Is there any information on how to root Droid incredible 2.3.4?

Only if you have been rooted in the past and flashed Unrevoked Forever (S-OFF). Otherwise, no.

So, I'm coming from a Samsung Fascinate and a Droid 2 Global, and I'm getting my replacement Droid X in the mail today. One thing I was wondering if the root and flash process is the same as the D2G?

Yes youll need droidx bootstrap rather than d2 bootstrap to flash roms, rooting should be the same z4root...

Are there Fission or Liberty roms available for 2.3 GB? Or do I have to SBF back to 2.2? Btw I just got this droid x 1 week ago and rooted with z4 and immediately went to 2.3 when it was released..

Can someone tell me up to what version of Android can be currently rooted. I'm trying to find a Motorola DroidRazr HD for my dad but I'll only get him a phone that can be rooted. I don't want to know what updates can pass root on from previous versions, just what versions can be rooted.

Click to collapse
Currently they can all be rooted on the RAZR HD/M but only some of the older versions can unlock bootloader for custom recovery/roms
