The themes are now updated through Open Desire's "OD updater"!
Just launch it, go to Configuration -> Theme Update Settings -> Manage Theme Servers -> Menu button -> Enable all Theme Servers. Then Menu button -> Update Featured Theme Servers
You can then download the desired theme.
Don't forget to import the color settings file after you applied the theme from within CyanogenMod-menu and reboot!
This is a port of GalaS for OpenDesire!
How to:
1.) Download the ZIP and save it on your SD-Card
2.) Boot into recovery and flash the ZIP there
3.) Reboot and enjoy
If you want to revert to standard OpenDesire-look then download ZIP "n8_OD_original_Theme.zip" and flash as described above.

That's quite alright you are really putting lots of work into your port (or is it a ROM already?). I will just go on and make "Gala S light"
It started as a rom-mod based on Defrost but now it's a flashable theme via update.zip supporting Open Desire, CyanogenMod and Defrost current versions and also a basic Sense rom version.
The more people putting work into this sort of thing the better i say so please carry on we are doing two quite different things.

Rom based on Miui 12.3 Release with the latest Miui 0.12.3 english pack #1c.
This is the build that I use for my own daily use. I am not a developer but I have created roms before and thanks to domineus instructions on how to build your own Android rom I have decided to share my own build. This is beta and by no means is complete. I have themed this to what I like based on themes from iNexus and MrDSL (Suave HD). Thank you both.
This rom is using the Hastarin 8.5.1 Kernel (Thanks). All aspects of the rom should work fine including:

Extract the GIPAQ-MIUI.7z to your SD Card. Keep the folder name since the startup.txt is pointing to that name.
Use the data.img incuded with the rom. NOT recommended using your old image. Restore your data and applications using Titanium Backup or any other backup software you are using.

TIPS:
1.) If you have trouble installing Angry Birds game, please Unmount SD Card first and then install.
2.) Angry Birds will NOT restore using Titanium Backup. This is an issue with all current Miui builds.
3.) NO this is NOT a Miui Sense build. What you see on the first screen shot is Miui Fancy Widget Mod created by GU5TAF. Link for download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7U76RSSG
4.) Mobile Data is NOT working? Do the following: Go to Settings->Wireless and Networks->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names, press the settings-button and select "New APN". You will then need to enter the respective data as provided by you mobile operator. APN settings can usually be found on the operators website. After you do these steps mobile data should work.
5.) adfree does not work? Two ways to make it work. a) Download from Market BusyBox installer and install the new BusyBox 1.17.1. Make sure you select /system/xbin/ directory. Reboot and try adfree again, it shoud work fine. b) Download Terminal from Market and type the following in Terminal:
$su
#cd /system/xbin
#busybox ln -n busybox cat
6.) If you have battery consumption problems please make 2-3 reboots till the battery consumption stabilizes. You should be getting 3-7 ma in idle and <1% per hour.
7.) The current release ONLY supports English language. If you change language you may encounter problems, like Chinese in some menus.
8.) If you have Robot voice, do a reboot, it should solve the problem. If not then please check your radio version and WM rom. I am using the latest radio 2.15 and the OMEGA DINIK WM Rom and I have zero issues.
9.) Multiple Android build on your SD card? no problem use Exceller Multiple Build Loader for Android/Ubuntu. You can boot Android from multiple folders without having the name 'Android'. See link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737001

I think that is a problem with all current Miui builds. It's not just angry birds but some other apps and games as well.

All should work fine.
Data, Volume should be loud and clear. Angry birds you may have to Unmount SD card to install if you have problems. This is an issue with all the Miui builds. Theme manager should work fine but read the warning about themes on first post.

No this is not a Miui with Sense. what you see is the Miui modified fancy widget created by GU5TAF. I will give a link for that on the first page post #4 in a while.

BadaSI is a community project, everyone is invited to help on the developement or to post some new useful ideas. Also everyone who helps will be shown in the About part of the app as Team-Member. This App aims to show every usefull information about the system, to offer some benchmarks and a better user experience while using it. At the other side BadaSI is also aimed to help new developers, to dive into the bada world and start developing Apps. There is a big usefull collection throgh many API functions from the bada SDK and offers for every new developer some usefull examples that could help in hard times.

- Disclaimer
The inofficial version of the App under developement, and should be used only by Beta-Testers, which don't mind, that the Device could crash after using it. Everyone should think about it before installing the App on the Device. Also no warranty or anything else is guaranteed, use it at your own risk.
- How to use?
Bind the Project in the bada SDK:
1. Install the newest Bada SDK [recommendet is the standard installation]
2. Start the Bada SDK
3. File --> Import --> bada Application Projekt --> Select Root Directory [Path of the Project Folder]
4. Confirm with Finish
Clean and compile the Projekt:
5. Right-Click on the Project Folder
6. Press Clean Project
7. Choose the Arrow-Down-Symbol next to the Tools-Symbol
8. Press Target Release
Prepare the Device:
9. Copy the attached rootCA.cert on the Card and execute it
10. Enable USB-Debugging [unter Settings --> Connections]
11. Connect the Device to the PC over USB-Calbe
Install and test the App
12. Choose the Arrow-Down-Symbol next to the Play-Button
13. Press Target-Release

Just Tried.It works Very well.and About Ram is perfect.And New Section Uilities When avaialable ?
The new section will also come soon, i want to build in some usefull things like compass and so on, the sensor data will stay as it was but a compination of them will come under utilities. I must think about it what is very usefull and can be part of the app. Maybe also a waterlevel.
Second, the gui will change a little bit i want to built in instead of the words on or off supported and unsupported some images that are more clear. making it a little bit more suiting to the 20 centure.

@AndrewSH , I though you are one of DFT site VIP member and knew DFT very well but seems not at all , Cotulla was one of DarkForce also admin of DFT offical site , zjw831 was doing his job protected DF's work , is something wrong of this ? you tell me why we still not release DFT-code ? why only release to few developers ? How to quickly change from Chinese to English-
After you successfully boot into the ROM, don't do anything, just pull down the notification drawer and press the settings icon on top right-hand corner.
When settings open, swipe left to open complete settings.
Scroll to "Keyboard icon", tap it.
From the next page that comes, tap on the first field and choose English!
I installed RAM Manager Pro and selected the preset "Hard Gaming".. as a result, Temple Run and Asphalt 7 are working!! :laugh:

paste this on system/etc and give all 9
permissions.. then reboot! :victory:
(this will eliminate all lags in Temple Run! and improve your AnTuTu score too)

Hi people, if you want, you can try this version of MIUI. Remember that MIUI is not for everyone, but it still is for everyday use. This ROM is not super speed, but is smooth.
This rom is multilanguage, follow instalation steps, as is in first post, is it easy.

USB connection is still buged.
For communication phone with PC install THIS application to your PC, then turn on the same application in phone and pair it over WIFI.
In theme manager you can change almost anything (lockscreen, notification, dialer, bootanimation, font...)

After installation, you must start application"Morelocale2" wait approximately 30-40 seconds to view languages. WARNING! Not all these languages are included! You can choose only :

I tried only Slovak, Czech and Spain, I do not know which languages work and which do not. Those languages that are listed should work, but it is necessary to test.

I found two bugs (maybe there are other, I do not know),
First is :
When i connect phone to PC with USB, mounted is only internal storage(i do not see external SD) as "CD unit" and its not possible delete or copy any files...
And second is in Google play, Do not show me the images. (Search and install aplications is without problem)
Maybe this bugs are only for me, i dont know... :/

This changelog is for all phones, in general, that are officially supported by MIUI.. Can't say if its applicable to our phone too..
yes this is the same ROM.
An AUTO CALL RECORD option was available in MIUI GB ROMs which recorded voice calls automatically in background. This option is not found in MIUI V4. Has it been removed?
Secondly I think MIUI V4 are based on ICS. Is there any MIUI ROM based on JB for our 8800+
I like this feature a lot where you can record the conversation, but it does not any ROM that.
Only in MIUI

I think there is call record function in this ROM.. I can't confirm it right now..
This ROM also works perfectly! Who needs GB then? Its the time of 4.2!

There is a call recording option which is to be invoked manually from call screen "MORE" option which actually works. But I need that auto option add in MIUI GB. Anyway great ROM by the way.
