I agree with PapaMopps!!! lol...but there are customizations you can use to make it look like the iphone though.....
You could install a lite rom, then install spb mobile, and just browse through all the themes and install one. THere are a ton of other ways to get it to look like the iphone....just do a search on iphone themes.
Here is one...

Why in the world would anyone want to buy an iphone? lol.
No one would want to buy an iphone if they have an htc XD
The iphone's interface isn't great but it's smoooooth, which is something that, unfortunately, Windows Mobile can't touch... So using an iphone like interface in a Windows Mobile phone kills the two great things that I like about the two types of phones: Smoothness (iphone) and functionability (windows mobile).

I think he means the UI. I could try to build a ROM based on it if you can find me a ROM from a QVGA touchwiz device

Ya i mean the UI but i got it but where to get the widgets, is quite hard...
There is a video of touchwiz 3.0 on a Wildfire on youtube at the moment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpE02_hR9mU&NR=1
Check it out!.
why do people do this stuff? I have honestly not seen any UI used by a phone-manufacturer, which i would call superior to launcherPro :-D

Its fun to try, but I agree. LauncherPro is true awesomeness!
Why do people want crap on their awesome phones? Sense is x100 better than touchwiz (any version) LOL
I had TouchWiz running on it, but the app drawer eats the last line of icons on every page and i don't know how to get the icons away from there. I might try to look into the apk, maybe there are settings to change.

where is this iphone rom? has anyone seen this? ios kind of ported to android

I saw a couple youtube videos of ios ported to android.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=An1jpm2UHYU&feature=related
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/ios-4-ported-successfully-to-htc-magic/
http://www.coveringweb.com/2010/09/ios-4-successfully-ported-to-htc-device.html
I'm sure there are lots of other vids out there.
well, my question is, where is this? did anyone ever make a working rom out of it? I have an incredible and even though ios is closed i would definitely love to try it, and lets be honest, ios is pretty smooth.
I know its slow, but i'd love to try it. have any android devs spent any time on this?
seriously, i know people would be interested in this rom if devs got it ported (to the incredible!!), as evidence, look how many people like miui
where is it?
thanks
http://www.google.com/search?client...+android+htc&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
there is a ton about this on google^
I know they say it runs super slow, but if someone worked on it i'm sure they could speed it up. (and it be pretty awesome anyway)
the thing is, i dont even know where the rom is (or if it exists, im starting to think it doesnt)
why the hell would you get an android phone to put an iphone theme(rom) on it???? sounds kinda stupid to me, why not just go buy an iphone??
Well it would be pretty cool to try. And the iPhone apps are pretty nice if they'd work.
The ui and apps are pretty good.

i love the idea of porting iphone apps on android phone. but i simply hate their UI. kinda boring for me....
If you love ios looks but still love android you should try the MIUI rom, better, faster, and its based on android..

Not iOS
Sorry to burst your bubble but it's not iOS. You can see that the wallpaper scrolls as the user scrolls through the different home screens. That implementation is only on Android. It's probably just a cleverly made skin (right down to folders) used to simulate the iPhone. The two OS' are written in two different Linux kernels which makes it incompatible to be ported.
Yeah it would be neat though.
MIUI with the iphone theme installed?

IOS withdrawal

I have a friend who is now trying android, he is having IOS withdrawal, is there anything similar to help him out theme or a type of rom or something, thanks.

If he still wants the ios like feeling he could try to use miui as the launcher is a bit the same plus you can download ios themes for it.
But if your friend really wants to use android then I suggest to get away from the IOS look as there is much more behind that look on android.

You can have a much beautiful interface here in android. Android is much better. I just get one Apple phone in my hole life and returned the day after. Since then in android at least ten years ago.

You need to understand that Android is kind of the Anti-iOS, same as Linux is anti Windows.
You can see some iOS inspired design such as MIUI, but what you ask is something that most wont loose time doing.
First, any "iOS" skin/theme will only hog the system and the iOS functionality wont come so what's the point of such a "port"?
why would you want a iOS in a Xiaomi device? they literally stole the iOS UX and out it in the MIUI.
with the exception of the toogle actions and the notifications tab, otherwise it's almost the same experience as iOS

The Xiaomi feature has always been in its interface that it allows change so it is good to combine all the visual features in one phone

iOS look is quite dated to be honest, same old same old, recent miui looks better imho. As for smoothness: that's not something a theme/skin can fix.

You can't port iOS features to Android!
The visual you already have in MIUI.. but features you will never have.
Honestly my advise stand, i think you are better buying an iPhone (even used) if iOS features and look is that important. You will never have it on Android
