So I noticed the other day that when I was playing NOVA HD on my 10.1 tab, sometimes the control stick would not move immediately when I moved my thumb. I thought it was a problem with NOVA but I just saw it happening again while playing Galaxy on Fire 2. The weird thing is that I can tell that the tablet is registering my touch because the stick lights up slightly to register movement, but it just doesn't move.
Has anyone else experienced this? Anybody know of a fix?
I have experienced lag of touchscreen in almost every graphical application. Just download e.g. writepad and try to draw something. This looks like a severe bug in touchscreen driver in the kernel. I would say that it looks like the touscr3n sampling frequency is too low
Just my 1 useless eurocent

Hi. I've recently noticed more screen jittering and periodic flickers when I'm scrolling. I tend to keep my thumb on the screen and slowly scroll when I'm reading. The problem isn't as bad if I just tap quickly to scroll, but if I do it slowly, text is shaky or almost shimmering.
Anybody else get this effect when scrolling? Opinions on whether this sounds hardware or software related?

Thanks.
depends if you are talking about the home screen or in applications...regardless it is a software issue.
You didn't mention if you have a microsd card installed and how full it is.
Secondly, this is known to happen immediately after reset, and is somewhat normal.
Background apps might also affect performance.
Just bought my S4 two days ago and I noticed screen sensitivity was awful in some games. I tested it playing Dead Trigger and Royal Revolt and I was forced to press multiple times in order for the screen to register one press. Touch was fine in any other apps or when performing different actions. After fiddling with the settings I activated enhanced screen sensitivity for glove use and now games work perfectly. Just wanted to know if anyone else encountered this problem with these or other games. I still don't know if games are poorly optimized, my phone's screen sucks or Samsung's bad touch sensitivity on all I9505.

This is very odd behavour and I'm wondering if it's the games themselves or not.
Dungeon Hunter 4: When in the World Map screen, a small area near the lower right corner of the screen is completely unresponsive and won't scroll the map around nor respond to any touch at all.
Ravensword 2 Shadowlands: This happens on and off but it also happens in the same area of the screen as the other game. The attack button stops responding sometimes. This one is harder to pin down because it doesn't happen all the time.
I installed a multi touch screen testing app and it shows all areas of the screen working fine though. Has anyone noticed similar behavior with either of these 2 games? I wish I had another N7 to install them on to test so I could determine whether it's the games themselves or whether my unit's touch sensors are funky in that spot with certain games.
I have the same issue with the lower right in GTA Vice City. I'll be driving and go to hit the break and nothing happens. Really annoying!
I discovered it was the games causing it, not the tablet's fault.

You may read my topic, my touch screen sometimes stops respondind too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44601701#post44601701
i think the problem not in games..
For now i have only 1 question: is it hardware or software problem...?
It's the tablet, not the games.
Swipes and taps sometimes do not register on Candy Crush Saga and Bingo Blitz. Returned mine for good until they sort this out.

Hello,
When I scroll down/left/right in my phone and hold my finger on display, the screen automatically shakes left and right or up and down (depending on how I was scrolling my device). This also occurs while charging and while moving an icon on home-screen. I had this issue previously with Asus Zenfone 3, Samsung Galaxy J7 and a HTC Desire (dont remember the exact model though) and a similar issue with iphone 6 (which was registering that my finger was moving on home button). Is this a software problem or hardware problem and how can I fix this ? I have read on web that many people are facing this issue on various phones. but couldnt find any solution yet. Is this my screen sensitivity/touch/display driver/ battery or something else ? If anyone could suggest something, would be really helpful.
Edit: Exactly the same issue as this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxysauxJ5Yk&feature=youtu.be but mine shakes a bit less, still annoys me while playing 8 ball pool and other aiming games like angry birds, etc.
Thanks
There is an app which you can use to test your touch screen by drawing on it. You'll be able to see exactly what it's registering. From what I've seen it happens on a lot of phones with bad digitizers. Try to get a warranty replacement.

Hello,
Sorry for delay. I went to service centre and they said that it is normal because of smooth and silky touch and slight movement of fingers. I explained him that it occurs more while charging and he had to take my phone for inspection.
Here is the correct video : https://youtu.be/PmQ2lra4RXU
My hand didnt have tremors. I agree that human hands are not 100 % stable, however, none of my other phones do it. And if my hand is shaking, then it should shake also while the phone is not charging. When I unplug my device, it stops shaking (almost stops), but when I replug it, it starts to behave weird again when I am holding finger stable. Also, this shaking will move your aim pointer in gaming and it really is annoying while play games with pointer moving.
Is it really normal that your pointer moves while your finger is stable on screen ?
Does anyone have an issue like you can see in this video?

It's intermittent but happens fairly frequently. I play a lot of the game War Robots. When I'm walking and aiming / shooting sometimes the screen jiggles back and forth. Also, sometimes the left joystick stops registering my touch and re-centers. I only get this behavior while both of my thumbs are on the screen.
Sounds like this issue started appearing with Android version 8.0 but I'm not sure what the latest Amazon Fire OS is built on. See: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...-after-updating-to-oreo-8-1-open-beta.803513/
I'm using an Amazon Fire HD 10. Not sure if this is a hardware issue, operating system bug or war robots bug.
Any suggestions or fixes?
