Hi guys, I am new to this and I have been reading around, right now I am using -=MDJ FroYo HD v.4.6=-[FRG83D][kernel:MDJ S8.0] from SD but last days it has been so unstable , just today I rebooted like 8 times and my phone is still crashing after a couple of mins when android is loaded. So I am planning to format my sd and reinstall again.
Right now I have all backed up with Titanium app, so here is my question:
Since I am no expert (and non english speaker btw) do you recommend me to install again the same android build? or maybe install another one?
Thing is I have been reading that NAND builds (Android/WP7) are kinda unstable right now, so I am kinda afraid to move from SD to NAND, I am not really interested in WM 6.5 but I don't wanna harm my device.
So, any tips out there? Please include links, I appreciate it. Thanks

"Tytung's" builds, in my opinion, are the best; whether its and SD/NAND/GINGERBREAD Build. Check my thread link in my signature for info on all three.
i can recommend the new hyperdroid nand.
Another vote for tytung's build. I have nand nexus froyo 1.9b installed on my phone, only had once the phone didn't respond after stand-by. Also the charging bug because of magldr (but that's with every nand rom). It's my daily build and I love it.
Ok I think I will give the NexusHD2 build a try...
It is so confusing because I am a starter... but I will keep reading.
Thanks
Ive been reading for 2 days why i cant run the new roms such as hyperdroid and cm7. Just a week ago i switched to a wm7 rom just to check it out (lame). I decided to switch back task 29ed, installed magdlr and clockwerk and i try to install and of the newest roms such as typhoon cm7 or hyperdroid i get nand failed. But for some reason i can install roms such as newbie forum rom and nexushd2 roms. Any pointers for a rommer since my htc wizard that cant figure this out???

Mate, your problems are the same as I had in the last couple weeks
Just like you, sometime I can flash sometime I cant.
then, somebody here (xda devs) advised me to use cLK method to know what is going on during flashing.
Eventually, I found that I cant flash or boot fails due to the existence of certain badblocks in the NAND.
Now, in order to avoid further problem, I restrain my self from flashing
It is worth trying cLK way, give more knowledge about different flashing methods
Cheers
Hi Guys,
Hope someone can help me understand step in moving between WP7 to NAND android and back to WP7.
I love the devs which come out and constantly change my roms and and currently have WP7 nand and SD android which is great but I'm falling in love with using android compared to WP7
So I want to flash a NAND android using CLK but I want to know can I go back to WP7 at a later stage, meaning can i uninstall and remove the partitions that CLK creates.
I won't install CLK if the partitions are going to be permanent which will restrict it's flexibility.
I have been using WinMo since the first XDA hit the UK market almost 10 years go and I want to go back to WP7 when it matures a little bit with features and the bugs from zune are gone and probably when mango comes out .... and hopefully the very capable DFT do what thier best at
Can anyone help with some information. And in case you are wondering I have digging for this information through the forums and haven't been lucky to have an understanding on the partitions restoring bit ....
Thankyou in advance
Hi,
Please refer to my sig... Guide number 2.
You can post there as well, if you have any difficulties.
You can always revert back by flashing a stock ROM, and undo any bootloader you install.

Hi,
Before ICS i tried a few ROMs, but any CM based ones would not boot for me, but I didn't give it much though and went with BoxmaX Sense builds.
Now it seems I have no choice, as all ICS builds are CM based, and none boot for me. Though Ankuchs beta build were working fine up to ICS-Beta7-build14
I tried a few sd cards formatted correctly, but still no go.
I have no clue what's the problem and I'd appreciate if you'd help out with some suggestions.
Using
HARDWARE: HTC HD2
ROM WM6: Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jul.04
ROM ANDROID: BoxmaX_KS.6.5.SD.Tyr5
RADIO: Radio_Leo_2.15.50.14
I'm using Haret to boot Android, IDK if that is a problem, but I'm really out of ideas.
AFAIK Magldr won't work with WinMo.
*bump*
Please give me some suggestions?
so you mean to say you are still Booting from WinMo to SD Android? there are a few versions of ICS out threre that you could try & not only CM ones.

will you consider an ICS on Nand? off course getting rid of w6.5

Yes I'm still booting from WM 6.5 using Haret through excelers loader. I want to keep android on the SD card for a billion reasons, the major being easy recovery of all data if the phone dies.
I was gonna try Windows Phone, but it holds no interest for me. I did try a lot of builds, but as I told you CM build just won't boot and I have no frigging idea why and how could I fix it?
Ankuchs was the only ICS build that booted for me.
Oh finally, it was a kernel thing.
Tytung and dormanx kernels don't work for me.
5.3 ultimate does though!
how come none of the ICS 4.0 works but all 2.3 works? did it flash the wrong MAGDLR and HSPL or something? all 2.3 takes 3 minutes to boo. but all ICS are passing 1 hour and it's still not booting 4.0
Hey folks,
im looking for an GB based MIUI Rom NativeSD, installed with MAGLDR, because Ive trouble to get NAND Roms to work properly (errors about not enough space or gapps are disappearing after rebooting the phone). Can anybody help me either to get them to work or to find an appropriate rom?
Would be great if anybody can help me.
Best regards
