Droidiris is an app that uses search engines like Bing or Google to locate HD wallpapers. The interface is kind of like the YouTube app. Very cool!
Still have to use multipicture live wallpaper or wizardrii in order to display full picture as the app downloads the wallpaper, does not install it.

Here is one example after I searched for an Android wallpaper.

I know there is an app that lets you use the whole image as the wallpaper. Unlike the stock one that only lets you stretch the view field so far...
Wallpaper set and save

Thanks bro
Does anyone know of a way to use your own picture or a downloaded picture as a fullscreen wallpaper in honeycomb?
The cropping tool sucks, any help would be greatly appreciated.
dude just read the forum before you post new thread its all over the place
anyway you can use one of those apps:
tablet wallpaper
or
wizardii
+1 for Wallpaper Wizardrii. Find it in the market, it does it perfectly.

was going to say same thing, tablet wallpaper rocks
I go to a website called HD Wallpapers, they have hundreds of wallpapers at different resolutions. Just choose 1280X800 which fit the Tab screen perfectly.
http://www.hdwallpapers.in/1280x800_wide-wallpapers-r.html
I also use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper app to auto change wallpapers after 1 mins.
i can't find tablet wallpaper
I'm using PicSpeed Wallpapers. Very nice quality, scrollable and frequent additions.
I use Backgrounds Box Wallpapers HD. I never got tablet wallpaper to work.
But searching the forum might help
Multi live wallpaper.... It gives the exact size with no distortion.

Thanks everyone for the cool tips for awesome wallpaper apps. They look sweet on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.

I download wallpapers off of interfacelift.com, which resolution should I download them for, for this device? Every wallpaper I set is blurry (aside from LWP's and stock wallpapers). Camera pics and other ones are blurry.
I've been using 1280x800 wallpapers but I still get zoomed in poorly cropped wallpapers unless I use the stock ones. You could try any HD picture and use an app like wallpaper wizardrii to scale it nicely

I tried that one but even with a single wallpaper and no transition, my tablet lags. I don't get lag with a standard wallpaper though. Maybe I'll need to re-try and play with settings

Hmmm which ROM are you using?
Set to "no transitions" here, and not experiencing any "lag", however it does take a second or two to initially set the wallpaper on boot up.

I don't know if it's just me, but every time I try wallpaper wizardii, at first, it fits nicely, and there is no problem, but after a few hours, the tablet becomes laggy. Especially the home screen transition is very laggy. Same goes for Multi live wallpaper. Although this one is laggy from the start.
I just couldn't believe the high rating of the apps. And I'm guessing it's only me who's having the problems..

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but here's the solution...
Download Wallpaper Changer by j4velin. Download whatever wallpapers off of interfacelift (I use 1680x1050, but other resolutions should work), put them onto the SD card. Add the wallpapers to the rotation. There ya go. Note that this app has a "Change wallpaper" widget. Add that to your desktop for quick wallpaper changes.
fwiw the default Res on the stock wallpaper "default_wallpaper.jpg" is 1920 x 1408
Crazy but true.
OK, so I want to use pictures I've taken (or downloaded for that matter) to set as my homes screen wallpaper WITHOUT cropping the picture (or without significantly cropping it)?
Right now when I try and set a picture from my gallery using the TW gallery it forces me to crop it, AND it forces me to crop it in PORTRAIT mode only...when I scroll (using Nova launcher, scrollable wallpaper enabled) it scrolls and shows black bars. So I downloaded and installed the .apk for the stock gallery, which was slightly better as it allowed me to crop in landscape mode, giving me more of the picture.
But, get this...if I'm using KIES Air and looking at the pictures and choose one to set for the wallpaper it automatically adds it, no cropping, full screen...What gives?
tl;dr
I want to use pictures from my gallery for wallpaper, without cropping (full screen), without KIES Air, and to be scrollable.
Thanks dudes.

Gr. Thanks for the tip.
Really was hoping to not need to install another app...not that I don't have the room (ha!), but that's just annoying that I have to. I assume, since the 'issue' persists with the stock launcher that this is an ICS thing?
Have you tried 'scrolling wallpaper' app from market. Its basically a LWP that lets you set any picture you want as a scrollable wall paper. You don't have to crop anything.

Hi!
I might be missing something, but how do I make my wallpaper scrollable? Basically, unless I use one of the pre-loaded Samsung backgrounds, whatever image I set wouldn't scroll.
Samusung wallpapers scroll just fine. Thanks!
Not even my Samsung wallpapers scroll
I may be wrong, but scrollable wallpapers are wider than the width of the screen.
Check out "Backgrounds HD (Wallpapers)"https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ogqcorp.bgh
It let's you set their wallpapers as scrollable. But not your own pictures.
