how to install the lib? when i unzip it, have 2 folders in it. i'm using stock rom.
==========================================================
ok get it. this is how i did it. maybe someone have a better way.
install ES File Explorer
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop
install ROM Manager
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager
install 2ndinitdefy bootloader/recovery menu (SndInitDefy_2.0.apk)
http://www.defy-cm.net/tools/
open the zip file in ES File Explorer, it will ask if want to open with ROM Manager
phone will reboot with CWM and you can install zip there
set back default reboot to normal
reboot (using menu)
purchase total recall from market.

using Bluetooth, incoming call will record my voice only. outgoing call can record both.
any idea?
=========================
solved. using phonetapper (free) can record both side with and without bluetooth. didn't test with wired hands free.
use uplink in source.

[Q] Rom 1.19.2 sbf file

Hi
I want sbf file for motorola flipout rom 1.19.2. can any one please help me?
thanks
why do you need this file?
my solution is to load this file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=597FZEN3
and make the official motorola update for this italian rom to 1.19.2
rom
that is the rom for flipout fones in britain...and i think thats the original rom for that fone as well...i flashed my fone with a rom and now its not giving 3g reception n its only showing gprs...
i will try your solution too..and c wat happens...
anyway to fix 3g problem?
thanks
okay try it...but after the flash with italian rom you have qwerty layout. you can fix that with tuts here in the portal!
anyway to fix 3g you can use the app called flipoutrecovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=942160
and then you go to dexter´s site here:
http://dext3r.komodin.org/
at the end of that page are all basebands in a list. you have to load your baseband for your country. and save it on your sdcard
go to the app you installed before like it was written in the readme (install app, restart phone, open app, click install recovery system, click recovery boot, choose with vol. +- the option install zip file from sd ...enter with power button) and in this menue you have to choose the baseband zip file...
another way is to use the method with app called root explorer

Thanks alot...I will try your solutions

Stock File Manager - Droid X

I recently flashed Liquid Smooth 3.1 and I'm liking it so far, the only drawback is that it removes the stock DX File Manager, and doesn't offer one of its own. I'm using Astro now which isn't bad, but I still kinda want the original back. Can anyone direct me to the .apk file for it, or take the .apk from their system apps so I can have a copy?
Thanks.
Don't know if it'll simply install for you...
http://www.chadhaney.com/droidXDefault/4.5.602/
Might need to try manually moving it...
Changing permissions.
And I'm not sure what blur framework has been removed in this rom...but I'd assume you'll need some of it.
So you may be out of luck.
Didn't work, but I appreciate the help and that looks like a useful source.
Thanks
Have you just tired any other file managers. Like root explorer?
You could just use rom manager to download a stock rom. Then unzip it and goto system/apps and get the file manager app. Then use root explorer and put it in the same file on your phone and reboot or adb push.

Yes
Probably stupid, but did you check in Titanium Backup? If you were rooted stock and did a batch backup of all your apps before flashing, then it will definitely be there.
I personally prefer ES File Explorer over the Stock File manager and any other 3rd-Party apps...

[HOWTO] Install the new market 3.4.4 in your rom beta ICS

How we know we can find in xda the new market 3.4.4, and if you want put it in your rom ICS you need to do this if you can't install it as a normal apk:
The first thing you need to have Root Explorer
Download / Put the market in the SGS in the folder Download
Now we go in system/app and move the file Vending.apk in sdcard (root explorer must be in Mount R/O)
We come back in data/dalvik-cache and look for the file [email protected]@[email protected] and put it in sdcard, too
Now take the new market that you have in the folder Download (rename in Vending.apk) and move it in system/app
Press for a few seconds the file vending.apk
Select the option Permissions
Select / check the 3 boxes Read and the box write / Owner, the other boxes must be uncheck
Turn off your SGS
Now turn on your SGS and you have your new market working
Actually, u can just install like a normal apk... -.-
Anyway, thanks for ur kindness...

missing market on mikes rom

Just flashed mikes ics and i dont have any of the gapps icons in the menu
any help?
Re: APPS
Download this:
http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Put it in root of your sd card,go to recovery and go to flash or install update.zip
choose that zip file and then reboot, and that is it.
If that doesn't work then unzip that file on pc and go to system/app copy all or just apk's you want to sd card and use astro file manager to install it....
Say thanks if works....

Can any rom preinstall a file manager app?

Can any rom preinstall a file manager app? Some time i just flash the rom without gapps. No file manager app to open my sd card and inner sd card. So i have to flash gapps , download a file manager app(es file manager app,for example), sometime without network, I can not download the app.

1. Wrong section for such a generic question.
2. I believe that CyanogenMod comes with a file explorer (i could be mistaken however as I have not followed CM in quite some time)

You could use an .apk of a file explorer (ES file explorer, ASTRO...) in your SD card, it would solve the problem.
You can also do the same with Flashify app, which allow you to install boot images (boot.img that you can find at the root of your .zip archive) from your android !
