Just an inquiry. Since the T-Mobile version of the Galaxy S II has a Snapdragon processor, wouldnt it be easier to port to our HD2's? here's the dump http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1300682
might be harder due to difference in hardware
I'm using Galaxy SII with stock Rom , it isn't better than CM7 rom and MIUI rom. So I'll cook and flash other Rom to my phone

Thx for the replies guys. From what I read the tmo version uses a snapdragon processor which I know the Hd2 uses, so i figured it would be somewhat possible. Thx though. And lang, i love your miui roms. I always look for the updates lol

Hello,
I'm actually using the CM7 final version for my legend but I'm very intersted by the new Blay0 0.8.4.
I know Blay0 is 2.2 and Sense but there is better performance or battery with this rom ?
Thanks
incorrect section, man %)
This section for developments only
hmm It's about 2 roms in development ... Cyanogenmod 7 and Blay0 ...
Did you suggest to post it in "General" section ?

of course it should be in general i dont see this as any thing that is in development
in legend android development you put your roms or tweaks to the android system no apps/questions/themes
it should be in general section... you are talking about cyanogen and stock rom and more that its between gingerbread vs froyo [both of them are best in their category ]and don't think so a comparison is necessary [otherwis it will become aliba vs blayo ]
Ok no problem I understand
Thanks for your help.
I used both and now back to CM7, Blay0 is good but I had enough of Sense for a while
I've been using Blay0 and recently tried CM7 Final Stable. Went back to Blay0 because I found CM7 not as smooth and polished. My phone runs very fast and snappy with Blay0.
I think cm7 is better too.. think it runs smoother

Currently there aren't any stable Gingerbread Sense rom for wildfire. Although one ROM which is experimental can be used as per you choice. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1269485
Make sure to take a nandroid backup before flashing any rom,,,

U can try RemPuzzleROM from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978197
I am currently using it and it is very nice.
But it is based on FroYo.
No stable GingerBread Sense-based ROMs are available for Wildfire.
It seems that the devs are busy with some other phones.
P.S. If you happen to try out the Expreimental Sense-based GB ROMS, do let me kow. Thanks
Hello,
Sorry for boring you but I need your help.
I was an HD2 user with all those amazing rom and after breaking it, I've got a galaxy s2 g version.
I would like to port a non g version to a g version.
They have different cpu and gpu.
I've changed some lib and driver but would like to know if there is some configuration file to modify somewhere.
I had a some error waiting on surfaceflinger...
I don't manage to fix it.
Thank you for your help!

umm, you want to port a galaxy rom to a different galaxy model and you're asking this in the hd2 section? are there no devs in the (lots of) galaxy sections?
Yes I know. It's a bit strange. But dev here are used to port rom from a different phone.
That's the reason.

Hi all,
The CM10.2 rom could run in the G2 of KOREA version ? And the FM radio could use in it?
I dont think it will run as it is,and the problem is,they dont care enough to port it too,so we are abit doomed. But we will get rom updates sooner than everybody else, thats for sure.I would like to see a custom kernel for our phone, but who will do that...
Please use the q & a section for things like this.
