P1000lvjjp1 & 2 - Galaxy Tab General

Hello Experts!
I want to use Humberos Rom in my SGT but I read on his webpage that I need the P1000LVJJP2 version as a pre requisite. My SGT has the P1000LVJJP1 version so I want to know what is the difference within this two version.
Also Kies said that my version cannot be upgraded (I dont know if there is a newer version of gingerbread for the gt-p1000L ).
Best Regard.

Regarding latest U.K Samsung Galaxy S

Hey guys sorry its been a long time on the SGS thread. I wanted to ask something quickly (need a quick response for my friend)
What is the latest OFFICIAL stock U.K (via Kies) firmware out for i9000? is it 2.3.3? or is 2.3.4 out yet?
And also has there been a final final stable version of Cynogenmod7 out for SGS too?
Thanks don't have time right now to search through threads since I'm out of the country.
cheers
Read the latest news on GSMArena. 2.3.3 is official current version from Kies

upgrade to which version for I5801 from android 2.1 - Eclair Version

Hi,
I have Samsung Galaxy 3 - I5801, with good exp of Android 2.1 - eclair version.
I want to upgrade it to next available higher version, which one should i go for it.. Froyo or which higher version which is available and supported to I5801.
Your help is required in this ...
Sumit
As of now only froyo is the upgrade option for us. If you are from India you can do it from Kies, but the latest version (JP4) has bugs in it, but is usable enough.
If you want to flash other roms, go through the roll up thread in the development section and you will know.
XXJPM,JPQ are few of the froyo upgardes for I5800 in europe, which will work fine with our phones also.
Go through the forum...its filled with info. If you need anymore help, do post.

Made it yesterday. No Problems at all. Came from CM9, flashed Stock HC, wiped cache and made a factory reset 3x. Finally flashed UK 7510 Version. Works well, apart from touchwize
It should. Since any other P7510 ROM, official and custom, works on the P7511 this shouldn't be any different.
So the p7500 firmware should also work on my p7501?

I think this should work also, due to the fact that the editions 7501 and 7511 are just reworked because of patent issues. If i'm not failling here.
Another question i got atm, will it be necessary to flash the final german edition once it will be avaivable? I mean, for what reason are there different firmware versions for the countries, if there wont be some differences in there...
And second, is it wrong to flash the future german version over the now existing UK edition, without wipe. Or is this absolutely necessary?

I think one side effect will be that About tablet ---> Model number = 7510 Not 7511 like every custom rom.
Maybe the difference in firmwares is a Samsung thing to locate their tabs.
If you flashed the British rom and you got no problems I don't think it's necessary to flash the German one.
British accent way cooler than German

The differences are normally to do with the bundled software, if you take the release for the 7500 for example, there is extra software specific to Italy in the hidden.img post of the ROM, but none for the other parts of Europe.
Certainly, if they come out roughly the same time, it's unlikely they will have differences that affect performance or stability.
I won't be switching ROMs when they release the 7500 ROM in the UK as there really won't be any need.

I did it. I flashed the P7500 version via odin on my P7501. It works perfect. Even german language was activated on first boot, so I didn't need to switch.
So I think, if the uk version for p7510 is working on your P7511, there's no need to install a special german version.

Allright then, will keep my little bobby with the uk version until a stable jb rom is available. Performance is as i know it allready from ics, but without crashes and so on. And the accent sounds really royal to me.
I also flashed the british rom to my P7511 and after 3 hours everything works fine
It's strange to see Samsung has not made official p7511 firmware (not even in Kies software) and you all have reported the p7510 firmware has no problems at all.
Perhaps p7511 is too small to make a new firmware for it, and thus less interest for Samsung.
Somehow Samsung is a bit stupid... Do they hate p7511 because Apple lawsuit in Germany?
I just got p7511 here with 64GB storage. Will use British p7510 firmware.
There are two sites knowning for firmwares:
- Samsung-updates.com
- Sammobile.com
Which one do you trust more or are both indeed trusted?
File size:
SU version: 430.651.652 (SFV: 196B54B5)
SM version: 430.650.477 (SFV: 17D3D859)
Not identical zip files, thus repacked zips.
The files inside are indentical in both zips.

Why would you want to go back to HC when there is the official ICS for the HK version H/W?
LA2 is the last official HC version for HK version H/W.

Hoping to upgrade a Canadian GT-N8010 to something newer than 4.1.2.

I'm new to the tablet upgrade process and I'm looking for guidance.
Details...
- GT-N8010 purchased in Canada
- I believe the Android version is 4.1.2 (Have to check)
- Can't update certain apps as a newer Android version is required
- I don't believe I need a version greater than 4.4.2, but I'm willing to upgrade even higher if the firmware is stable.
Can someone explain to me in layman's terms, what I need to do to improve the usability of this tablet with a newer version of the Android OS?
For example,...
What info besides GT-N8010 and 4.1.2 do I need from my tablet to ensure it is compatible with a newer Android version?
Can purchased Play Store apps compatible with the newer version be downloaded and installed in the same typical fashion?
Are there any potential country or localization issues where general usability and apps are concerned?
Did I miss anything?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Steve.
No response? The tablet worksgreat just the android version is too old. Damn capitalism
Does not help posting in the wrong section .
Look at the dates on the forum very few users on this old product .
sammobile updato or samsung-firmwares for stock firmware
