Google Music v4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich - Fascinate General

If you're using the Google Music Beta to stream music to your phone, you can now check out a leak of the Ice Cream Sandwich version of the app, which features a better-looking, easier to use interface.
What's New; everything. Music 4.0.1 bring a new interface with more options, better controls, and an all around cleaner look.

The new version of Google Music (which is apparently from Ice Cream Sandwich, but works with Gingerbread and Froyo just fine) hasn't added a ton of new features—it's just changed around how the interface works. First off, it's a lot prettier—in fact, it looks just like the iOS webapp version. In addition, the play and skip buttons at the bottom of the library screen have been replaced with an easy-access search button, the album art is much more prominent in the Now Playing screen, and tapping on the album art brings up many more options than in Google Music 3 (see the screenshot above)

[REQ] Titanium Good Music Pannel

Hey guys,
I've looked for the past hour trying to find a good music pannel but I can't find any. If this topic has already been addressed than I appologize
I don't think i'm mistaken when I assume that many of us would appreciate a pannel we could configure to work with WM player, Nitrogen, HTC player etc, but most importantly be able to go to the next / previous song on the pannel itself. For the moment we can only play / pause and it's not very user friendly when trying to switch songs.
I think AndrewSpec is on to something here with SlidingAlbums v. 1.1, even pushing it a step further, but being able to forward rewind would be the best.
Thx,
Will
Here's a plugin that works with Nitrogen. But, you'll need to use the latest alpha.

It even lets you skip to the next/prev song!

Looks pretty good for Nitrogen but unfortunately QVGA only (and only Nitrogen, but that I can live with)
thx though
I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem with the standard panel and WMP ? You can play/pause and next/prev directly, like you're requesting.

[INFO] Google IO Ice Cream Sandwich "Convertible Laptops"

So, the Google IO keynote is going on right now. They first announced Android 3.1 is rolling out to the xoom today. *Jealous* Features include resizeable widgets (launcher pro already has this, but way to catch up), and USB host mode natively supported (they demoed an xbox controller. someone needs to try that on the TF).
Also, one unique thing they did announce was the new Ice Cream Sandwich:
Per Engadget's Live Blog
Ice Cream Sandwich is Google's "most ambitious" release to date, and the key word here is "choice." This new OS will power tablets, convertible laptops, phones, etc.

Notice it says "convertible laptops". I'm pretty sure that's a nod to the TF that they will be natively supporting keyboard and mouse. That would be sweet!
EDIT: they also specifically put up this graphic when talking about wanting Ice Cream sandwich to run on all types of mobile devices:

New updated Market showed up on my phone, version 3.1.5

Guys, just done back to my sgsII after a few hours and noticed I've got a very swish (very ice cream sandwich) looking Market. it's version 3.1.5. I've got screenshots I'll put up soon enough. Has anyone else got this? It looks really good and the scrolling feels very nice indeed!
Exciting!

Good that you finally got yours pushed to your phone. It's been out for a while since 3.1.3. I still find it rather slow and sluggish. Prefer the old one. But the new one is aesthetically pleasing.

that's nice
Good to know they're making their own UI for ICS, it never hurts to have more choices!
looks great
this is the new ICS player from SE?woah..cool!..cant wait for the ICS update on my Arc S.. xD
Woow, this one looks very nice! Good job SE, but it looks like the musicplayer which is used in the MIUI rom... But still, nice job!
New music player with "Clear Bass", interface also nice~~~
It looks really good, hope they do a great job with their version of ICS, waiting to see the results.
Sent from my LT15i using XDA App
When will the Stock Music Player display lyrics like iOS has been doing for years now? Hope SE will get lyrics display and also smart dialing in their ICS version.
In the MIUI rom the music player displays the lyrics, i found a apk for it but haven't tested it yet. Are there more music players for android who displays lyrics?

What for is mod for tezet-CM7 ?

I recently installed the current ROM from "[Port&MOD][CM7][GB kernel][20-Dec-2011] cm72-111215.1631-NIGHTLY-v1.3".
In the same thread there are some supplemental downloads at the end of the first post. There I saw the mentioned above "mod for tezet-CM7", but unfortunately there is no description (at least I couldn't fin any) of what this mod is good for, what it does.
So now I'm asking you folks!
I preappologize in case I missed an existing description or easy to find explanation.
Thanks!
in fact the mod is for the rom of tezet ([ROM][22-01-2012] CyanogenMod 7 for Motorola Milestone 2 (Android 2.3.7)) and apply the same modification as the rom you had installed
so nevermind in your case!
Is it somehow possible to get an T9 Dialer in ICS style?
I'm so used to find contacts using the T9 method and it's much quicker compared to all the scrolling up and down and up and .... you get my point...
maybe this one :
GO Contacts EX
Thanks!
I'll try this one, how ever it's not really the same look as ICS... but at least I'll have T9 dialing...
maybe there is a theme for ics style ??
got it
i got it:
