen to enter fullscreen mode, and hit the back button on your nav menu to exit it, could be improved, but whatever - flash in firefox
In related news, are there any plugins to allow you to set a proper homepage instead of the awful start screen in the browser? I can't find any on the official site.
Hi :good:
Thanks for the mod.
Do you think it is possible to do the same for Boat Browser ?
hmm..
Thanks for your opinions!
swf files are played on firefox's Gecko engine. so that makes play swf in kitkat. and I think dolphine jetpack maybe use same engine so also can play.
and I modified other hacked flash player apk in hex editer.

I'm confused, flash worked just fine for me in Dolphin. Always has except the short period it was removed by devs.
All I did was install Dolphin from from play store, sideload a random flash.apk, set UA to desktop and ensure flash was enabled.
Amazon instant video works along with all the other sites with short clips [emoji15]
