Genuine Samsung Omnia 7 battery ? - Omnia 7 General

Anyone know a good source of new genuine Samsung batteries in the UK or Europe preferably, for the Omnia 7.
Samsung in the UK do not seem to be able to supply a new one, which I find completely amazing (how do they cover warranty repairs ?) and I can only seem to find 14 day return items on e-bay or similar, which are not very new !!!!! I was sold a battery which was 18 months old....
It is possible to buy new branded items, but I would prefer a genuine new item....
The batteries are dated so it's easy to tell how old they are.....
Thanks

[Q] Nexus 7 Repair question

Hi I would like peoples opinions please. My nexus 7 has annoyingly developed a charging fault and as it is now 13 months old it is out of warranty. It seems hard to source parts for it and as I am not sure whether it is the battery of the usb charging port that is faulty, I suppose I would have to send it to Asus for them to diagnose the fault and quote a price to repair it.
My thinking is that it is probably not worth paying for a repair to a 13 month old device when I could buy a new one. As I am in the uk I would presume the price for a repair would be at least £75 depending on what the fault is.
Forgot to mention that I have tried all the fixes for battery and charging problems and could easily fit a new battery( if I could find one in the uk) but as I said before I am not sure what the problem is it could be the usb port is faulty.
Has any of you in the UK had a Nexus 7 repaired and what did you pay if it was out of warranty
Cheers

[Q] Is this price possible?

I am really big fan of HTC HD2, but I still get tired with my old Omnia i900. Yesterday searching the Internet I found HD2 in very strange price - 567 PLN (about 185 USD). And my question is: should I try and buy this one or look for any more expensive? Should I trust this seller?
As device is 4yrs old that price is possible for old stock, I buy them around 90USD for 100% working clean examples with void stickers still present ...
Hm... I forgot to write it's completely new. So it is really, really strange.
I can buy new old stock for about same here in Thailand, seems about right to me. At HD2s age you get no HTC warranty & it is old hat hardware by today's standard, they need clear them & HD2 demand is not so high these days so prices have fallen.
So do you think I should buy this one?
No idea as not seen the retailers details, if has some form of buyer protection & return policy then might be worth it as buying used HD2's is only good if can be hands on with device prior to purchase as eBay etc are full of the sh1te used devices.
I sure would not want spend more on a new old stock 4yr old handset with known digitiser & bga failings.

I am not recommended you to buy this. Because i think it also old. You did not get same version from old version...
You'll try to buy an used item on ebay.. it's an old funny phone.. but I bought a Nexus 4 for that price!
great post

i am wondering anybody is still using this device today
I have still 2 HTC HD2 at home.
At the one the screen is broken and in the other the mainboard seems to have a problem.
Actually i wanted to join them. But since i have a Moto G, the HD2 is nearly completly out of my Head.
But i had really nice 4 years with this device.
Do you really want to spend this much money on such a old device?
I don't know. I would really recommend you not to do that.
If you are a dev, then it is maybe ok, but as a simple user...?
I think the times are nearly over or not? But if your money is falling out of your pocket
As i said did not follow HD2 since 5 months. I would reccomend you to buy a Brand new Moto G.
Google converted middel class Hardware phones to low class price phones. Excellent!
looks like a used phone to me.

[Q] new battery questions

hello guys. i have my nexus for 2 years now and i think it's time to replace the battery as i have no plans to upgrade in the next months.
so a few questions arises:
1. i read somewhere that if the battery is not used once in a while, it's life decreases. in that in mind does anybody knows what is the latest replacment battery production date for our phone?
2. do you know any eshop that sells original battery for our phone not from 2012? ebay sellers are not the most trustworthy bunch from my past experience so if you bought from a seller and is an original battery that wouls be great information.
3. if you have any 3d party batteries that you tested and are good feel free to suggest it.
thank you in advance

There is a battery thread in the accessories sub-forum.. I chose a battery based on peoples reports.

need help regarding new battery

guys the battery that came with my phone has started getting swelled. so i m thinkin of buyin a new battery for my phone
i tried searching the battery on ebay and i found a expensive one and a cheaper one
the expensive one is b600be series and comes in a samsung packaging (the one in my phone is also b600be)
the cheap one is b600bc series and comes in loose packaging and does not have nfc capabilty
also
although i dont want nfc and would like to save some bucks i am not sure if the b600bc one is original althouh the seller has mentioned it as original and also gives 6 months warranty . i found a plenty of top rated sellers which were selling the b600bc battery
any idea or suggestions regarding which one should i buy ?
Original Samsung batteries should have NFC. Only fake batteries don't have NFC.
Also, fake batteries tend to swell faster.
okay
thnx for the info i m gonna but the original one then.
