[SOLVED]Need to uninstall clockworkmod and get stock bootloader back. - Droid Pro General

Edit: So it appears that even with clockworkmod recovery installed you can still access the stock bootloader by pressing and holding the up and down volume keys at the same time while pressing and holding the power button, then releasing the power button when the back light turns on, still holding the up and down volume buttons until it boots into the stock bootloader.
I found these instructions for the EVO 4G on how to install recovery-RA-supersonic-v2.3.img.
Will these instructions work for my Droid Pro?
Also, will recovery-RA-supersonic-v2.3.img allow me to use RSD lite or do I need a different image file for that?
Really I would like to just get back to the stock bootloader so that I can use RSD lite reinstall the stock sbf.

tried to follow the directions which say to hold down the red and green buttons then push volume down then up then wipe.
when i push the red and green buttons then volume down it take me to the hboot screen and asks me if i want to upgrade.
should i just be holding the red and volume up? then wipe and install the downgrade rom just i would flash a new rom?
need to get this figured out soon. my screen is loosing touch more and more now my home, menu, and back spots are not allways working
You should go to fastboot and flash the Ruu for 2.1.

this is what i'm tryin, but step 2 is what isnt working. when i hold power on and send buttons i get nothing but a upgrade screen.
should i be holding the power on and the volume up to start. then i come to a screen with a wipe setting and i can boot the downgrade zip from there
Could I also downgrade the hboot on a rooted Eris. Would this offer any advantage or disadvantage over the hboot that came with the rooted leak v3 rom?
just go into recovery mode, which i believe is by holding vol up + power, then follow the directions from there.

[Q] defy stuck at motorola boot screen after flash

i flash my phone with a custom rom from this forum
succesfull until RSD Lite step
after RSD Lite, my phone stuck at Motorola logo with blur
tried pull off and pulling on the batery with power and volume up, it got back to bootloader screen
try aother RSD Power, it is still the same
Progress till 100 persen, but the phone stucked at motorola blur logo
any solution, guys?
thanks
What were you trying to flash?
I try to upgrade to froyo.
it stuck after RSD Lite step
Well first, is your phone rooted? Secondly, what stock version did you have?
I think I can get you up and running with Froyo
you may try to install your original version/build number sbf. if its work, maybe you can try flash froyo ROM again. then when you finished restore custom ROM all you have to do is go to bootloader then flash boot/devtree only sbf.. dont pull usb connection. but if RSD want you to turn phone manually then you need to press power button even though your phone at booting state..
i got the same problem, everything was working fine before i done it a couple times but then i used miui and my phone battery died and it wouldnt work after that so i decided to flash with rsd lite and after doing everything normally its just stuck at the motorola and moto blur symbol/animation thing. really frustrating.

did you find fix?
What SBF file did you use?
Have you tried another file?
get into stock recover (Vol Up + Power) then wipe data/cache
Half Bricked
I have an Mb525 rooted (that was) running stock 2.2 Blurred. I installed the Defy boot loader and hard reset/wiped partitions and (tried to) install cm7 from SD, it installs fine, goes fine, everything is all set. Reboot the device and the splash image pops up with the white LED first, then the blue one for boot loader, and finally the green one. It stays on splash screen. I tried 2 different versions of cm7 and both do the same thing. I'm able to access the boot loader, it just doesn't finish loading whatever I flash onto it.
As my phone is dysfunctional, I would appreciate it if you could contact me through my Skype;

Solution
I had this problem. Found a solution at 4pda.ru
1. Shut down your phone.
2. Hold Volume- button, press Power button for 2 seconds. Then release both.
3. When you see Android robot press together both Volume+ and Volume- buttons.
4. Erase both Cache and Data.
5. Reboot.
Your phone should boot normally.

[SOLVED]Power button problem...

So I've done a search and haven't found anything, so here is the low down.
I'm trying to SBF my old Droid 2 back to 2.3.20 so I can install GB. Problem is, the power button is shot, so I'm not sure if I can boot into the stock recovery after I SBF to wipe.
ADB does not recognize my device in Bootloader. Is there any way to either A: Get adb to recognize it in bootloader, or B: Boot into recovery without the power button?
Thanks in advance.
* I can't believe I didn't think of it before... just had to plug the phone in and hold x on the keyboard...

droid x boot Loop, and Can't get into Recovery Mode

I used sbf_flash in linux to flash the 602 sbf image from verizon (My carrier). This worked as expected, and I was able to root the phone from there. I installed Rom manager and Droid 2 bootstrap, and took a backup image.
I should point out that Rom manager would not take an image on its own, it only rebooted the phone, I had to use the menu in droid 2 bootstrap to create the backup.
I installed the miui rom, and after a while decided to switch back, but Rom Manager and Droid 2 bootstrap wouldn't work. (I've heard you're not supposed to use bootstrap from miui. It rebooted my phone and seemed to have erased my phone's data).
I tried to sbf flash my phone again to get back to stock gingerbread, but now it boots in a loop at the red ball logo. If I hold home and the volume buttons when pressing power to get to recovery mode, the triangle appears but no menu loads.
Am I stuck? Please tell me that something can be done with ADB or some other recovery tool.
EDIT:
Nevermind I was following the Froyo instructions to get into recovery mode I needed to to follow the gingerbread instructions:
Froyo Instructions:
take out battery and reinsert
hold the home key and the power button when turning on
press search to get into recovery
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
reboot
NOTE: the volume up/down are move up down; camera is select; and power is go back.
Gingerbread Instructions:
Pull the battery and reinstall
Hold home and power as you turn it on
Press both volume keys simultaneously at the droid/triangle screen
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Reboot
NOTE: the volume up/down are move up down; power is select; back key moves back
Yeah I was gonna say to wipe everything in recovery if you could then try download mode but you got it ha.
I know what to do! Disable USB debugging and it will work. rememeber to enable it back once finished.
Edit:
Oh. I thought you have problems getting to cwm.

You verified the CG version before flashing the full SBF ??
you can still flash a new rom threw rsd lite.
I would say you done the same as me I tried to flash a version with a lower version and it wouldnt boot at all.
Power the phone on holding the volume up button and connect the USB, It wont show the bootloader screen but RSD lite should say its connected.
You might have to plug it in and out of the usb cable a few times (well I did) till RSD lite connects to it.
You will have to find out what version you had previously and flash the same version or higher (try to stay on the same version if you can)
Dunno if stock recovery would help:
How do I enter Recovery Mode?!: With the Phone off press VOLUME DOWN then, while still pressed, power up the phone and leave VOL key pressed until you see a Yellow triangle, once you see this you are in Recovery now press Vol Up and Vol Down at the same time (if you are in Froyo) and the menu will appear, if you are on Éclair the menu should appear without having to press anything
This is a copy/paste from all in one guide
if its like mine the screen does not show anything, you cant get into bootloader or recovery screen. Well I think it goes into bootloader as RSD lite can read it but it will not show anything on the screen.
I think my problem was trying to install the CM9 kernel as I used the same process and left out flashing the CM9 kernel and it worked perfect, Lucky some one that helped me get my phone working again suggested this to me.
So I now have ICS working by just installing it and Gapps and left out the CM9 kernel
Not sure if that is what you are trying to do but you should be able to flash a new rom with what I said above. Just making sure its the same BL version as your previous install
Thz for all your help,I can fix my defy+ since I using bl7 sbf
I think I will root it and flash other rom soon
