What? Its using OMAP4460 as the processor and AFAIK, that processor uses SGH940 or something like that as its GPU. If what the info I read was correct though.

If you read carefully Gingerbread is a Nexus exclusive..
The Legend will get its own version called "BlackCat" made originally for the black Legend..

I had a crack at putting the Gingerbread ROM found in the SDK on the Legend. It boot looped, something to do with audio. I'll try again another time. I don't think it's worth it though.

I'm pretty happy to see that Samsung is working on it. We already have some decent leaks so I'm not complaining.
Evo users actually get it on the 3rd if they hit the check for update button. It starts automatically on the 6th.

Isn't this true since gb is optimized for our processor, wouldn't it be like us getting froyo(speed wise) for them with gb? Or will our version of it just run smoother? Just a thought I'm probably way off.

it is not compatible for me either. my guess is that the app is somehow compatible with the p500s in india (ive read that the p500s in india have true flash but i am not sure)

Thanks it funny because I am with Sprint 3 lines and would never go to ATT because it is so expensive for what you get. I wanted the phone so bad that I got it anyway despite all of my rationalization that suggested otherwise. Its my Christmas gift to myself...damn it...i never get anything for Christmas...I give to everyone else.....that's my story and I am sticking to it. I upgrade my phones every 3 months or as soons as something new come out. I just have a feeling that with all the quad core and HD phones around the near corner, it is still highly unlikely that we will see a 5.3 HD screen again anytime soon.

Yeah you won't be dissapointed it's awesome. Just don't be surprised if "regular" sized phones don't hold much appeal to you going forward. A day after getting my note my 4" Atrix became unbearable to use
