one could suspect that it would not be as smooth irl but cool anyway
Cool video. Maybe I should have waited.
Hi,
Thought you might like this: http://translate.google.com/transla...245/default.aspx&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=auto&tl=en
There area a couple of really great shots in that preview (yes, its a prototype model) and one thing to note are the pictures at the end of that page - which are apparently taken by the prototype Xperia's camera.
WHOA! - Check out the vide on that page!!! Is that an actual launched Xperia's unboxing video?!?!!??!?
The text in some places say prototype so i can't say for sure - google translator does a great job but sometimes it is hard to make sense of much stuff after translating.
UPDATE Definitely a prototype, after reading through the page, but contains a couple of cool pics.
Best Regards.
Just read thru this article, looks pretty sweet. There is also a youtube video where they show it in use. Makes me want it even more.
Even though I've been looking at every news article I can get my hands on (literally), I never even seen this mentioned anywhere before.
Surprised no one on here has mentioned this sweet app!

tl;dr the movie app gets demoed at 2:25
Yup, 3.0 seems like a major step in the right direction, especially in the tablet arena. Looking forward to discovering all the nooks and crannies over time with usage, the kind of details that aren't revealed in a quick hands-on.
Looks sweet, thanks for the link!
Thanks. I missed that video somehow. The movie editor is news to me. I look forward to being able to tinker with it.
I still search for and watch reviews of the Galaxy Note to see general opinion, but I completely skip unboxing videos now. They're 99% identical and there's almost nothing worse than a review by someone who has used the phone for oh..... 30 seconds.
I really don't understand why people keep making more and more unboxing videos when so many already exist.

I watched as many as I could find while I was waiting at my doorstep for FedEx to deliver my note. I have not watched one since. I would say there is a time and place for them.

Some people get off on them. I am not one of them.

Dont mind unboxing videos much. But what pisses me off is unboxing videos with preopened boxes. Whats the point if youve already opened the box before the video lol.
Side not, videos someone reviewing a product they dont own, showing pictures. That sh1t drives me crazy.
yes i agree with you. i like to see a good review starting with unboxing but there is no video like that. unbox it for 5 mintures review it for 1 minute this is how todays videos like
Well I do unboxing videoa of my own products. And I'm part of this unbox website in the Philippines. I own all devices because its a hobby of mine. Show some love!
I agree they are terrible
Can not stand them - I know I don't have to watch them, but seeing dozens of them in my search result really does piss me off. There should only be one for each major language spoken on earth. If you speak english and you can see there is another english unboxing video on U-tube, don't make another one!!!! I want to see the product, not "and here are the headphones, they're **** so I won't open them........ and here is some paper... hang on......................international warranty....... and here is a usb cable. This is the end where it plugs into the computer, the other end goes in here, um, where is it, er, not sure where it goes......................................................................Lets see what we have here...... wait a minute................................................. yeah, it's a battery. Oh I almost forgot................................. this is George, the postman who brought the package here this morning.............. If you're wondering why he's tied up and gagged, it's decause he didn't want to feature in this video................... but I said he had to, as I have to document everything, right from the beginning............. else it wouldn't be a proper unboxing video....................................................... Here we have the charger - looks cool - I like this charger............................... what does it say.............................................................................................................................................. can't read it............. Hope you enjoyed my product tour................ if you did......................... please subscribe........................ **Mmmph-urghhh**..... Shut it George".
Rant over.
Unboxing videos are a waste of time, maybe except the first one. Running few random games, benchmarks, interesting apps and talking briefly about some things that make this particular model stand out from the crowd is much more informative. But most ppl seem not to get it. I just wonder, who watches this crap, maybe they watch each others' unboxing videos???
I hate videos, period. I prefer reading an article about the gadget, backed up with a few screenshots.
Hello
I'm considering to buy GS3 or maybe wait for note2.
One thing that concern me when i tested GS3 in the store was that
it didnt play some of the clips on webpages where my iPhone did.
One ex is this :

Why is it that iOS can play this and not Android?
Appreciate if you guys can explain this.
Also how do you make the video clip float, it's a cool feature samsung added
Cheers
Maybe youtube client or flash plugin weren't installed. but if you install these you can play all w/o problems of any sort

Beacause Youtube app would not have been installed...it plays fine on my GS3...GS3 will play anything and everything (at least AFAIK)..
When it comes to other fileformat yes i know Samsung is king (why i like Samsung to begin with :good: ) but this one i'm assuming was a youtube clip.
I'm confused since it did play a few other clips on other sites. I mean if youtube wasnt installed already it would not have played the others either.
@Zoot1: If i interpret your comment right you could play it just fine? (this is good news then)
AS to flash well iPhone doesnt have that so i'm assuming this is not flash related (i think).
ps. i wish Samsung would announce their note2, i have a reeeeally hard time resisting to buy this nice phone, the screen is so damn nice, everytime i use my iphone i want to run to the store and get me a GSIII but must resist until i see the Note2 hehe
Anyone else in the same boat as i?
