1. 2.3 has not been officially released for the Epic. We only have binary leaks, no source code.
2. The CM 7 team is waiting for the official release of 2.3 because the GPL requires Samsung to release the source code then.
The CM7 team needs the source code for the customized Epic kernel & drivers. They may need other source code poeces too.
tl:dr No, since they still do not have the needed source code.

Here's an answer - we can't probably get it until it's in CyanogenMod, and there's no promises that ICS will work on Magic/G1. So lets just wait until Google releases the source code and CM team can grab it - in the meantime, lets donate them some cash: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/donate

Hi to all our dear developers,
I have started this thread to ask who all are working on development of Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for ZTE Blade?
In case you need any support in testing the ROM, I would be more than happy to volunteer.
Best,
Yatin

the honeycomb sdk was compiled for arm v6, the ics sdk was compiled for arm v7. zte blades only have an arm v6 processor.
so, we need the source code so that it can be recompiled for our arm v6 phones. There's a little bit more to it than that, so don't expect ics for the blade on the same day as the source code is released, but we need the source code before we can start work on a blade version.
hopefully we'll get a working port of cm9 (which will be based on ics).

It did & it's already being worked on by one of the guys responsible for cm7 on the blade. It's still early & lots of problems so far, but it boots.

I do, but I think he's pretty busy. Last I heard there were still some big problems to fix, like audio.

once he's worked it out the source code for cm9 will be available, then you can use that.
using the aosp source code, once you have it booting there are still other problems to fix, like the touch screen, audio & ril.
everyone involved with cyanogenmod should be very busy fixing those problems, so it's best to leave them to it if you can't help them. they don't need to be bothered with questions.

NO ITS NOT! (not until the source drops, or we get a ota! )
Just to clear up the confusion

Your source? Please tell me it isn't the french image posted with no real source?
ok, so no full aosp roms...but what about customized stock roms?? You don't need source for that, do you? Can't we just get some roms built on stock 4.0.4 with some kang features? That's what I really want anyway. IME, stock roms are always more stable, and the customizations are a really nice addition
Ns4g got the 4.0.4 update! So the source is already out isnt it?
Or how is it possible that 4.0.4 based roms are out?

No the custom roms based on 4.0.4 are based on the leaked 4.0.4 build. NS4G didnt get the 4.0.4 update yet.

Yes, if you want a good rom. Otherwise, there's no much you can do other than change some of the packages.
LKernel sources have been released.
