I'm Using Stock! This will increase the brightness?

you can only edit hw_config.sh if your rooted.
If you are, use root explorer and find this file on /system/etc/

Thanks Can you post what to change? do i delete all als? please give me an example of how it should be......i'll post my results!

Umm its hard to explain. If you look at the very 1st line, you will see that only the 1st _als is removed and no others. Im now using a custom rom so will look a bit different, bust still works the same

I knew that much, but I didn't know which field controlled MOD/ROM version. Either way, I've replaced my stock prop.build with one from the ROM build. It's working great, and I appreciate your help.

[Q] How to calibrate the Touch Screen on custom rom

Got this phone from a friend and according to the software version it's running Gingerbread, on boot it's telling me it's Swift Droid, Cyanogen mod 7..
I'm very new to all this so I have no clue what this means but the touch screen is off calibration and I can't find the option to recalibrate it..

How do you install FPS Uncap in xrecovery and build.prop and S97ramscript. For X10 2.3.3 rooted
1. just flash FPS uncap zip from xrecovery.
2. duh!!
3.install root explorer.Go to system/etc/init.d
copy S97ramscript in init.d folder.Set permissions i.e mark all.Reebot.
NOTE:
If u don't hve init.d folder, create it and then paste S97ramscript file in that folder.Don't forget to set permissions.

you have so many questions,
1. back up your current rom when modifying some stuff, using xrec you can revert back.
2. tell us hows the battery life . its only you can answer your question.
3. every person using x10 uses our device in a different way.
4. don't believe what they say try it yourself..

[Tweak] |Best Battery Life|

All u have to do is rename it to batterytweak || copy it to system/init.d folder .
Tab and hold the file, tab permission and set permission to rwxr-xr-x || then reboot
Give a thanks if it helped you

Well i followed another tutorial on the same thing which was clearer and following that tutorial you could also see if it works.
It rewinds back to the default value, 200 and 500 even after the tweak and after editting files manually.
This tweak is from knzo..

if aroma doesnt respond to touchscreen, just use volume keys to navigate and home to select,(as if you were in xrecovery).
so, i tried it a long time, it seemed to work, but for sure not on stock rom, cause stock kernel doesnt seem to support init. scripts (i wouldnt swear on that)
it should work on stock based roms with another kernel (doom, fera)
