I have a streak, but its with 2.2 and launcher pro. how old the vibrant? willing to trade, but my streak is locked to at&t, though i bought it straight from dell mobile devices, not dell att crap. let me know. Also, i'm on Pennsylvania..where r u?

Arrgh.. Streak service tag error

I need to get my streak replaced, as it does a hard reset every week (more or less).
However, when I enter my service tag in the "technical support" page in dell.co.uk (00-EU version), I get "Please ensure the service tag entered is valid."
What should I do?
How have others gotten their Streak replaced?

Call dell. It sounds like your streak isnt activated through them. Its not one of the beta units right?

I seem to have the same problem. My streak's tag is not recognized either. Bought mine directly from Dell UK website.

Bought directly from Dell yes, however via KickMobiles on eBay. but that shouldnt matter

Have you called dell support? Like I said it sounds like it isnt an activated unit. A call to dell should solve that issue. Probably will have to get a supervisor involved tho.
