The screen rotation time is quite long. I mean 2 seconds.
I update from Froyo 2.2 to Kratos.

i noticed a problem with the camera app
whenever i open the X1's camera..the first time..there is no view..its all blank screen...then i close it and restart..and then only i have the view.
what is this bug?

I think it's just some bug, never thought of making a thread myself though.
This happens to me to. every time I start the camera, the viewfinder is black. I have to close the app and restart it. This happens in both the old and new UK ROM
This has started happening to me since i updated to the newest version of angeluz x1 widescreen mode for touchflo 3d :\.
I had this problem once in a while, with R1A GENERIC UK ROM.
But not every time. Maybe 1 of 5 camera starts.
I've had R2A for a week now and so far so good - no blank starts.
I had the same problem with the R1 ROM, and still have it with official R2 ROM :/.
No biggie though.. I just exit and start it again.
I have this problem, dunno if this helps find the cause, but try to turn on led does nt work.
one time i tried over 5 times until view come on.
Updating the firmware fixed the problem for me.
never had the problem, but it's probably going to happen sooner or later =[
maybe you have heavy program running background?

Is it similar to the problem that is fixed by this HTC patch ?

If it is, be warned that this patch fixes the freeze problem, but it adds an even bigger bug (phone calls gets blank for a few seconds sometimes).
No, it's no freeze issue. Actually i think it's a problem that exists with every HD device.. If you compare teeter with iphones labyrinth game you will se that HD's screen is more choppy and laggy.

Its quite hard to notice the lag but just compare the iphone against it and ull see. I think many would like a fix for this if there were any available

Wow...now that you mention this, i have this problem since i've installed this fix a few days ago.
It takes some time until i'm getting the call.
Okay so noone else but me is interested in a fix for this? I thought many would like the fix to happen
i am interested.. my screen stutters / tears at times too.. for example scrolling fast thru my icons in Program.
overall phone not very responsive.. kinda like a low mem windows xp pc kind of feel..
Right well my rotation in other apps seems to last a few days after a rom hard reset. Then it disappears. But it has a side affect....
I now get 360 degree rotation (in some apps) ie i turn it upside down and it rotates to it?!?! Now that is not intended. Does anyone else have this? Or have a clue as how to solve it... I would be grateful as i kind of liked the rotation factor.
Also happened on my old 1.43 rom and now on the 1.72 rom...

I have the same issue! I just updated my TMOUS and a few days after I noticedd my SMS wasn't rotating however I cann do 360 in Opera now cool but not cool!
When i play games with latest update 3.0 sense and 2.3.5 when u press 1 button like
walk forward then u press turn left, it all stops. only 1 thing works at the time.
sorry 4 unclear english but multi touch used to be 4 fingers. now its 3 fingers?

UPDATE: Rebooting device fixed this problem! well it did not fix the cirkle locker thing but..games are good now...
UPDATE: The Bug is back! Wtf is going on? rebooting fixes it fow little while but is strikes back very fast! and agains 3 multitocuh on antutu tester.?
Fixed: Hard reset fixed this issue, Now all is fine!
If your still interested it was probably a custom lock screen. Like go locker or lockbot.
I am having this exact same issue (also reported at androidforums.com/desire-hd-support-troubleshooting/470923-issues-following-update-2-3-5-a.html) - and I don't have any custom lock screen installed
hard reset fixes all issues.

This thing happend when i update to lollipop...
the screen flickering so crazy..
at first it was only the softbutton
but then its about 15% of the screen become unstable (?) and shaking up and down
so i tried to flash stock rom
i flash about 3 times
first and second time makes the screen even wilder (?)
40 % of the screen now flickeringg
and after the third flash, the screen only 20 % that is not frezze
the rest is freezing
but the touchscreen works fine
now i really don't know what to do
please help guys...
