Well, Im coming back Im dumping my my Triumph and evo, both are for sale. Im going to be using my smoked vibrant until the GN comes out. I can get it to boot with eugene373 JK2 odin. What Im asking is if some one can add in the xda app, and Pandora for some tunes. If you saw my other thread, then you know that I killed the internal and external storage, so I cant download anything. Can any of you guys help me out?
Can you transfer files? Computer to phone? But congrats. It's somewhat usable!

really? cool! why don't u post something that we don't know and stop creating useless post like this one and many others you have created.
Sounds like they just crapped out a Galaxy i9000 with a new wrapper.
Well good news is that once it's released you might start seeing some Gingerbread ports to the rest of the Galaxy S Line

Why are you so defensive about an upgrade to the Vibrant? Why are you so emotionally involved with your phone? Most important, why hasn't this thread been deleted?
Well guys my screen is really funny and it isn't working so I am going back to a small cheap AT&T Samsung phone.
I'm saving up for another Vibrant, I9000, or G2.
I'll be around, but not much.
Unless I fix my phone,no I'm not sending it to Samsung.
Okay guys cheers!
Good luck, see you soon

I am looking to flash a rom on to my phone and I have heard great things about cryogen. I looked at the community rom oage for the epic and noticed it said 90%. Anyone know what is not done or what it is missing and if it is stable.
Thank you

It's Cyanogenmod 7 and it's good enough for me. I'm running it right now. Broken things (as far as I know) include GPS, camera, and video playback. There may be more but I can't remember off the top of my head. Videos will play on websites via Flash Player, but youtube and mobile streams will not. These things should be fixed shortly after we get kernel source for Gingerbread. *Crosses fingers*
Also, for future reference, post questions in the Q&A section. It keeps the Dev section cleaner and keeps the whiners quiet.

Many of you know my drama with my Vibrant (I don't have one currently).
I am very happy to report I am getting a replacement, thanks to @SamsungJohn.
Read about it here: http://callip.wordpress.com/
Also, check out XDA user, oka1 - who sent me his phone to use in the interim. Wow.
So, so happy to be a small part of this amazing community - Thank you!!
Congratulations!!! Welcome back! I'm surprised they just sent you a vibrant straight up. Maybe you should ask them about gingerbread as well

Apparently the USB connector in his Vibrant broke, he was unable to charge.
I am wondering if it is possible for me to get all the ringtones from my last device, Nexus S 4G, for use on my Galaxy Note. I had over six notification noises for people and emails and it would make life easier if I didn't have to get used to new noises all over again.
tl;dr Can I get the stock Nexus S ringtones on my ATT Galaxy Note?
If yes, can someone get them to me?
Thank you.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Sure you can. Just download a stock(ish) ROM and grab the ringtones from /system/media/audio
I would copy them to PC then transfer to new phone.

I love it. Lots of real estate to work with. I use the pen more than I thought I would. I wear tight slim straight Levis and it fits in my pockets fine.
Love every second of using it.

Highly doubt it.
Do you have a notification called Pollux? It's my SMS notification from NS4G.
If you do they're probably the same.
