there is a posrt for XP (tablet edition) where you can find the drivers, just look or search for that post. and there is NO DRIVER yet for the touch screen .. so you'll need to recover vista if you want to use it as a tablet pc.

Can someone help me upgrade my HTC Touch Viva (Opal T2223) from Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5.3?
I've no knowledge of flashing however I am reading articles given in this forms: Click Here and will definitely be able to do it.
I am just tired of Windows 6.1 as it is very slow and hanging many times and consume too much battery.

first of all you must hard -spl your device
here is complete instruction:

and use CustomRUU ( if rom package only include .nbh file ) or run ROMUpdateUtility.exe ( in the rom package ) to install that
device must be connected to pc in sync mode

It's done, thanks a ton brother.
However the phone has a very slow startup now. Hope this would be resolved after a few boots...

Well good rom unlock excellent full touchexp erience works all apps advancedconfig 1.4 works remember all when you install 1.4 it now goes in main menu I found it there the only thing I miss is the install xap on phone through IE as in DFT roms but hey mere detail have you got any idear if thus will appear in you rom thanks again

Thank you my friends. I necessarily will open access to the installation of cab, when the time comes. I build ROM new tools and my the kitchen is in test mode. Patience my friends. No later than tomorrow, will be laid out new ROM ITEROP on the updated OEMAPPS Omega, also with the ability to update HTC Apps through the market.

Follow the advice of mwang on his profile. There is a lot of reading and studying to accomplish what you desire, but work hard enough and you may someday become a novice chef.

First, read everything here. If there were one simple utility to create Windows Phone 7 ROMs everyone would be creating their own. You have to learn to walk before you run, and the same goes for phone technology. DFT's site is in China, and there is a wealth of knowledge there, if you are adept in Chinese.
I got HTC HD mini that installed windows mobile 6.5 pro, default language is not English. It cant be changed to English. So i think i have to reinstall windows mobile 6.5 pro on my device. So please can u give me step by step guidance to reinstall the windows mobile pro 6.5 English version?
By the way, can i install android on this device? if yes, what is the latest android version that i can install to this device. also please be kind to give me step by step guidance to install it. Because i have never tried. Thanks..!
