hey guys

It was a nice ride with everyone here on the herald forum but sadly (and pissed off) i must say goodbye i bricked my phone and i stopped caring enogh to fix it u might see me on the rapheal thread in about a couple month
thanks to Ivan, PApa, tran and everyone esle who helped me make my phone a hell of a lot better

Wow, you dont even want to try to unbrick your phone? I hear you though. Im getting so tired of my wing, and I am about ready for a new phone myself. i just bought a 46 inch sony bravia, so i cant justify spending any more money on a phone, but there is a runor at our office we will be getting our bonus check next week so who knows. anyway, best of luck, and thanks for all the help you have given to me, as well as everyone else. i might have to look into the raphael. im still not impressed with the g1, so not sure what i want.

lol i did try to fix it i broke the lcd screen n i spent a total of 54 hours sodering and taping and other stuff trying to fix it lol i just dont care about it anymore it wont power on anymore

rapheal is worth it i have had a lot of hands on with the Sprint touch diamond and pro

Yeah, I believe after 54 hours it's time to call it quits!!! It's officially a doorstop now.

Yeah, I'll have to look into those. I've been busy and haven't had time to research phones yet, but we did get our bonus, so I might have to buy myself a phone soon! Let me know what you decide to go with. I would love to hear feedback.

ive had a lot of hands on with the GSM model (Fuze) and the Sprint TP both work so i cant describe but i preferrably would go with the Fuze just so i can keep flashing my phone lol but i get a major discount from sprint so most likely ill go with sprint
the Fuze actually mless programs space than the Sprint TP thats easily fixed by rom flash for a clean version

hey guys my hd stopped working and instead of paying to fix it ive ended up "going to the dark side" and buying the new iphone 3gs. just want to say thats to the whole xda community and especially fallen sparten, crack whore, mirri, onokolog and dutty. you guys are doing an amazing job and have been very helpful, im sure ill be back but for now take it easy and carry doing what you do

Man HERO CDMA aint getting no love.... man does anyone know when 1.6 is coming out for Sprint Hero?!?!?

Yay! I was hoping there would be a CDMA Hero sub-forum for us Sprint guys.
I just got mine Tuesday and I've been looking around trying to find a good forum. I just came from WM using a Diamond so the learning (or rather, un-learning) curve is a bit intimidating but so far, I'm just digging my phone that does almost everything I want it to right out of the box.
So...being a former WM user, I have come to rely on the knowledge base that XDA-Developers is famous for. Let,s get some good stuff rolling here!

I have some hope that someone with enough knowledge will help us to be able to root the CDMA version and offer up to us some of the custom rom goodness. However will I still be able to use Telenav? Love that

Hello my friends here at XDA!!
It brings me great sadness to say you wont really really see much of me round here for a while. I originally planned to make this thread in about a weeks time when i leave for my holiday to Florida for 2 weeks but im going to post now as today i have sent my beloved X10 for repair due to accidental damage. My x10 is not due back till wednesday, the day before i leave for my holidays.
This leaves me phoneless, i do not own a laptop and tbh i rarely have the patentience to use my **** old pc which sounds like its about to take off with the fan spinning so loudly! I odnt know if any of you notice but 99.999999999% of my posts and pm come from my xda premium app or tapatalk for this very reason!
On the plus side when i get back from my holidays i will be up for an upgrade on my contact and be able to get a better newer phone. When i find something i really like and want i will be leaving you guys. I will pop in of course to 'visit' and when i can i shall post before my holidays. I have a full time job and girlfriend and fairly active social life so dont expect to see much of me is all im saying and when the time comes to move on permananltly il leave you all know.
So really this is just to say you wont see much of me round here for perhaps about 3 weeks give or take a few days.

Well tbh i odnt think it will, iv buggered up the sim reader and needs replacing / repair. The screen sorted its self out though.

I want something brand new, not that sgs 2 is old but i want cutting edge newt time around and to follow developemt from the start. I dont like touch wiz and if i were to flash custom rom id want it to be like wb rom, remaining close to stock looks.

It is strange not seeing you around today as i know you will be missing all the fun of the bootloader unlock. What a time hey to get your phone drunk, i bet you not do that again mate lol.
Well i hope you get a phone sorted quick and that you enjoy your hols, maybe when you get back you can sort out another cheap x10 so you can play around with the unlocked bootloader with us all but if you get upgraded maybe you will not want to bother as you will have something better, well hopefully.

I know exactly how you feel, my x10 got stolen and vodafone didn't have any x10
They gave me Neo instead and its a awesome phone and all but with the bootloader unlock now I'm gutted...

lol you're sad about that?
dude that's the best thing ever.. the neo processor and gpu is a hundred times better. plus true multitouch
the x 10 bootloader being unlocked isn't going to amount to what people think.
you lucked out huge.

it is tomorrow i leave for my holiday, 2 weeks time il be back and hopefully have a phone, mine still isnt back from repair, im leaveing for manchester airport at 5am uk time so looks like no phone to take on holiday. Im sad without it and iv missed loads since iv been gone only one week.
