Latest Gmail App For Windows Mobile.

Hi All mates download gmail directly. from
Code:
http://m.google.com/app/v2.0.6/L1/gmail-g.jar
or find the attached file. and simply run.
Anyone get a screenie and a little feedback?
You can actually set up Gmail through TF3D though, right?
you can set up GMail in pocket outlook....
Yeah, that's what I thought, so I was wondering why you would want a seperate app for it...
This is a java application, that is not intended specifically for WM. So I think it is actually for java enabled dumb phones...
But this application has some advantages. If I refer to desktop PC, it is like using web address of gmail instead of configuring MS outlook. So you can use gmail web interface if you find it more useful.
Also you have access to ALL emails via the gmail app, not just the last 5 days or howevery ou have set it up.
This isnt really new, its been out awhile.. Major bug I have with it is that the timezone for my emails is different from my phone, so it says I recieved a new message 5 hours into the future. I posted on Google Mobile Help, but Google doesnt seem to give a ****. Wish they had a good REAL WM Gmail app. Using Pocket Outlook sucks for gmail as well

dont think so... searched gmail/google. culdnt find anything
You are the best, that gmail 2.0.6 you've attached works perfect and really fast on my SonyEricsson XPERIA X1 (WM 6.1), but download link from google site don't work. Maybe they've relocated it.
I dont see the point unless you need activesync for a different email account.

cant sync with outlook on win 7 using htc sync

searched to no avail so now I will ask. I have the latest htc sync app and it doesnt see my evo when I plug it in. tip said to run it as admin in win 7 but then what happens is after about 5 minutes you get a message that says it couldnt create a device manager instance or something like that. this is the version ending in .35 which is the latest and from what I have googled its hit or miss on this app. is there a better way to sync to the desktop preferably for free with my outlook or do we just wait for htc or for ms to create a driver for the evo 4? if there is one could you point me and anyone else with this issue to the fix/driver?

[ SOLVED ] sync all hotmail folders ???

So I have a question that I hope you guys can help with. I have a HOTMAIL account and can't sync all my folders. I can only access : Inbox, Trash, Sent, Drafts, and Outbox. I have a lot more folders than that, and need access to them. Anyone know how to sync the rest of them?
SOLVED
After lot's of searching I found the answer on droidforums. Hope this helps everyone. Followed these instructions, and works like a charm . Here's the link : http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...s/76104-hotmail-android-finally-good-way.html
EDIT : When doing these instructions you have to leave the Domain name BLANK.
I don't use hotmail I'm sorry :\ there is nothing in the settings of the app to help or either on phone goto Settings>Accounts & Sync then the hotmail app should be there with a few options..just a shot in the dark..like I said I don't use it but that's my best guess

activesync on wp7

i know wp7 does not support activesync, however i still not to carry wm6.5because i have a password manager that can synchronize between pc and phone.
i am not comfortable to store the password file into skydrive though marketplace has some application that has such cspability.
is there any workaround to address wm6.5 password manager?

Nope, not yet an not likely, WP7 just isnt designed for direct sync, other than Music, vids and pics via zune, i think it was done like this to make it as simple as possible which suites joe public more.
never say never tho, but its highly unlikely
I dont know that program so i dont know if this is possible, but if your not keen on syncing with sky drive you could just bounce a file back and forth via email
file sync is a pain in ass.
for instsnce, you change credit card A' information on phone side, and change credit card B' information on computer side. file sync is totally not possible. only wallet based activesync can address such issue.

Not really, use sky drive or keep it all on email, I can access any file I need anywhere on any device, usually I use email, put a weird string in theheader an have your email filter it too a different folder

your willing to store them on a phone, its a lot more likely that someone will get ahold of your phone than access your email, even storing on your home computer isnt good, key loggers, trojans unauth physical access, if these passwords are so important that they cant be stored in a properly secured email then you shouldnt be storing passwords anywhere, its asking for trouble
in my opinion

[Q] New in Android + OWA - Mail App

Hi Guys!!
Bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.. After being using iphone since the first one..
So far the transaction has been ok even though I'm completed out once when you guys talk about Roms, Kernel etc... I knew how to jailbreak etc but once I'm new on this android world, can someone help me and give me the basics?
Can someone please also mention to me the best website to download apps for free?
The 2nd thing that I would need your help with is something that actually has an high importance for me.. In the iPhone I was using an app that had the name Inbox Pro and that help me to connect and arrange the emails by synchronizing with my company owa website.. Basically at first I would log in manually.. Then it saved the details and all the times that I was then opening the application, would synchronize automatically without the need of inserting my domain, username, password... And also it arranged the email in a very , user-friendly way, just like the email app that comes with the iOS...
Well, after searched in the google play, found this : Outlook Mobile Access Lite OWA
I did download and paid for it.. But is not working!!! Can't synchronize.. I don't waste more of my money for nothing..
Anyone that can help me with this?
Regards,
JV
Please try touchdown app for email. It can connect to your email exchange server.
Tried and tested.

Hi!
My website is owa.marriott.com
So, there are different steps.. First I have to select Generic or Individual log in... Then insert the email.. Then page domain/username and password...So 3 steps are involved.. this is why not easy to find an app to do this.. In box pro did it...
The Outlook Mobile Access Lite OWA doesn't let me after the page i have to insert the email.. When i insert the email to proceed, click submit but doesn't move...
Touchdown didn't work too.. should be one that I can manually log in.. then would save the details...
Any help solution please?
Please find attached pictures so you can see the 3 steps I have to follow any time i need to log in...
Please help..
JV
The stock E-Mail App that comes with the phone (E-Mail) has Exchange Support and works perfectly fine for me. I used it with Exchange 2010 and am now using it with two 2013 accounts.
Go to settings, rightmost tab, accounts, add account, choose Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, then proceed with your login and password and possibly servername etc.
