Hey guys, I got sick of the slow frame loading on my Optimus V so I trimmed it down a bit. This comes at a cost of image quality though as I had to shrink resolution/compress/remove frames/lower frame rate. I think I came to a suitable compromise though. Try it out.

Nice, I think that you could lower the framerate even more! But not just lower it, skip some framers, do you get the idea?

It means makes read and write in system if you have r/o you got read only.
So if you change to r/w you will be able to fix it

you can install it in any of these
if you install it in system/media your default bootanimation.zip will be deleted
and if you install it in data/local it doesn't affect anything! also if you delete this bootanimation from the data/local the bootanimation that present in system/media will be directly launch

what do you mean by hide? i actually wanted to hide the status bar while expanding the notification but it doesn't work. changed some minor layout and the blue stripe.

My ROM Mlora. In my ROM I didn't change anything.. like framework or SystemUI.apk,...
Are you really using Aurora 5 u16? So use root explorer to navigate to /system/app and copy your SystemUI.apk to your SD card and then copy .apk to computer....

What is a System Dump?
You may have seen system dumps around the net for android devices and have wonder what it is. A system dump gives a user a image of the currently installed system ROM. You can use a system dump to restore your android device in case the situation arises that something has gone terrible wrong with your device. Obtaining a backup of the system or system dump is in most cases a good idea. Some people recommend doing this before upgrading or installing custom roms on your android device. Others recommended that unless your a developer you shouldn't be fooling around with system dumps. I hope this helps people who didn't know. Remember system dumps come in all shapes and sizes. Installation should be done by pulling it to your phone! This is an dev version. I did only changes the background image of the statusbar to fully black.

And how did you get deodexed JB? Frapeti posted deodexed, but not completly. Framework is still odexed.

my phone is rooted and I tried it with root explorer.
I managed to replace the .apk but i got this error: "the system ui stopped working" and the phone freezed.
After reboot it seems it is ok now, but the status bar is still grey

Open link in Chrome and it takes me to all the images. Without any ability to just grab the file.
Open the link in Next and I have the option to open with Drive. In Drive it opens to the two folders and the desc.text file, I extract them to my sdcard, select them all and zip them into bootanimation.zip move them to system/media and change the permissions. However, when I check properties it shows up as rdx-r, click change and it shows they are set rw-r-r, what the heck am I doing wrong?

This Zip is not for flashing.
Use Root Explorer and push the File to /system/media and set Permission. Than Reboot the Phone.

It's a resize by me of the original Bootanimation Build for Galaxy Nexus from developer.
I build it with XnView and Boot Animation Factory on Windows.
Particles by Wrixituz was my favorite on my N4! Great to have it for the Nexus5!! Cool

For me, the Quality is like the Original one.
So i can try to make a sharper Version.
The only Problem is that the zip comes near to 50 mb..

No It wont replace the stock gallery. You can undo this by deleting the Gallery.apk from sys/app with any root explorer.
Take a Nandroid Backup. Just incase

I'm completely stock with only the root, you can install the gallery without flash it from recovery, but just copying the files using a file browser?
I think is enough to copy the file into MotoGallery2.apk system\app, or I have to copy all the files lib?
These files are sufficient or should I also copy the contents of the META-INF?
Can anyone help me?

I have tryed to do that, but it doesn't run. You must install all zips file...

Once the files are copied, you also have adjusted their read/write permissions?
