Home screen plugins ("CommCEntric" & "Retro")

Hi
I would like to bring your attention to 2 free homescreen plugins i've made.
The first is CommCEntric - it places 2 icons on the home screen to quickly switch on & off the bluetooth and wifi radios.
You may already know of its existence, but I thought to further advertise it
The other one is Retro - it's like an all-new version of RJTime, it's a totally customizable analog clock, and it's a new release (first released a few days ago)
These plugins were also made with "eye-candiness" in mind... because i feel like WM5 and 6 has a lot to do yet in this aspect.

Can you make this so it works with pocket pcs? I have a att8525 and would like to use this but I can't this is for smartphone only.

I don't plan converting it to PPC ... I can give the source code to someone that would do, though

Stock quotes

Hi,
On my sons Iphone, he gets stock quotes with a push on an icon...
Can this be done with a Diamond?

Something like this maybe? I'm working on it.

I'm not sure yet. I just started playing around with it a few days ago in my spare time. I'll probably post a beta within a couple weeks, or maybe tomorrow, who knows.

WOW...this may save me another grand (by not getting the HD) if you can get that running. I like the appearance and format, as well as the research options.

Right now, just using http://wireless.etrade.com. Not as fast, and interested in getting it into a tab in TF3D (see there is manila files from the HD already on this site, so may get my wish). I like the format of this one much better, so may run both (depending on final product, and visibility of all the markets).

i was searching for the same thing and now i use Equity Expert. It works fine and looks ok.

I changed the colors from the original design, and posted a working proof of concept, which will soon be the full blown thing. Screenshot below.

I'm all good with competition. I was really just doing it for myself, but I saw a few threads like this one and thought others might enjoy it too. If you like it, help me make it better. If you like something else, that's cool too, post a link for others.

This matches my theme much better, so you are my favorite person today as well. I will run both yours, and the TF3D tab from the HD. I like your format much better. The HD tab will give me quick glance, but your tab will help me make decisions wirelessly before I buy/sell on my E*Trade account.

So I am very pleased with the great work there has been done..
Alas, I can not install it because my diamond refuses to install Net CF 3.5.
I get an errormessage about freeing space (lots of space left) and about a "errormessage" 2
Can somebody please help?

APP---11 June 2010 - Magic Poker - A must have app!

This is a post for my friend Jonathan, he has made an awesome app that will scramble your friends brains. It's free and on the market place. He doesn't tell u how to do the trick, but with a little practice and a guess he will email u the directions. See his email below.
Hey guys, this is my first android app. It's called magic poker flip, which is a poker magic property app. You can use it to flip out others selected card by touching the screen. Show it on a party will be cool. You may watch my video here.
Now the android version is on android market as a free app. It's now v2.0, and tested well on 2.1 & 2.2. Not sure about 1.6 & 2.0, but seems can't work on 1.5. The secret of the trick is hidden inside the app, maybe you can guess by yourself how the trick works or try to find the solution somewhere in the app.

It's two month after my app was published, and tomorrow will be my 21st birthday, so I think it's time to reveal the secret to all you guys, no matter you've solved it or still stuck in it or planning to download it.
The solution of the trick is hidden in 'tutorial', you can enter and reverse your phone to check it if you can't figure it out.
Here I want to thank all the guys who sent my email or PM, your encouragements are my motivation to go further.
For the WM users, really sorry for the delay of your version. I promise it will be OK at early September, at which time I may finish my school project.

yes, you can play it with your friend after you get the right solution to the app, like i did in the video.

2nd EDIT: I figured out 99% already. Just left that 1%
By the way, this app is really awesome. Smart technique.
Final EDIT: I've solved it! This magic app is by far the most innovative and well thought off that I have seen. (unlike some iphone magic apps that I've tried)

Why is it he uses the computer to pick a card? I don't really get it.
I've tried pointing so the camera can see the card and I've tried saying what the card is, the app just gives a random card :?

When he finishes his exams, he is going to work on a WM version, but has quite a bit of coding to do. Wish him luck on his exams and I'm sure we'll see Magic Poker and others like it this summer. Jtag interface is what I've been expecting, no sneak peak needed, we know what root will yield, so, lock this thread

We used the smart card & s58 file to disable the chip,not the Jtag interface.

sorry, thought this trhead was started by, a newbie, coming off a fresh upwrapiing and a quick google search of newly arrived G2. The 1 post history and screen name through me off, it is great work. Just a big fan and practioner of Jtag and its warm goodness.

Although I agree the bootup animation is from older versions of Android, It's clearly 2.x+ as shown at 1:20 by the lwp, phone app instead of dialer, and a few other apps in the drawer.

As I said earlier I had problems with my touch screen, so I return back phone for guarantees. It's come back today, I noticed that service change my whole front panel and replaced my digitizer. So I rooted it, flashed new rom and kernel, then checked if it will be cypress, and ... wuut? IT'S CYPRESS.
Thank's to my operator and w-support.pl for wonderful surprise. And I didn't pay nothing at all.

Phone has some problems with touchscreen. He suddenly got a mind of it's own. It selected things when I'm not even touching the phone and when I do touch the phone it wont ever select what I'm actually trying to select.
