Well, after reading this post on wmpoweruser and confirmation from NewForce (Samsung Omnia 2 user), can somebody explane me does dumping the rom and porting this option will work on htc devices ?
Has anyone managed to get barcodezilla lite working on their hd2? Every time i adjust the quality/resolution settings it crashes and i havent had one successful id of a barcode yet!
If anyone has it working do you have any tips?

A colleague got his HD2 yesterday (was jealous of mine ) and installed it on his. We tested it on some barcodes around the office and it worked like a charm. So the answer to your first question is yes!
It doesn't crash for me at all, but I've not yet had a succesful scan of a barcode.
you need to install windows sql mobile....you will find the cab in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502771
I thought winsql mobile was only required for the full version and not the lite? That was the reason behind me installing the lite version
On the post the developer says:
Published a "Lite" version which doesn't need SQL Compact 3.5
But with this version you have to be online to be able to recognize products (no persistance) and you cannot add / edit and upload new items.
So if you dont get a hit with the lite version, had you a internet connection at the time
Is the latest software still 6.1 for this? Also is there and hacking like to run android or anything? I'm most familiar with Droid and droid x but this is new to me. Any help or directions would be appreciated, thank you.

but you also can find wm6.5.x roms for omnia 1 (i900)

Samsung Saga does not have any custom ROMs.
Will there be any cooked roms of windows phone 8 flavor for our omnia 8? Or it won't be possible?

I would like to know, if someone knows how can I install android on this motorola MC65, it has Windows Mobile 6.5, 1ghz single core qualcomm, and 1gb ram. I´m a developer so even a guide to cook my own rom (windows mobile) will work. Thanks

Hi, it has been a while since you posted your question but here I am today, attempting the same transition to Android on a MC65. Any chance your efforts proved successful? Thanks for sharing your tips.
