how to get hd games working on blade?
i have a gen 2
i have tried nfs shift and real football they both work well with very little lag.
my blade is unrooted and 2.2(official).
i tried gangstar west coast hustle and it gives me an error video can not be played
NOVA gives me a black screen with gameplay sound.
any help?
Go download Dead Space and Modern Combat: Sandstorm
the problem with these games is that the intro video is 854x480 which blade cannot play
can anyone try this and test the game if it works.

Try Gangstar Miami Vindication, GT Racing HD. works perfect but bit lagging on my Dell XCD35 stock rom 2.2. Dead Space also working.

tested ashalt,letsgolf old editions, asphalt 50/50 letsgolf messed up gfx..
all new HD editions not compatible..(at least the 4 i tried)
The main reason for that is probably texture compression.
We have two mayjor GPU brands on Android these days Qualcomm (Adreno) and PowerVR, both use proprietary texture compression algorithms, which are not supported on Nvidia chipsets.
Simply compare the OpenGL extensions for HTC Desire HD (Adreno), Samsung Galaxy S (PowerVR) with the Folio.
However as many Tegra tablets are anounced (and at leaste the Xoom will get some attention I think) this should change in the future.
Today I did a test with avatar. Result blank screen and back to the desk .jj
I download Earthworm Jim and is working fine!
I have graphic's problems with Gangstar West Coast.
Any solution?

I read somewhere that Nvidia has been talking to Gameloft so they will support Tegra 2. So perhaps we will see more Gameloft games supporting the platform in the near future.

they just need to make it official, so expect something around 24th feb. when XOOM gets out in US, then gameloft probably will follow quickly and we get our tegra2 games, and the tegra online games app from nvidia to help us locate them.
I saw a demo of dungeon hunter on a phone and a tablet (tegra 2 platform) and it look very nice. I only hope it have android froyo 2.2 support.
I own an ipod touch (last generation, the one with camera) and the game is awesome, imagine that with tegra .

actually, i tried the Dungeon Hunter 2 as well as the Sacred Odyssey, both of them cannot run...just closed after a blan screen.....

Ive tested eternal legacy and I have some grafic issues
I cant see the player model, and there is some kind of problem with lights cose in some places i cant see a ****.
Same problem with dungeon hunter is too dark in some places... and no i havent turned of fthe bright

Anyone tried Gamelofts big games ex nova 3 mc4 amazing spider man and games like real racing 3 nfs most wanted gta 3 vice city, do these games have smooth with the full graphics like on ios devices, since it does have powervr sgx 544? Would it be wise to buy this tablet solely for gaming? I know there is N7 but i heard/seen lots of gamelofts top games perform poorly on it due to optimization.

Most Gameloft games I have (have a number of them and I haven't tried installing them all, so going with 'most') give me the 'Device not compatible' error - both stock and cm. Also, Gameloft really pisses me off because they remove back-catalog games to force you to purchase the newer versions (like Asphalt 5, original Modern Combat & Dungeon Hunter, etc in case you have those).
GTA games run great. Haven't ever tried IOS, but they run full quality and 60fps smooth w/ the nook. Same w/ EA games, all work fine.
I have tried Nova 3, MW3, both GTAs, NFSMW and NBA 2013 and all play fairly smooth.
Asphalt 7 though plays, but not smooth. Seems a lazy port since NFSMW and the other "busy" games play smooth.

All I notice is the game is not smooth like my other device or the iPad 4. All graphics seem in tact, but uninstalled. If it was missing stuff, it would have been even less smooth with it.
Just so you know I tried order and chaos hoping it would look great, bit they have gimped the effects and draw distance and it looks rubbish...

Tried asphalt 7, unplayable, Spiderman looks terrible, tdkr low fps but semi playable...nooks not the greatest for games from gamecrap ...awesome screen for 1080p anime though =)

Anybody try and playing with the build.prop so Gameloft's games install, and installing Chainfire3D to make them work?
Used to do this on my old Allwinner A10 tablet, and it worked for some games, but its been awhile.

Most of these can be considered as heavy games and have good graphics.
Most of the big heavy games out there run but have very bad graphics.. so maybe it's time to start oc'ing the cpu and gpu for gamers .
Also most games have very bad stock graphics so games like nova, asphalt, nfs mw, modern combat, gangstar vegas, dead trigger can be modded to have better graphics with no lag. Just search for them on google.
