Theres a few that u need but here they are. You might have to fix permissions and reboot also after u install them.

Thanks, anyway for you to narrow down what other things I need?
EDIT:
I successfully got the Timescape widget on, but I can't install the plug ins and other stuff (cannot parse thing error). Any help in getting it to work would be awesome. Photo widget looks great.
im on cm7 and they install fine
May be a 2.1 thing. I'll be rooting to 2.2 eventually but right now I'm on 2.1.

CAN RUN?????
Install
Eventstream.apk
and other plugins apks
With timescapespline.apk
to get proper timescape
Did all that. (Oh btw, now on 2.2). If I try to put the widget on the home I get FC. If I open it up I can see all the sections, but no content shows up. If I try to add social networks it FC.
EDIT: Timescape seems to work now, but not the widget.

You need two more things for timescape widget-Arc home launcher and timescape libs(dont know which ones though)
If sombody can figure out the libs we need maybe it will work right

Can't get twitter or fb to work?
Try this.
edit build.prop file by changing this line...
ro.product.manufacturer - whatever value
To
ro.product.manufacturer - Sony Ericsson
Reboot. It should work.

Guys,
I am using Xperia Arc and when I install other launcher like ADW launcher but I was unable to find the timescape widget, I can only find it in SE Home Launcher.
Anyone notice that and any solution?
So i have installed Simi Clock from market, but it is not working.
I cant findn it in Applocations instaled (settings, app, app manager), and i cant find it in widget list when trying to add widget on home screen.
Any one has some solution?
Thanks in advance

That's strange it works for me. Have you ensured that it's actually installed? sometimes my market says it will install but it's never there.
Edit: sorry, I should read more carefully. Well I don't know what to tell you then. Try a different launcher maybe? I'm using zeam

Hi there, well I thought about something that I would like to have on my phone
Maybe you have many apps installed...and you have many icons on the "list of apps" from your launcher. Its my case, and some of that appĀ“s laucher icon I dont use it because maybe I dont use this app too much
So would be great an app which you can "transform" the icon from the app list to a widget. I mean, to hide the app to the menu, and If you want to launch the app, go to widgets and here is it. Do u understand me? what do you think?
Well javi, I'll give you a simple solution which u may not know yet that most of the launchers like ads support catalogs in which u can manage the apps u want inn your app drawer and when u need them u just need to switch catalog.... go and try ADW launcher if urs doesn't support it.

Have searched hi n low for this with no luck, I use the s note widget quite a bit for the fire dept , school, ext. but hate the white background it has when folders are present. Has anyone seen a version that has a transparent or black background? And thanks in advance for any info. The ite in the title is a typo lol
You can just pull it to your computer and edit the apk file in the res folder woth somethingnlike photoshop or gimp to make it transparent I dont know if anybody will make one like this

Hi guys.
I don't know if anyone else has had this issue with downloading apk files from unknown sources.
OK so whenever I download any apk from sources other than the playstore. I know I should check the 'download from unknown sources' in the security section in the settings menu.
However when I press onto the apk and the installation manager asks to either 'install' or 'cancel' I try to press install but it doesn't work... Like no reaction on the screen... It's as if the screen is locked. But when I press the cancel button it works N hence apk isn't installed....
Does anyone have any solutions to this please let me know.
Thanks
I have attached a screenshot of which button doesn't work.
Your help would be much appreciated
Get rid of that task killer for starters! You dont need it, you're just killing apps that are gonna start up again so you're going round in circles. Unused RAM is wasted RAM.

Thanks mate it does make sense, I shall be deleting that.
And regarding the problem, after trying just about everything I wondered if my lock screen widget (echo) could have anything to do with it. So I deleted it, and presto! Install button is working!
I guess it was the widget app somehow messing with the touchscreen function on the phone.
For anyone having problems similar to what I had get rid of any lock screen widgets, screen dimmers etc.
Tc.
