Yes you can. That's the point of making a back up.

You can download it from HTC developers site.
Maybe next time you can post in an existing thread like the Liberated thread seeing you are running liberated? There are stickies here too with the answer to your question.
Thanks, and I'll make sure to do that next time

you could check the wiki too
You can also download the HTC 2.1 update and install it. You would have the most recent OEM ROM.
Asked this question before but nobody answered. When using Rom Manager Premium and doing a "backup of current rom", am I to do this, then try another rom and if I do not like the new rom, do a restore backup and everything will come back just as if I had not tried the new rom at all? I mean everything. I use titanium backup pro, but it's still such a pain in the A to get everything back up and running again. I am running Trigger 3.3 beta right now and really am liking this rom and have it pretty much set up just as I want it now. Cannot see how another rom can be as good as this one, but it would be nice to try them out, and come right back when I need to without the hassles. Thanks.
So ur question is? Should u use restore backup on rom manager premium.. I do

No. My question is, can rom manager premium put everything back like it was using restore, after a rom is wiped to try a new one, without even messing with the hassles of using titanium bacup pro.

Yes, with the exception of your kernel. It cannot restore that.

Im glad someone asked this question! I thought the same thing which is why I stayed with trigger, but 1 question what if I have trigger 3.0.1 and want to try a GB rom then come back is it possible with rom manager?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
gingerbread and froyo are two different monsters! so no u couldnt but any froyo rom u can!
Well, you can get it back, it's just more work, but getting to GB is more work anyway right?
Couldn't you Odin a froyo stock rom with kernal/modem, then flash the custom froyo rom again, download rom manager, put the RM backup you kept on your computer into the RM folder and then restore the previous settings?
I'm interested to hear if others have done this. I want to try a GB rom, but I like to move around a lot and Froyo roms seem like the way to go if you have an itchy flashing finger.

Ok ever since I got my new 32gb SD card I've been having problems getting some fictions on my phone to work. I was able to swirl through my phone not changing my splashscreen. But now I'm trying to get into recovery to load ciui rom and it wont go into recovery. I've tried to go into it from rom manager as well and no luck. All it does is take me to bootloader and ask if I want to update I say yes or no and then try to go into recovery and it just goes back to bootloader screen. Is there a setting I may have accidentally changed or any ideas on where to start. Thanks for the help

Nevermind. I just needed to flash recovery. I'm a moron.

Aha that might help!
But to others who do see this thread and have a recovery installed and still cant go into recovery try nandroiding your device then do a factory reset and wipe your caches and it should get it working again.
How can they do a nandroid is they can't get to recovery??
Think about it

The best way to get to recovery when this happens is to flash recovery from Rom Manager. =) problem solved.
ROM Manager actually sucks, tbh, for flashing anything
Ya. ROM manager had some nice tools and functions, but for doing stuff in recovery I wouldn't recommend...

Root and install either Clockworkmod or TWRP Recovery following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2266654
Before flashing any custom ROM or kernel, make a nandroid backup so you can revert back if the changes cause your phone to crash.
before flashing anything, learn about your device and the basics to modding your device first. or youll soon start a "new user, help me i think i bricked my device" thread.
thanks guys.
run through maybe 5 roms now to find one that works with whatsapp and i like !!!!
Hahaha

They should all work with whatsapp as far as I know. As for liking the ROM that's completely subjective of course. Personally I doubt I could find a ROM that I actually disliked for this phone since the're mostly minor variations from stock and I like stock as well.
