Just wondering how it is compared to other roms? Im currently using stock 360,.which seems pretty good, however its not gingerbread!!!
Thanks

Its probably not as good but its good enough for some gingerbread. I get over 24 hrs by using autostarts to prevent apps from starting.

Battery life is very good I think it's like BETA2 it's been 1 day and 7 hours and I have 40% battery left with (1 hour off phone calls,20 minutes online anime , another 20-minute games, web surfing about 20 minutes).
Its great until you actually use it. Standby literally wont move the percentage but the second you go on browser or any game, better have a charger close to you

My experience over the last 2 days has been exactly the same as greakunit690on GingerStreak 2.4.2.2
Going to upgrade to 2.4.3 tonight, and hoping it gets a little better with a working GPS. I am very, very happy with the performance so far though.

Haha good one, whats that like 5 hours
On topic however i never get more than 72 hours b4 the phone either the market stops working or the menus lag up a bit then i restart it and then it's all fine.
My phone is rooted, with no real mods yet...
i can get up to 10 days, advanced taks killer does its job sometimes market forcecloses but it instantly comes back and works perfect. 2.1 generic with oneclick

I reboot once every 4 to 5 hours, I think I have OCD... just reboot for the hell of it.
I got like 2 weeks once...LOL
with 1.6 over 40 Days
I have one trick, name "Fast Reboot" (Android Market App) helped with menus lag and others
with 2.1 no stats for now because of: JIT, Optimiser, 2.1 Custom rom etc
just a weekend xD
use a lot of apps so they drain my battery really fast and sometimes it kinda overheat
Record is 214 hours, by that time the phone was slow as hell..
But that's on 1.6, trying to beak the record on 2.1
How you get those numbers!!! I can't even pass the 30 hours barrier I got a x10a with x10i firmware and rooted no hardcore mods
Please put more tips or how you get over 200 hours
Thanks

They're not talking about battery life.
If you're using the phone normally, there shouldn't be a reason to reboot unless you feel like cleaning out the RAM and starting fresh or there's something that can't be forced closed. With my old phone, I'd go months without turning it off. No reason to.
Oh I get it
Thanks
Btw can't remember when was the last time I reboot
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
Currently my uptime on 2.1 is 329 hours (not needed to reboot it since the initial upgrade to 2.1, still running prett snappily !)
Most interesting is the battery life, currently 48.5 hours and still 29% of battery life !!!! And that is with GPS, 3G, Pop email and widgets all running plus just played a 30 minute session of Angry Birds !
on 277 now.
but I reckon its.time to think about loading a custom Rom tho.
let's support the hard work.

Dude, there are like three complete threads here with solutions to battery problems. Why did you create another one?
Two of them are in the very same section where you created this thread.
Solution to your battery life woes can be had by putting your sim back inyour iphone. The atrix and instructions to use this forum seem to be above your level of using technology. Btw, my battery life has been awesome.
I voided my warranty.
Dude seriously if you battery sucks its because you dont know how to use the phone properly i get 15-24 hours with heavy texting facebook and browsing you dont need to complain about somthing its your own issue creating another thread is useless post up on the others not here

If you aren't comfortable flashing a new rom and/or freezing system apps, give the "2x battery" app a try. It certainly is an improvement to the stock battery life.
I really want to flash one but the program I need to install on my cpu won't install... I keep getting error msgs and no one has been able to give me a solution why yet.
I used to have an htc fuze and flashed roms almost daily so I have the knowledge but my machine isn't cooperating with the needed download to unlock.
Ill try the 2x battery, thank you for the help.

Could not disagree more. On my stock Atrix, I was getting just over 2 days usage (not just leaving the phone on the table) pretty consistently. Rooted and GB rom now, am getting a day and a half but am probably just getting the battery and rom used to each other lol
I don't get it, I had 80% 2 hours ago then went to 70% powered off and on and now I have 80% again?

Bang on man! think my worst case I have burned through a whole battery in a 4-5hours (chroot vnc gps etc) you know what though, it's not an iphone carry a spare!!! have a charger, have a battery pack charger, have a car charger!
the slightly more worrying factor for me is the power draw of some apps being greater than the draw on car charge.
I-on road for example probably the only truely useful AR app but V. battery intensive (gps and camera on full time go figure)

This has probably been asked a million times but I have searched for an hour and cant seem to find exactly what I am looking for. I reset my battery stats because my battery life has been horrible the last week. My phone now says fully charged but the meter only shows 92. Should I let it die completely and recharge completely and then it will be fixed or will it just do the same thing? I am on ICS passion 10.6 if that makes a differnece. Ill be getting a slim 220o mah battery next week but this is still annoying me. I work 10+ hours a day and text my wife a lot and im only getting 13 hrs on the battery. About 100 texts, 30 min of web and I get auto updates via craigslist notification. GPS and wi-fi are off and my sync settings are for 1 time per day. Thanks all!
13 hours is pretty good. also, read this: https://plus.google.com/u/0/105051985738280261832/posts/FV3LVtdVxPT

Try downloading "Battery Calibration" from the Market. When your battery reaches the max charge that you see possible, calibrate it, and reset your phone. Always works for me.

Thanks. That's where I got all my info before I switched to CM9. After week of using it, I'm switching back to stock. The main reason is because the battery life sucks even with all syncing off and touch sounds and a few other things done to try to conserve battery.
My battery was at 40% when I left work yesterday with only light Facebook and web browsing.
Also some apps not working very good on it is another reason I'm switching back.

yeah, wizard's MIUI has been the best for awhile now in terms of great battery life and full functionality. i've tried the ICS roms out there for the droidx but battery life was abysmal. i like having the latest android system but not if you have to trade great battery life for poor battery life.
I am running cm9 with a build date of April 24th (build number: IMM76D).
And i love it. It is super fast. the only complaint i have is that when long pressing home to get to the recent apps list it takes about 1-2 secs. Other than that its great. everything works except video (sometimes) and panoramic shots. the battery life isnt too bad. but i have had bad battery problems for a while.
