I just dl'ed GBA Player Lite from the android market. I am currently running CM7. Where do I put my ROMs? Just load them on the SD Card?
I only use Gameboid but I'm pretty sure you can put them where ever on your SD card. You might want to make a folder to keep them nice and organized.

I own an unbranded HTC Desire with Froyo installed & wondered, as Flash 10.1 is now installed, if there was any existing 'app' or other way I could now use to open swf games on it that I've used to date on my Archos?

If there is, that would be great.
On my Vibrant with Flash Lite 3.0 if I go through a file explorer and try to open a .swf file it prompts me to either open with the browser or with Flash Player... Try that
Thanks for the reply, but all I can get via the file explorer is the option to either open the swf as text, audio, video or image none of which will open any of the files.
If possible to try, do you know if Flash Lite 3.0 still available for download anywhere & would it install given I have Flash 10.1 as part of the build & all my earches for Flash Lite have come up with dead links? Thanks.
Also packing a Desire running 2.2 and I would like to find an application for this as well.
There's an swf player on the market.....

I have a question you know the new rom by gene poolie at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970272
I was wondering if it automatically transfers your app to the sd card or do I still need to manually adjust it

It looks like the HTC Froyo 2.2 implementation requires that you manually move your apps to the SD card. I don't see a setting to default to the SD card like they have in CM 6.1.1
thanks bud, that answers my question
An angry birds update auto installed to sd when originally it was on phone. I've manually moved others.

There are some apps that do it automatically. Angry birds is definitely one of them.

It works fine on my Void (2.2) , but its laggy, definitly not so smooth as a stock player or some players fotm the Market
Step 1
Download Android 3.0 Honeycomb Music Player APK app and save it on external SD card of your Android mobile.
Step 2
Now, navigate to Applications > Settings > Applications > and Turn ON Unknown sources.
Step 3
Download and install file manager, Super Manager from Android Market as its available for free.
Step 4
Open Super Manager(any file manager like astro, root explorer) > External_SD
Step 5
Your downloaded Honeycomb APK will be listed as Music, so tap on it to Install
Step 6
Now, simply open your music and enjoy with new Honeycomb player on your device.

i guess this should help in installing the music player
As someone said its laggy but I am right now on Megatron (2.2)
Wow! Now music player is even more cute. Tested with openOptimus 1.148(To release) beta,FrancoKernel11 + Smartass 729/480.
I gave it a try on Void Echo and though it works perfectly, I quite did not like it. I prefer PlayerPro or PowerAmp
Works nice on Void Echo? And was it smooth? On my Void it was laggy..
Works great on mik's CM7 6.42, no visible lag at all, must say the widget looks pretty average though.
Hmm hmm.. I will waint until everything will work on Miks CM and than I must flash it too
Hello,
i know that this is been ask alot for other phones.
But how can I get my Gameloft games to the external sd card?
I know there is a patch for samsung galaxy s2 but it don't works on my galaxy note.
The note stores the games in Android/data/asphalt6(or another game). so not the gameloft map.
i don't want to root my phone.
Thanks for helping me.
Best regards

not just gameloft ones...all game data...is it possible to do that?...
If we use app2sd apps will move to internal sdcard not onto the external one.
If someone know a solution let us know.
cheers!
Would be nice. I'm running out of room with all this game data on the internal sd

That will move them to internal sd, not external
If it was possible on the s2 then there must be a way to do it on the note. Whatever mod was used maybe someone can edit that app/mod to use the android/data on the external card. This should be easy for the right person

Yeah, tried SGS2 old trick with gamelofts games, too bad it doesnt works on Note too and really need move all gamedata to external card. 4 games takes up 4gb already and I havent started to try out emulator games yet.
Wish there is 32gb Note.
this same method works with NOTE also.
download "Auto_Patch_APK_for_Samsung_by_Duero__include_Java_" from fro SII forums and use the patched apps
working as i can confirm:
1) Asphalt 6 HD
2) Rainbow 6
3) brothers in arms 2 HD
4) splintercell HD
5) NOVA 2

Hmm..weird, tried that with Asphalt 6HD and it didnt worked for me. Gonna try it again and see then.
Has anyone tried "gl to sd" from market? Supposedly moves data to external sd card
GALAXY NOTE
if u dont want all that mess just simply copy the gameloft folder to external sd and use
create a script in script manager and set it to run on boot and the script will be
"mount -o bind "the new gl directory" "the old gl directory" "
without quotes
works like charm.

thanks .. working with galaxy note..
but need to redownload data again..
The patch does not work for me.
The easy way is to root your phone. everything is original you have only root and then use gl to sd.
I have 8 games now on my external sd and works perfect.
@smackdownn: do we need root for this?

yes u have to root because script manager needs root access
So you have to root in order to move the games over? I just moved several gameloft games over to sd including asphalt and bia2.
Is that normal?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
That is your phones memory the 16gb.
What we want is the game data on the external sd card.
Via root and gl to sd is it possible and via script manager (never tried that but sounds good!).
@ smackdownn: so i only have to download script manager and put your text in script manager? Sounds good.
Is there no bad side whit this method?
How will this work when we get ics?
