I've been searching for a while now, I need some advice I am about to purchase my own sgs2 and I wanna know what accessories are beat for starting off? Is a screen protector really nessacary? What case is nice? Etc.. I've heard alot about ghost armor and I would get it so long as it works. As for case I am hearing the barely there case is a good choice. Any tips for a new sgs2 care?

there are many awesome case available for sgs2 but this one is best according to me
http://youtu.be/MtlbCFB3Nts
Screen protectors are recommended, gglass isn't scratch proof.
Sgp screen protectors are good, i find the crystal ones good but show fingerprints, just means more cleaning.
Cases can be useful to protect the body of the phone, but with the samsung 2000mah battery in (its great btw) case selection is hard, just ordered some eBay bumpers to try.
Mhl cable is nice if you are using a stock based rom, and a OTG cable is nice for plugging thumb drives etc in.

I have NILKIN HARD Case.. best case I ever had for a phone (and I had quite a few phones haha)
I recently purchased Nillkin Brand case, have to say it is good quality and perfect fit. But, I am facing one issue with it. During taking snapshot using camera, the flash LED makes the image BLUEISH(since case is blue cover). I have to remove case to take picture. Any solution for it ?
Otherwise the case is great for value. Not only that it comes with SKIN GAURD as well.
i got the sikai one in blue, i must say...it's great
I prefer nilkin.
The build quality of my nillkin hardcase seems to be eroding as I use it. Anyone else experiencing this?
I think that's called wear and tear

I have just received my order of www.sofiz.co.uk.
Here my order details:
Sikai TPU flexicase
Anti-Glare Screen Protector
Both have really good quality. Fast shipping as promised!
The Sikai Flexicase is really good material and I have never seen such a fantastic feeling screen protector. Thumbs up for your shop! I can totally recommend sofiz.co.uk
My daughter found an ingenious way of scratching the screen on my Atrix and I just wanted to know if their was a way of rubbing something over them to make them less noticeable or can I replace the screen itself?

googling "repair scratched gorilla glass" turned up a few mentions of fixing scratches with various sanding and glazing products:
first result mentioning glaze:

I put a screen protector on after I noticed a bunch of tiny scratches on my screen. Now I don't see them as much. It might be worth a try, especially since the el-cheapo ones I got were all of $1.50 for a 3-pack.

I never understood why anyone puts a cheap screen protector on their phone and messes up the quality of the display?....
Just a diff way of lookin at things.
I did and always have had one on all my other phones. I wasn't happy with the display after that. I "drop bank" on a fine phone and was diminishing the quality of what i saw on the screen, so I took it off. The display was one of the features i bought the phone for.

I love your flags!!
I wouldn't put a cheap screen protector on my phone, but I would prob rather have a cheap one than nothing. Zagg and/or Skintech I can say from personal experience are amazing, must have screen protector(s) for any device. You will not be disappointed with either purchase. Today my Atrix, iPad and Captivate are all protected with them (plus Otterbox) and they all look like they just came out the box, they are completely flawless like they just come off the factory line. A finger has never touched the screens.

Keep opinions to yourself. Wanted info and nothing else plus I read somewhere that Gorilla glass was scratch resistant hence no protection!
Had a desire for a while that has gone thru exactly the same stuff as my Atrix except the screen survived perfectly......and that blows 'my mind'.

Thanks again for your info.

I've never used a screen protector on any of my phones and I've had A LOT. And I've never had even a tiny scratch on any of them.
It goes down to how you treat your phone. Ofcourse handling it like a Gorilla will screw it up. No Glass can save that so by all means if you're one, put the damn protector on other than that, she does look better naked
Sent from my Atrix 4g using Tapatalk
if you switch phones often, not sure if it's even worth it buying those cheap screen protectors even if they are like 1 dollar.
if you switch phones a lot, don't bother, but if you want no scratches, you should have just put on a screen protector before you really used it.
you can really see the scratches when you are using your phone unless it's a deep huge scratch. i have a bunch of hairline scratches on my phone, you can even tell when i'm using the phone. when the screen is off, you can spot a few if you look really closely.

Well, Gorilla-glass IS scratch resistant. But only to a degree. Just like with waterproof watches - that only works a couple of meters near the surface.
To be fair, it's extremely hard to do a noticeable scratch on the Atrix. If you carry it in the pocket for a while, it will get covered with many micro scratches that are barely visible. But to leave a huge scratch on it - you got unlucky mate.
Having said that, I carried my Milestone in the pocket with keys / without screen protector for a year and never had a noticeable scratch.
Gorillag-glass works, but it's not a perfect remedy.
I really like the seidio active with kickstand cases, I know they made cases for the past nexus phones and the active case foe my sensation has been hands down the best case I ever owned for any phone, and I have gone through lots of cases.
.
So what case does everyone else want to see?
I'd like to know if having a case will prevent wireless charging...
I'd probably get the bumper. I don't want to cover up the cool looking glass back but I want something for a little protection from drops and to cover up what looks to be a really scratchable chrome ring.

This. Or whichever case I can find locally that appeals to me. Honestly I never really care about brand for cases at least. It's more about their appearance and performance.
Can't see a OtterBox letting you perform that function, but some of their stuff has openings on the back, so maybe they'll take the charging adapter into consideration. What kills me about Otterbox, is they never answer a question. I realize they get tons of requests, but is it too hard to put a coming soon on their site for upcoming popular units? They have Twitter and FB, so you would think................
I really want a green androidified tpu case by Cruzerlite. I hope they make it quickly.
SGP bumper. Once you go them it's hard not to notice the detail that goes into design....

I tried many different screen protectors but I don't like any of the ones I've tired mainly because my finger just skids along the screen rather than gliding, it ruins the whole touch experience. I've seen these matte like anti glare screen protectors for the iphone and really liked them, they were really smooth. Is there any screen protectors like this for the Nexus 4? I've seen some links but no reviews for any of them. If you're using one that you really like, please leave a link. Thanks.
I'm just using a generic matte one from eBay. Just had to make sure it had sensor cut outs. My friends one wasnt cut so he cut it himself.
These are the ones i'm using now.

The ones I got from ebay (seller dzystro or something like that) are of decent quality, and cutouts are okay but are 1-2mm short in the height. so the topmost part of my screen isnt covered, like right above the sensors

Only issue that I kinda don't like is that it kinda ruins the screen quality. Whites look terrible. Dark colors seem the same..

Hey guys whats going on. Well Im walking away from the Otterbox Series of cases for my S5. Went with another brand for a case and Now I am looking for some tempered glass to protect the screen. I have done some reading and looking around but there are soo many companies making glass, and I have yet to own one. So I am seeing what others are using and what you guys here recommend.
What do you guys like and why?
I have found Anker to look good and I hear alot about Spigen, Zagg and I loome. But what do you guys recommend????
All thoughts and comments will be looked over and thought about. I just dont wanna go out and buy twice if you guys know what I mean. thank you

Yeah I ordered the tough armor case for 9 bucks. couldnt beat that. Just dont know which Tempered glass to get.....
What makes the Zagg so expensive compared to Zerolemon and Anker which are 9 dollars instead of zaggs 35 dollars???
It's thicker and therefore gives more chance of surviving if you would drop your phone face down.
Ps. My phone equiped with above combo, survived couple of accidental drops on hard surfaces and it's still alive in perfect form.
