Can anyone tell me as how to change bootanimation in Samsung galaxy y duos s6102???
I am on Stock Deodexed rom DDLG1 .I have tried using boot animation installer present in play store--unable..
and there is no such file like "bootanimation.zip" either in system/media or data/local.....as som devs tell to repalce. There is a file named bootanimation in system/bin and in system/media 2 file- bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg....
please help

You need to enable custom boot animation first & then you will have bootanimation.zip that you can replace
Flash the following in cwm with system mounted

I never saw a magnificent developer (or what ever u call ur self ) like u till now, u give a detailed step by step installation guide that's really awesome, the more amazing thing is at the end of the installation guide u say OOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and u ask us to edit the script @ META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script by unzipping the package, Hats off to ur intelligence.
Don't you know that the phone is stuck in BOOT animation by the time u said OOPS !!!! in ur installation guide.
I don't know if there will be any fool who will flash the phone with stock ROM using odin and try to install ur magnificent ROM again. Its my humble request to not to say OOPS !!! in installation guide because its OUR F****** phones out there and our precious time which is wasted by Genius' Like you

You have learnt some important lessons here
1 - Read all the instructions
2 - Always have a backup
3 - Know how to quickly resolve any problems
And the most important
4 - Anything you do to your phone you do at your own risk - neither XDA or anyone else will take responsibility if your phone blows up

Brightness Control
Hello,
I had installed RC1 version in which I face issue with brightness that it was automatically changing without any change given by me and irrespective of what it is showing in setting>display>brightness bar. It seems like there is some bug. In brightness settings it is showing unexpected behavior like even if I am increasing brightness, in actual it decreases. Please Help !!!
Bricked my phone(samsung galaxy y duos s-6102)
I installed the GIJv.2.1. I followed proper procedure but I bricked my phone.
The error was that it data/rebooting was not able to mount.
Then I used odin, it went into boot loop.
Then I used firmware by jamesjerrs to revive, finally I did.
What could be the reason for this?
What could possibly cause the unability of data to mount?

I have searched for the custom of galaxy e7 but found nothing..i watched the video on youtube of cynogen 12.1 on galaxy e7 Mod Edit : Links Removed ....but it says to complete survey so i was unable to download it.....so my final question is there really a rom available for galaxy e7,if yes then plz forward direct link to me (#sad user of galaxy e7)

Yeah its a scam but u can see that in the video he has installed cynogen in galaxy e7 that mean the custom rom has been developed..
It's fake don't take it for real.
