manila 2.1 to 2.5

Is it possible to make an upgrade manila from version 2.1 to 2.5? And how it is possible??

As far I know, its not possible, and the version needs to be cooked into the ROM.

how can i change my rom?? what advantages/disadvantages..?
and what forum should i actually be asking this?

Hi Everyone,
i flash my HTC touch HD with
Duttys HD WM6.5 Leo R5
Duttys HD WM6.5 Leo R6
XannyTech ROM GRID LEO 1.8 without HTC messaging
Xannytech ROM Grid LEO 1.7
and many ROMs
but i have same problem in each of then.
When i try to add new person to "HTC Favorite" Manila freezes
Can you help me?
For flashing i use HARDSPL 1,56

Well first off I tried all roms mentioned by yourself and never experienced this problem, so we can rule out those roms. You say you used HSPL 1.56, was it successful, i.e. does your SPL say SPL 1.56.Olinex in bootloader? Did you hard reset after flashing each rom? Did you test this on each rom before you started to add apps, setting changes etc. Did you perform a backup restore from another rom....this could have caused your problem.

I too have this problem and have done with all Miri roms since 7.1. All works fine but it is not locking on the 1st contact added it is the 4th 1 that seems to make it lock. I currently use 10.1 Miri and have left only 2 fav contacts to negate this problem. HELP!!!

Update manila 2.1 to 2.5/2.6?

i have a TP2 with Windows Mobile 6.5 and Manila 2.1. But i would like to make an Update to version 2.5 or 2.6.
Unfortunaly HTC gives not an official update and i need the original rom cause CoPilot
Can someone give me a cab of version 2.5 or 2.6? If it possible in German

srry so far there is no cab to upgrade with. if you want 2.5 you have to use a cooked rom. htc said they will be gettin a 2.1 to 2.5 upgrade just no time line.

I would use a cooked rom, but its realy hard to find a rom where copilot live is already installed or to find a cab of copilot.
There is an release of copilot on the htc site but there comes always a error if i want to download. "your device is not compatible"

You won't find Sense 2.5 in CAB form
However, this ROM has Sense 2.5 and CoPilot:

very funny! why don't you just download the CHT 1.8 and the Co0kies 1.8 and you are good to go!

The guys that develop the gtx "theme" are working on a version that will work with cht 1.8+ but they are waiting for the announced 1.85 release. Check out this thread:
