I flash to 7392 and i reboot my phone daily and never my phone never freezed. I updated 7392=>7720 Mango Offical recent through Zune all the way. then i did an hard reset, i set up everything on the next shutdown my phone freezes only way i can unfreeze its doing an hard reset. im tired of doing hard reset daily. Does anyone else have the problem and is there any tips or solution?
I had the same problem. This is what I did ... Do a hard reset, twice. As soon as you get rebooted enter in windows live id and activation code. Immediately reboot thrice times. It took me and hour before I got it to work and I feared I was experiencing the dreaded lack of touch response. But plenty of hard resets and reboots later I've been fine for 2 months now.
Just remember to reboot IMMEDIATELY after you enter MS activation and its accepted.
cheers mate
I had the same problem... You can try to do the whole process WM6-Radio-Magldr-WP7-Mango again.
Another thing, I noticed that if you let the phone off for few minutes, when you boot it again, it may not freeze...
Mine was doing it all the time, but after many flashed, it works perfectly.
Keep hope

I loaded Yuki's ROM and updated to Mango via Zune. Had it running for about a week before I discovered that when I turn off the phone and then turn back on, it gets stuck at the point where it should be loading the home screen. I get the time at the top and that's it; the phone is completely unresponsive. The only fix I found was to do a hard reset and start over. I thought maybe an application caused this so after the reset, I turned off the phone before loading any other applications. It got stuck again at the same place. I suppose this could be linked to the sd card and I'll try a different one. Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.
--Edit--
I've linked my issue to the sd unlock cab. As long as I don't install, mango restarts with no problems.
I've had this a few times.
Usually get the lockup at the SIM password screen.
Just reboot again and it will come back. Sometimes a couple of boots are needed.
I have a supported Sandisk card BTW.
Thanks. I've given it 2 tries before the reset but not more. I'll try to be more patient with it this time...or just avoid turning it off
I had the same problem as well, reflashed it with the same problem. after doing about 3 hard resets it finally worked.
I'm getting this continually, every time i reset i end up having to hard reset...
hi...
I'm really desperate, my phone is suddenly dying and I have no idea why, I'll tell you from yesterday what has happened:
- I'm playing a stupid game and suddenly the screen goes black. No led, phone doesn't answer any button, nothing. I hold power button, nothing. Remove battery and put again, nothing. After some attempts phone turns on, but just after starting it reboots or stays frozen.
- I decide to change the rom (I had simpl rom), so I do a full wipe and put CM 12. It seems it works, but when I'm in the settings, at the beggining, I don't even have time to put the wifi, it starts rebooting again and/or not responding.
- Desperated, I install via odin the stock firmware from Sam Mobile. It seems it's gonna work, but when the dialog of "Android is upgrading -- Optimazitating app x of XX" it always gets stucked in a number, randomly. I never get to the 230 apps.
- As a last chance, I try Kies to install factory firmware. The same as before happens, but now it's only 17 the number of apps it tries to optimize.
These last 2 times, of course, I enter recovery from time to time (now the default one) and wipe cache partition.
My phone is agonizing, what the f is happening? Does anybody know what could happen?
Please help...
Hi! I got my Essential Phone from someone that had it boot loader unlocked etc. I have experience with flashing and all so it was not a problem for me. Yesterday when I got the phone I went here and flashed AOSIP Rom again since it was the one it had but a wanted to make sure to have a fresh install etc. All working fine by then until about an hour ago the phone turned it self off and now it doesn't do anything. Every time it finally boots it shuts down again. If I try and enter recovery or Bootloader for fastboot, same thing. Sometimes it holds up for about 20 seconds and goes back to Off and be unresponsive for a period of time.
Has anyone had this problem before? If so, is this a Hardware problem?
I can't fix it by computer so I don't know what I am into right now. Its the only phone I have so I'm kind of stressed right now
Hello everybody,
two days ago, my Mi A1 just spontaniously restarted while running.
But since then it is stuck in the "Android one" screen. With multiple restarts, I finally manage to get to the unlock screen.
If I then enter my pattern the screen changes to "Android is starting", but after two seconds the phone restarts again until I'm at the "Android one" screen again.
So I can't enter the actual system.
I can enter the stock bootloader and also fastboot, but I'm not entirely sure what I can do there (except a factory reset).
I also tried to enter the failsafe mode (by hitting the shutdown icon longer in the unlock screen), but the phone just normally restarts as mentioned early. I don't seem to get into that mode.
My suspicion:
For a few months I'm running out of disk space. Because of that I couldn't install all the big updates lately. I suspect, that the OS somehow forced an update that failed because of the space issue. At least this is the only thing that I notice lately what could explain the situation.
Do I have other options to resolve my problem, except a factory reset?
My last backup is two months old, so I would survive deleting everything, but it would be way better if I don't have to
Do you guys have any hints for me?
regards and thanks in advance,
koala
I was getting nervous and just did the factory reset.
And it seems to have worked just fine.
Some data is lost though.
I got this tab over a week already I instantly installed google play but now it just randomly restarting. I tried to factory reset and manage to download the software update today but it can't stay longer that 2-3 seconds then it will restart over and over again. Is there anything I can do to make this device works again? Cause troubleshooting won't help I guess.
Thanks.

Go to recovery mode by pressing the volume down and power button.
Or battery is a problem.
